I came in to get a glaze to darken my hair to a medium brown. the girl seemed to understand what I wanted, until the results showed a shoe polish black with accidental red highlights! absolutely a nightmare! do not recommend coming here for hair color.

Big fan of the massage therapists in the Manasquan location. Place is nice and clean, but during the summer it can be crowded in the resting area. Otherwise, it is on the top of my list of favorite places if I am down in the area.

Beautiful spa. A great place to get your hair done massage or waxing and makeup. I love Karan for waxing and makeup and Laura for hair. It is a nice place to relax and unwind and everyone is very professional and friendly. It is worth the $

I got a manicure here a week ago, and I swear my nails have not chipped ONE bit! Thank you, Carol Anne! My manicurist took her time, was very enjoyable to talk to, and did a really great job. $ 23 is a lot for a manicure but if all stayed as long as Milagros do, I’d pay that every time!

Milagro Spa is my favorite special treat. It’s expensive, but its so worth it. My favorite treatment is the facial with Tereshina. She is hands down the best facialist in the world. Besides being amazing at what she does, she is a very sweet lady with a nice calming voice and always has pleasant conversation. She gives great recommendations on products without being pushy. One hour in Milagro and you feel like you are leaving on a cloud. Here’s my tip, bring your own flip flops. There’s a little something gross about wearing the standard issue sandals they provide at check in.

The salon feels like a cheap hair school. The club itself is nice but the salon is tragic. Haircut, not worth the trip.

My favorite day spa to relax and unwind. I love the sitting room and the huge fish tank. Something about sitting there, no electronic devices, no one needing me for anything… it’s absolutely serene! My massage therapist is amazing. She knows all my tension spots and works her magic… in 80 minutes I am as good as new again! The add ons such as aromatherapy and reflexology are wonderful too. Great membership incentives for frequent clients! The best of the best!

The spa appeared nice, but my review is about my stylist John Trost. I got his name on a recommendation and I’m extremely happy with both the cut and John himself. He has a good sense of style, took what I said and made it happen. My wife is now booking an appointment with him. You can go to him with confidence that we will do a great job.

I had a wonderful experience getting my hair cut at Milagro. My stylist did such a wonderful job and the rest of their staff was extremely helpful and made me feel super welcomed. It was a great, relaxing visit and I would definitely go back again. Also, I have yet to get a massage here, but my friends keep recommending me to go! Awesome experience.

I hate writing a bad review, but this place is such a rip off :(The quality of care they provide does not match the price. at all. Totally rude and pretentious people behind the counter. Only nice girl was the one who have me a pedicure. The rest were totally bratty and were making snide remarks behind the customer’s backs. This place is NOT the trendy luxury spa they make themselves out to be.

pick a different place for spa treatments. I went with 6 other girls for a bday for a day of spa treatment and it was not cheap. Had a hot stone massage for the first time. the girl might as well have been massaging herself. she spent more time playing with the rocks than actually touching me. i was waiting for the massage to start. why ask a client where their trouble areas are when you dont even bother to address them. then an automatic 20% tip added on? Pssshh… they got paid to play with rocks and i didnt even know her name. The front desk staff was pretty snooty, didnt even say thanks or how was everything.

— to start off. it really kills me to leave a bad review, but id rather share the info than for other people to waste their money on pricey less than mediocre service… =( — my cousins husband wanted to treat his wife to a girls day out spa party for her birthday, so i actually chose this place because of location and the fact that they entertain large groups and offered hair design services in addition to spa services, which most places dont. the original plan was nyc. which may, in retrospect, have been a much better choice… — the best part of the experience was that the coordinator was great and very accommodating for booking all of our appointments… — 6 girls, total bill almost $ 1000 — the menu itself is very expensive. for example, $ 75 for a brazilian wax is just ridiculous. i opted for a hot stone massage, since it was a special occasion, hoping for something more special than a regular massage, especially after seeing a youtube video of how it is performed. total $ 146, in which they tacked on a 20% tip. lamest massage EVER!!! i mean. i had one other massage that was horrible, but it was in a crappy town in Bali for $ 6, so for the extra $ 140, i had very high expectations. it was nothing like the youtube video. nowhere near it… she rubbed me. barely any pressure. i figured she was warming up. i kept waiting and waiting. and waiting… for the massage to pick up… like. literally rubbing me with hot rocks. i thought about asking her to use more pressure, but honestly, she was an older woman, and i didnt think she would be capable of it at all. id feel bad for making the older lady work. she just kept rubbing hot rocks on me. and spent alot of time fiddling with the damn rocks… sometimes i just laid there hearing the rocks clicking in her hands… halfway through, i just wanted it to be over and even considered ending it early just to spare the torture of a weak back rub. i felt stupid for booking such an expensive massage. afterwards she handed me her card. i thought it was a joke. after laying there for an hour like a dummy, my back hurt more than before the massage started… prior to starting the massage, we had to fill out a questionnaire that asked us which spots to concentrate on. i might as well have doodled all over the paper, because nothing was taking into consideration. — my sister had booked the same massage. she said it was lame, like mine. no pressure, lots of time spent playing with rocks. she also wanted it to be over lol… we both agreed that we shouldve booked a regular massage… horrible waste of money and a HUGE disappointment for the money spent… — and the haircut and style that my cousin got was not worth the $ 70. m. a $ 10 SuperCuts job would have done better… — my other cousin had a $ 90 body peel. which consisted of her having some sort of super pricey magic serum on her. thats it… Bottom Line: WAY overpriced, bad massages, dont even bother with the hair services. The trip to the city would have been much more worth the commute. the prices would also have been less with much higher quality. and like the other reviewer said. paid the bill, not even a goodbye or thank you. LAME sorry =(

This review is for the Manasquan location. I’ve been to many spas in Atlantic City, California, Puerto Rico, Italy, etc. so I figured I would try the spa close to home(since it is in a fancy facility)…I should have made the drive to AC for the spas there(Red Door at Harrahs, Bluemercury, Borgata) because my experience was quite underwhelming! First of all, I took my entire bridal party there 3 years ago for hair and make-up plus food and champagne — cost a couple thousand dollars… when I checked in the receptionist said«oh wow, you haven’t been here in awhile!» It made me almost feel bad and like I wasn’t a «regular» at the spa! Sorry lady, life gets busy and just because I wasn’t at your spa doesn’t mean I haven’t had a massage in 3 years! As for the massage itself, it was just mediocre. I told the massage therapist that I like deep pressure, but it didn’t really feel as if she were pushing hard. Most of the time was spent stretching my neck. Unusual for a massage I think??? I had 15 minutes between my massage and facial so I went into the relaxation room. It overlooks the parking lot — not relaxing at all! There are only 4 chairs so some people did not have room. Luckily I got a seat. No cucumber water. Only lemon water. I look forward to the cucumber water! Not a good selection of magazines — all old and geared towards older ladies(I am 30… where is the US Weekly and Cosmo!). My facial was actually nice. The aesthetician was friendly and took her time. Of course she tried to up-sell me on every add-on including the $ 150 microderabrasion wand. No thanks — just my facial please. I actually did get a vitamin C add-on for $ 20 just because I felt cheap constantly saying no. Sucker. After the facial I went to the dressing room. I used to be a member ta the gym here, and it looks like a gym locker room… except the gym one is actually nicer because it has a whirlpool and steam room! This only had a sauna. Two small showers with generic shampoo/conditioner. So I went to check out and the two receptionists were behind teh counter engaged in a conversation. They asked, «What did you have?» Shouldn’t they have this info? I said«A 60 minute massage, a 75 minute facial, and a vitamin C add-on.» Total with tip came to ~$ 300. No thank yous as I left. Now here is where I get angry. I get a phone call at 7 o’clock that night saying«We forgot to charge you for your add-on so please call us back with your credit card info since you don;t have a house account.» First of all, I did pay for it — they should have checked! Second, that’s like going to dinner and the restaurant calling you because they forgot to charge you for dessert! Who does that?! So insulting since the cost to them was probably $ 5. I called and told them I would fax a copy of my receipt which shows that I paid and it was rude to call me after the fact demanding payment. They gave a fake apology and said they just wanted to make sure I was charged for it. That’s not the point! Needless to say, I will not be back!!!
