Just an update– I went for a consultation at another practice after having that terrible experience with Dr. Rasmussen. At this consultation I was very honest about my anxiety and issues with the last place I went. I told him that Dr. Rasmussen had told me «I wouldn’t find a surgeon anywhere that would do this surgery outside of the hospital because of my anxiety» & «That I wouldn’t find a surgeon that would let my boyfriend come back to hold my hand until I was under» etc. This surgeon was amazing, he seemed appalled at my pervious experience. He said he would never not allow a family member to come back to sit with a patient until they were asleep and in all his years of doing this he has never had to do this in the hospital. I’m very happy to say that last Friday September 5^th I had all four of my impacted wisdom teeth taken out! Everything went smoothly and I have been at home healing wonderfully. I went to Northern Virginia Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates in Woodbridge and my surgeon was Dr. Zadeh. He was awesome so if you are looking for a real professional I would highly recommend them. Professional staff professional doctor, all around wonderful!
