Pete came out to check out our dish washer and refrigerator in the house that we are renting. He was patient and helpful and quickly fixed our dish washer issue. And, although he had to order parts for the refrigerator he was great at explaining the process. When he did the repair he was done quickly and efficiently. I was so impressed at his knowledge and his ability to trouble-shoot and solve the problems quickly. Would highly recommend this company.

We bought our washer and dryer from Fishers. Great experience, great delivery. Someone in my house washed pillows in the washer and broke the belt. I called Fishers, a repair man was at my house within 2 hours with the correct parts, and fixed the machine. We have had good service with them. We will return for any appliances or repairs we need. Everyone at Fishers is great.

Wasn’t impressed with this business. Thought I was in good hands given the«old school» feel of the shop and dealing directly with the owner. They gave me the wrong part for my Maytag washer, requiring a second trip from Chantilly to Manassas. A check of the serial # would have told them which part I needed, but they didn’t ask. I feel that as professionals, they should have known to ask and made sure they got it right. Found out later the second part was cheaper, but they didn’t offer to refund the difference. Could have saved at least $ 25.00 ordering the same OEM part online, which I will definitely do next time.

Extremely poor customer service. While I did get the correct part for my washing machine, I would never use this store again for parts. I called and ordered a part on a Thursday and was quoted $ 80 and told to pick up the next day. Which was great because several other places had told me $ 150+ and I would not have the part until next week. Showed up the next day and there was no record of the order. I was then told they would call the next week when it was in. Got a call Tuesday and went to pick up the part — all this time without a working washing machine, so I was desperate at this point. Arrived and the part now cost $ 137. Expressed frustration in both the delay and the cost and was told the place they usually get parts from didn’t have it so they had to get it somewhere else. Told them it would have been nice to at least have been called if there was going to be a change. They apologized and offered 10% off next time. But, why would I ever go back? It took 4 days more than expected and it cost almost 180% more than quoted. So disappointed with that level of dishonesty. At least with a chain store I could have started with low expectations.

Bought a Speed Queen washing machine from them after my fance Maytag Bravos finally died, after only five years. What a problematic machine that was. After researching basic washing machines, I discovered Fisher’s. Purchased the machine and it was delivered a day or two later, on time, no problems. The owner and his assistant were well into their 60’s, but handled the basement stairs with the machine without a problem. My daughter then overloaded the machine. I called Fisher’s. They came out, on time and exactly when they said they would, and fixed the belt and unjammed the hose. Overloading was the cause. All I paid was $ 119. What a deal compared to Sears. I’ll have them repair all of my Sears appliances from now on. Punctual, professional, fair pricing, old fashioned great service. Excellent business.

Very happy with our service call! Our Maytag dishwasher broke down over the weekend and I was told by the«factory service» folks at Maytag that it’d take about two weeks to send their contracted repairman over because we live so far out in the boonies(Warrenton, VA). Since our warranty expired many months ago anyway, I decided to give Fisher’s Maytag a try. Was pleasantly surprised that they do service our«rural» area and that a service call was set up for the next morning. The repairman arrived on time, diagnosed and fixed the problem in less than 20 minutes. He explained what had gone wrong(a blown fuse), tested all the wash cycles and asked me to call his cell phone right away if it should stop working again. I was just thrilled to have a dishwasher to use again after four days of washing dishes by hand. Cost is reasonable given the prompt and no-hassle service. Would definitely recommend this business. When our old Amana fridge breaks down again, we’ll be heading to Fisher’s to pick out a new one.

Small, family owned«no frills» business. Great service. Bought a Speed Queen washing machine from them. Easiest appliance delivery I’ve ever had– they gave me an exact time for the next day, showed up as promised.

I was trying to get our GE refridgerator fixed by Norris Appliance. They were busy that day, and referred me to Fisher’s. That told me good things right there. I had tried to work on the fridge on my own, and got above my ability. I described my problems over the phone, and we thought it would be a compressor switch. They came out, replaced the switch and it still didn’t work. They suggested another fix, which I saw quite a bit of risk in. I’m not naming that, because they went over and above to cover the risk for me, and ended up running back to their shop, getting the other part, and bringing it out again. This had to work, or I was going to be buying a new fridge. It worked. So I thought at that point that I would be paying out that bank account for their service. They came out twice on a Friday afternoon. I paid what I thought was a very reasonable price for mediocre service, not the outstanding service that they provided. If I have the opportunity, I’ll continue doing business with Fisher’s and with this sort of fairness, integrity, and support, you should also.

The Loneliest Guy in Town We dealt with these folks once. These are«old Manassas» folks who have been doing business for years in this town. We were referred to them by someone else when are washing machine started acting up. They gave us a good consultation over the phone. We described the symptoms. They initially told us that our model is outdated and that parts may not be available. They suggested that we might want to start thinking of just replacing it. But they came out anyway. They repairman, based on what we said over the phone, brought what parts he thought were needed, and he guessed right. He fixed the problem. It saved us the cost of a new washing machine.

Great family owned and run business. Very knowledgeable. They stock obscure parts for Maytag appliances and will even provide tips for installation. Reasonable prices. Has parts and service that you can’t find at the big box home supply stores.
