Roman Delight Pizza

Was the best pizza in NoVa… but now their gone :=(

Closed. I miss you guys. You had good pizza. Now i am lost. No pizza in the mall.

Despite being stuck in the Manassas Mall food court, this place has my favorite pizza. (If they would only deliver!) It’s nothing fancy… just good NY style pizza. If you eat it there, the crust is alway crisp on the bottom from the pizza oven… never gotten it to go, so I’m not sure how well it holds up on the road. I prefer extra cheese and you can actually see them throw a mound of mozzarella on your slice. For some reason, the pizza here reminds me of the pizza place in Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze – The place where they customers order the super cheesy slices… mmm. If you’ve never seen the movie, check it out… it’s worth it for the Vanilla Ice cameo alone.
The prices are reasonable; I think I can spend about $ 7 on two slices and a soda.
There’s not much service to speak of; you just walk up to the counter and order.
A lot of people in the area are fans of Tony’s NY Pizza. In my opinion, I think Roman Delight has better flavor a better crust. Tony’s does, however, have amazing meatball subs that can’t be beat (but I’ll save that for their review).
If you want to try this place out, go for lunch. And try to avoid weekend nights, as there are always lots of kids hanging out being ghetto. It’s not dangerous or anything, just annoying. I have a bit of ghetto in my blood, so sometimes the pizza is worth it.
