This is the BEST Pollo a la Brasa in the area. The Chicken is so perfectly done. They give you three sauces that are each delish and the the Yucca fries are always crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The Service is friendly. Only two things would make it better would be a bigger sitting area and Horchata. :D I eat here every chance I get. It appears to be family owned which is a plus

me and the wife were debating on where to eat on a sunday, i told her how i drive by this new place that sells peruvian chicken so we figured what the heck, we were pretty tired of guapos anyways. let me tell you, we love it, our kids eat everything on their plate! the place is small, and odd but the service is like no other, the owner is very nice and treats you very well! i have recommended this place to all my co-workers who love peruvian food. i wish he had more variety, lomo saltado ect. and what we love the most is that we can get diet inka cola, we love it!!! i would strongly recommend this place!!!

My husband and I wandered in, drawn by the Peruvian chicken sign. What an eyeopener experience this was. The chicken was fantastic. The pupusas delicious. The yucca prepared just right. The service was fast and friendly and while English is not the first language spoken there it is possible to get everything by pointing and making hand gestures. That is part of the fun. We live in Pennsylvania but are in the Manassas area quite often and always make a bee line for«A La Brasa Chicken» as soon as we can. This is a destination restaurant and worth the trip to get there. In fact when the need to travel to Virginia comes up I am immediately excited because it means another visit to A La Brasa.

I was disappointed to see that Ocean Seafood & Deli has disappeared — in it’s a place a Peruvian chicken place has appeared. I walked in for lunch today — I asked the guy at the counter how long they’ve been open — he said a couple of months. I asked about when did the Ocean Seafood place disappear — he said it was about 4 months ago. Oh well. I ordered a half Peruvian chicken, with Yuca and a bottle of cold water. While I was waiting I eyeballed the place. It’s a bit of an odd configuration. There is no barrier between the kitchen equipment and the small dining area. The backs of the kitchen equipment are fully visible to one sitting in the dining area or walking by to the restrooms. Did not take long at all for my food to come up. It came with a small cup of an iceberg lettuce/greens/shredded carrots salad with a small amount of a creamy dressing. Was decent enough. The chicken came with two sides: a spicy jalapeño sauce, and a light, savory, mayonnaise-based sauce. I asked for several more of the Jalapeño sauce cups as I knew I go through a few of them. The chicken was heavenly! Moist, tender, fragrant, with a rich, savory aspect to it from the Peruvian magic used to make it taste so good! I alternated dipping pieces of chicken in both sauces, as well as the Yuca in the mayo-based sauce. The Yuca was cooked perfectly, crisp on the outside and done just ride on the inside. I had about half a soufflé cup of the jalapeño sauce left in the last cup after I was done with the chicken — so I downed it like a shot. :-) I thanked the guy running the place, told him his chicken was awesome — and that I will be back!
