I’ll admit, this particular store is always really clean, organized and well stocked, but the pharmacy is such a pain in the tail that I’ll be going to the CVS across the street. Twice, I have taken a prescription into this store and had them tell me that they refused to fill it. Once, because they thought the dosage was too high, and the other, because it was«too soon» after the doctor had written it. Uh, what? a… as far as dosage goes, it’s not for a pharmacist to determine what I need. That’s my doctor’s job, and of course after my doctor was called, I got EXACTLY the dosage that was written. b… if I go to the doctor, and there is a prescription written, of course I am going to go have it filled. What the? So… I get they have a job to do, but the pharmacist is a pharmacist… and a doctor is a doctor… let’s stick to what we know, shall we?

I had to rate today’s visit to the pharmacy drive-thru a 1 star because negative stars were not available. My sister asked me to stop by the pharmacy and pick up an RX for one of her kids. It was snowing so I decided to go to drive-thru. I drove to the window and pressed the button as instructed by the sign. The pharmacist came to the window, picked up the speaker phone and snapped«I’m real busy, I have no help and it is going to be a long time before I can get to you, it would be faster if you come inside» He then hung up the speaker phone and walked away before I could even say anything. I pulled around and parked the car. My mother who was with me went inside, she said there were no customers waiting inside. She spoke to the manager on duty and they told her that he is a floater pharmacist and they do not know why they send him. I have used this pharmacy before as it is the only one close that takes my insurance but I do not care for it at all. The only good part of Rite Aid is their reward program.

Was looking for a Joslin«Ultimate Arm Sling.» After finding them listed on the ‘net — their web site advertises that Rite Aid carries them. The arm sling I was given after surgery is a «one-size-fits-all-to-small» arm sling. Joslin advertises more comfortable arm slings in different sizes. So I found one at the Rite Aid located just outside of Old Town Manassas. Got lucky too — got the last one in stock!
