Fairfield Inn & Suites Manassas

This was a nice hotel with several great qualities that expected of a Fairfield brand. The room was nice, breakfast was good, and service was what I expect. I would return.
The location is just down the street from down town Manassas which is a $ 5 taxi ride and short walk to the Civil War battle field and NOVA Manassas campus.
I recommend this location and will return.

Close to the Jiffy Lube Concert. The complimentary breakfast and indoor pool plus fitness room was clean. Recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort.

If you’re familiar with Marriott hotels, this is a Fairfield that has had some lobby renovations but not much else. I’ve stayed at some surprisingly nice Fairfield hotels, but this one is just average. It’s a fine, safe place to spend a night while traveling, but I wouldn’t use it for a vacation or anything special. Free breakfast and they gave us a water bottle and crackers for our rewards level. Convenient location from the highway.

I reserved a block of rooms for my wedding, and got an excellent rate. I personally reserved two rooms — one for me, and one for a bridesmaid — both with my credit card, but the BM’s room was under her name for easier checkin. A groomsman also reserved a room for himself. When I dropped the gift baskets off the morning before the wedding, I confirmed all of the reservations, and gift baskets were to be left in their rooms.
But by the time check-​in arrived, the front desk told me BM that she had no reservation, and neither did the bride. And where did her gift basket go? We never found it. My mother called the next morning and AGAIN had to give a credit card and reserve my room.
Fast-​forward to the morning after the wedding. A groomsman paid for our room, and I paid for the BM’s — all paid up. But then when the BM checked out, they charged her! And then they charged my account for my room later that day!!! Luckily I used my credit card and not my debit card!
The only good thing was that they had a full breakfast bar included.
Just run away!!!
Update — the hotel had no record of charging me or my BM. After much haggling, and faxing in my credit card statement as proof, it remained unresolved. I filed a complaint with my credit card company, which removed the charge; ditto for my BM. Spend the extra $ 10 and stay at the Marriott down the street.

This hotel is conveniently located off of I-​66 and Rt 234 Business. Visible from the Interstate and easy to get to. Located very close to just about anything you could possibly need.
Considering the reason for the room rental, a child’s sleepover and pool party, it fit the bill.
The staff were all pleasant and accommodating. The amenities were what I expected. The layout of the room was interesting, not the typical rectangle.
This room was equipped with 1 king bed, chair, dresser, desk and chair, dressing stool, pull out couch, coffee table, microwave and fridge, 2 TVs with DVD players, a stereo, and an extra-​wide bathtub.
The only downfall was the location of the pool. This was the first time I had seen a pool smack dab in the middle of the bank of rooms. Literally. The pool room was located on the first floor directly past the lobby. It has rooms on either side as well as above it. My concern was the noise. The echoing was insane! We made quite a bit of noise. There were no complaints that I was made aware of.
The temperature in the pool room was 100 degrees at its lowest. It was very uncomfortable unless you were in the pool.
Overall, I would stay there again. I will be sure not to get a room adjacent to, or directly above the pool!
