I prefer the other location in Manassas on Mathis Ave. due to their friendly customer service. I recently visited this location and apparently did not hear my number when they called it out for pick up. I was sitting on a bench waiting directly in front of the register and waited for a very long time, thinking that the later customers may have been called first because they had simpler sandwich orders. Finally, I was the only customer at the time and they did not call me and stood and stared at me. I went up to ask if they had by chance called my number and my order was sitting right there the whole time. I guess it was too much of a bother to try and let me know my food was waiting! I won’t be going back.

Great pizza, but Customer service is absolutely horrible. They don’t have basic customer service skills when taking orders, payment, and handling food. Always rude on the phone, and also the main guy who answers the phone is a straight up donkey. Oh if you tell them they’re wrong they«mess up» your order and make you wait 40 minutes.

Horrible customer service. From here on out we will only go to the Bristow location. The bald man who I assume is the owner, is extremely rude, As well as the girl who took our order, which appeared to be his daughter. She kept rolling her eyes because we wanted to take a second to look at the menu board. I ordered two slices with mushrooms and onions. They forgot my pizza when the rest of my family’s order was ready, basically threw the slices at me with raw onions on top. We also ordered wings to go. Ridiculously tiny! Felt like a soup nazi experience from Seinfeld!

(This review is purely in regards to the staff, not the food.) Terrible service. You are sooo much better off going to any of the OTHER Tony’s Pizzas in the area, especially the one on Mathis Ave(where the customer service has a reputation of being EXCELLENT.) I don’t believe this facility is owned by the same person as the other Tony’s. My family has had multiple issues with rudeness from the staff. Recent issue– My husband is very sensitive to spicy things. He had ordered a regular foccacia bread. It came with lots of garlic butter and what appeared to be other herbs. In recent years, it came completely plain, and their menu does not specify anything additional. So my husband first asked if his order was correct because of the differences and added ingredients from previous times. They said this was the«regular way» and when my husband pointed this out, they said, with an attitude, that we were wrong because they«had been making it this way for 20 years” —(which we know is not true.) They also refused to fix the issue and told him he would have to pay for a new one. My husband asked to speak to the manager, and the employee said that he was the manager. I am not sure if this is true or not, but if that is the case then it just goes to show that the customer service is horrible stemming from the top level down. I have seen other reviews that state the manager just simply does not care about making customers happy, and that is very unprofessional. Any of the good reviews for this pizza place seem to be from people who are new to the area. Anybody who has lived in the Manassas area for a while knows that the other Tonys pizzas are leaps and bounds above this one. It sucks, because this Tony’s is right down the street form our house, but until their attitude changes or they get new management, we will not be going there anymore.

I’m a bit of a pizza snob and this is the best NY style pizza in the area. Although I’m out of the delivery zone and it’s a 20 minute one way trip – and means driving into Manasas on Sudley Road – this is where I get pizza because it’s worth the extra effort.

I ordered 2 large cheese pizza by phone and showed up 30 min later — normal time to cook pizza. Upon arrival I paid for my order. The inside was overwhelmed and then I waited another 35 minutes! I complained and got a «sorry», the manager could care less… I will never return… EVER! Horrible customer service and the pizza was like cardboard.

First time here. Came in for a slice of. Sicilian and a small fountain drink. — - only $ 4. Very crisp, delicious crust, awesome sauce(I can’t stand sweet sauce and thus was perfectly tangy). Did not try the desserts but dang, check em out.

We’ve been going here off and on for at least a dozen years and have always been happy with the food. Our orders typically are for the antipasto, calamari, spaghetti and meatballs, gluten-free pasta with meat sauce, or the greek salad. The sauces are really flavor-intense. Last night I finished off the Italian sauce that came with the calamari and caught some chunks of raw garlic — a real treat for this garlic fanatic! I went during lunch for the first time last week and noticed the wonderful Italian pastries in the case, which are usually sold out by dinner time. There was a line of blue collar workers as well as suits getting lunch there. Usually fresh-baked bread topped with a nice chunk of garlic butter is added to most orders. I think everything we have tried is a notch above what we expected. The restaurant is clean. You can see most of the kitchen from the order counter, which I appreciate. The workers are focused and busy back there, lots of food to get out ASAP. There is no table service, that’s up to you to hear your number called and go get it. You might be taken aback by the unfriendly attitude of the owner, but we’ve learned to look past that. We tried to interact. No dice. The focus is getting good food out quickly, in my opinion, and we do go back for more.

Another Tony’s, another review. This is my least favorite Tony’s location. It is always IMO the busiest of the Tony’s locations, why I do not know, but it also is the slowest of them to get the food out to you. I’ve waited over a half hour just for two slices of pizza. Yes, it was during a lunch rush, but this one overall feels very slow. The good is that this place, like the others, has decent to best Italian cuisine in Prince William County(and it’s not a chain), as well as that of which I can relate to from the NY/NJ area. They don’t deliver, but the food has«New York» and«New Jersey» fingerprints all over it, a nice reminder again of what home tastes like. I do like Tony’s. I do not recommend this location because of where this one is, as well as its very long waits. The one off of Mathis Dr. and their Bristow location are better choices, as they are in better plazas, and move a lot faster. Of course, the reward is great for both with the wait, and making it a lot better when you take that first bite.

One of the worst places to eat. Standing in line for 18 minutes to place order and the cashier looked up and kind of walk by. Then 3 cashier coming to the front and talking about what they were going to do after work. Okey I get it but you are here to work not ignore customers who are here to eat. First time and will never return.

The pizza here is good. But I love reading the reviews from the Americans who make their home in Manassas. They are hilarious. I admire them for trying foods that were not killed by a pickup truck and for having beverages not poured in mason jars.

Absolutely bad service, we ordered 3 meals and just one came, which is just absolutely rude, the manager said I don’t care, next customer please. The food finally came and was not completely cooked, I’ll never eat in this place ever again, to bad we can give negative stars.

I think if you stick with the pizza, sandwiches and fried appetizers, this is the place to be. First time visiting, and was little confused with the set up. It’s a counter service restaurant– so you walk up and order and they give you a number. Then they call you to come back and get your food. If you have a particularly big order, like we did, you may get called up several time– like we did. That got a little annoying– but for the price and the amount of food we got, now that we know how it works, we can deal. We ordered a few different pizza options, a rustic pizza slice(my favorite), a pepperoni roll, a calzone cheese garlic bread. My husband ordered a veal piccatta dish and he said it wasn’t bad, but he wouldn’t order it again. It was pricey, but did include a salad and bread sticks, although looking at the menu, we didn’t know that. We would’ve skipped the cheese bread if we had known the dish came with sides. Everything was good, nothing really negative to say. It was a quick, inexpensive restaurant and we’ll go again and try it out. Like I said, though, I think we’ll stick with the pizza/sub/bread aspect of it and skip the entrees.

This is our go to place for Italian food. Pizza is always fresh, pasta is al dente and cooked to perfection. Décor needs to be updated(the reason for 4 stars), but we’re there for the food and not the ambiance! Definitely recommend for wonderful Italian food!

They know their pizza: fresh and cheesy with quality toppings. No canned mushrooms, no waxy mystery cheese-like glop, no tasteless cardboard textured crust. No! Tony’s is the real deal: delicious home made man handled dough, stretched into circles and sauced. cheesed…with toppings dealt by human hands with the expertise of a card dealer in a casino. Their salads are flavorful and crisp, the portions are fair and the beer comes in a pitcher. Iced glasses! And there’s more than just one location, each is as good. this one is small and can get packed quickly, the staff handles the crowd well and feeds them fast. Parking in the lot can be tricky, be prepared to walk.

For the area, the pizza is good. However, if you’ve lived elsewhere in the US, it’s not impressive. Also, there is a huge dichotomy here. The pizza is pretty good for the area and the price. However, the lasagna is horrid! It’s expensive and tastes like something you buy from the frozen food aisle; it was even drowning in water from having been frost bitten. I’ve actually never had worse lasagna from a restaurant in my life, and it was over $ 12! Really?! Anyhow, if you come, just stick to the pizza or garlic bread.

There needs to be more stars to give !!! I absolutely love this place. In fact this is likely my favorite place in Manassas. The food is amazing. My favorite is the white pizza with spinach and broccoli. Odd I know, but I love it!!! Their salads are on point as well. This is a great place to order out our sit in. Grab a pie and grab a beer and enjoy the awesome experience.

Ate here twice. Same order: 2 plain slices and a fountain coke. Pretty average pizza compared to NJ. First time was a bit better, the pie was reheated like they do for slice service, and was hot and crisp. Second go round the pie was fresh and maybe a bit undercooked, but ok. Average prices too. The place seemed pretty clean. They did seem a bit odd behind the counter both times. It’s a whole production of writing a check, passing it to a special oven guy, waiting, getting it back with the slices, then pouring your soda, calling out your number even though you’re standing right there… finally letting you pay after all that. Very rigid and odd to me. Maybe they need this when they’re busy, so they just do it all the time. Where I come from the same guy takes your order, cuts the pie and throws it in the oven, pours your soda and charges you, by then your slices are hot and he gets them. Bada bing. No big deal. Thats not to say anything is bad here, just not what I’m used to. In the end it was a good average pizza lunch.

After my friend and I did some wine tasting, we wanted something quick and tasty on a cold day. He suggested we had to go to Tonys because they have the best Greek salads. We got 2 slices of NY style cheese, a chicken roll(it comes with a side of marinara for dipping, you had me at dipper) and a Greek salad(another perfect pick). The soda situation was a bit ridiculous with the 1 refill policy. I mean it’s 2015 and we just paid nearly 4 bucks for a fountain drink, don’t skimp on beverages, huge turnoff. Nothing fancy, just really good food. Easy and cost efficient. In DC that would have cost us 30 –40 bucks, here under 20. The pizza is NY influenced, but really darn good.
