When I bought my condo a year and a half or so ago — the builder, Beazer, used McCormick brand paints to paint the place. Beazer left me with a pint of the wall paint and a pint of the trim paint for touchups. I recently used up most of that pint of wall paint for repainting a couple of sections of wall in the living room after having the walls ripped open for a custom surround sound speaker cable run for my HDTV setup. I figured I had better get some more of this paint and hold it in reserve just in case(you never know when the manufacturer is going to discontinue a color!). I found that McCormick Paint is not available at Home Depot or Lowe’s — you have to go to their own stores. Fortunately, there is one nearby in Manassas. I’ve gone by here once before on a Saturday afternoon — but they have limited hours on Saturdays — they close at noon. It’s located on Route 28 south of Manassas — a bit just past the interchange of Route 28 and the Prince William County Parkway/Route 28 Bypass. So I made a point to get there about 11:30 am this morning. They had what I needed in stock! Picked up a gallon of their«Tempo Premium — Interior Semi Gloss Acrylic Enamel 18012 Designer White.» Cost was $ 33 and change. Guy snagged me a gallon, rang me up, and I was on my way!
