My husband and I stayed here using our Marriott points on Christmas Eve when visiting my parents. Our stay here was excellent. We were able to check in early(at 9:30am!) as requested. They also accommodated our request for a room on the top floor. Check in was a breeze. The room looked like it had been recently renovated. It was clean and comfortable. It appears that this is one of their quiet times of the year. We noticed very few people in the hotel and their café was not open for dinner. However, their business center was open and helped my husband take care of a quick work issue. Also, the front desk staffer helped put away the luggage cart. In all, an extremely pleasant stay!

I stayed here for one evening for a wedding and everything was great — room was clean and had everything we needed, no problems checking out or in, a perfectly straightforward and comfortable experience all around. And a great price, relative to other hotels in the area. One star off because the lounge/bar/café has really odd hours — it is only open in the early morning and from 6−10pm at night. Those basically the hours I’m least interested in lounging. But mostly, this place has everything you need.

Overall a solid experience with a typical Courtyard. But it is the details that matter and cost them a star on this review. Room rate was exceptional given other similar class hotels are running nearly twice the rate. Location is excellent, right off the interstate yet far enough you don’t hear the road noise. As with the rest of the chain, the lobby has been updated with a cosmopolitan design and a bistro café. The pool is all the way in the back. When I walked in, I wasn’t sure it was open. The doors were propped open and lighting was shut off making it appear like a dingy broom closet. It is a safety issue. Unlike most other courtyards, there is also no spa. In the room, there was no luggage rack or microwave. Suck a minor investment in equipping the rooms makes a world of difference to the traveler not having to use a bed for a luggage rack and being able to heat those cup-o-noodles or left overs from the nearby restaurants.

This location is very clean, the personnel are super nice and knowledgeable about the area. I travel for a living and am at hotels seven nights a week and am impressed with this clean and comfortable hotel. There isn’t much in waking distance save for a Cracker Barrel but a short taxi ride can take you to anything you need — Walmart, liquor store, all sorts of food and shopping. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking. They have a pool, exercise room, and business center. The wifi works great too. And best of all the rooms are decent sized and laid out well. On the negative side the television channel line up needs work and there is no guide either on the tv or printed. Also I inquired about salting the parking lot. I am a professional driver in a tour bus. The nighttime guy told me to «drive carefully». I consider that an insult. My bus slide on black ice while traveling at 3 mph. If a professional driver indicates that your driveway is a liability, perhaps you should consider your option. This guy seemed like a douche who just didn’t get it. At least the day time help was fantastic.
