Long Nails

First and last time going to this nail salon. I chose it last minute to surprise a friend for their birthday while visiting Manassas. My friends and I were immediately seated in the back to get our pedicures done. I waited about 10 minutes while the water in my foot spa turned lukewarm. One of the technicians was not paying attention and the water in my foot spa overflowed. They also did not put any scents or soaps in the foot spa which is what I was expecting. When the technician doing my pedicure came over, she was so rushed. Nobody else was there but she finished my nails before my friends who were tended to first! I did not feel like I could relax because she kept picking at my feet in a painful way. The same technician also did my manicure. The overall product was good, but the service could be 100x better. I will definitely not go back to this nail salon next time I’m in NoVA. I highly recommend Just Nails in Burke!

tip: if you come here because your feet are rough, they charge $ 5.00 to remove callus. wont be back. nice décor and staff i guess. blah

So I went there randomly today and I am not satisfied. I got a full set, French tip. I asked for the nails short. Idk the technicians name but she cut one nail and I told her to make it shorter so she did but then she didn’t follow that as a guide for the other nails. I asked for the white to be thin and she didn’t listen either. Now looking at my nails, this is probably the worst job I’ve had done. Ever. The nails aren’t even straight. Never coming back… maybe only if theyll fix these nails for free.

Soooo, I’ve been here twice. I can give a proper review. My first visit was by accident because I thought that this was another nail salon, but decided to give it a try since I was already there. Tiffany was nice and so was another girl named Amy I believe. Jennifer was not, but there was one girl with good English and took a lot of care in her appearance… The hair, make-​up, nails, tight hooker outfits…, you get the picture. Now I don’t care what a tech wears because this is the business and she does go over the top compared to any nail tech I’ve been around. What I do care about is the nasty and unfriendly attitude she carries bigger than her looks. I don’t get it but it certainly overshadowed the awesome work and experience that Tiffany and Amy delivers. They love their customers and it certainly shows while this other one floats around and doesn’t make anyone feel comfortable. She is fast but it’s obvious she DOES NOT want to be there and is snippy do don’t try to make conversation because it’s too much work. Tiffany gave an awesome mani-​pedi. She fixed my disastrous nails that I never knew could look flawless as they were splitting at the quick on two nails. She was attentive and made me feel special and included. She have me better options using gel when I’m not a person to always get nails done so it was a nice treat to see the possibilities of nail advancements. There were unknown up charges like $ 5 for each repair, but the results were amazing. I went back tonight to repair another nail by the unpleasant lady and was charged $ 8. I still gave a $ 2 tip because it’s empty there and why not? I walked in and she worked fast. The nail was not trimmed to match my other nails, oh well see the pic. I asked if they were ever closed and she said it was open 7 days a week. I wondered if they ever got off and she was not pleasant in response, «we get a day off, everybody gets a day off even if it’s open everyday.» Well that was my attempt at small talk and occasional compliments on her work. If she didn’t make this place so dang uneasy, I’d probably come back, but can’t put myself through a third visit unless I find out when she is off. I feel worse for going.

Jennifer, the owner, is my go-​to technician. She is very precise, takes her time and makes certain each customer leaves the salon feeling great!

My husband and I both go here. Tiffany gives the best pedi I have ever had. Amazing!

I started going to this Salon when Jennifer opened it a few years back. I have been with her for about 8 years when she was at another Salon. I am the pickiest person when it comes to my nails. I like them slim and thin and looking natural… not clunky! Jennifer makes my hard working hands look like silk! My nails are amazing and she is truly an artist in her field. When I can’t get in to see her, there are a few other ladies that do a great job, as well. Her prices are good and she runs specials during the week. The pedicures are heavenly and this is a very CLEAN place. I would recommend this place to everyone, as it is professionally ran and the all of the technicians are real sweet and caring! They all work hard to make you feel important and pampered and they never seem to lose site of that. Great place to go!

I have been going to Tiffany since January, and I am still just as pleased as I was the first time I booked an appointment at this salon. I was sorry to see the reviewer who supposedly had a bad experience, as that is definitely not the norm. I have watched other nail technicians during my services with Tiffany (I’ve been there often as has my daughter), and I would recommend any other tech in there. They all come across as friendly and thorough. Yesterday, I got the deluxe pedicure (sugar scrub, masque, paraffin — legs and feet) and a regular manicure, and I look absolutely fabulous, dahling. ;) And, as usual, Tiffany was a doll.
I put 2 dollar signs just because they are not as cheap as the cheapest for prices, but they are certainly not expensive. The regular manicure is $ 14 vs. $ 10 or $ 12 at the really cheap salons. And you can tell you are NOT getting «cheap» services — the quality is noticeably better.

Horrible service. Horrible job on cleaning my feet. Felt she was rushing the whole time but the place was empty!!! Wasted $ 25… Never going back!
