The team at Xtreme Archery is extremely knowledgable, friendly, professional and patient with any and all customers. This family run business takes immense and well earned pride in their operation. Their line of bows and accessories are top notch and you can shoot/try out any bow in the shop as they carefully and expertly set it up for you to make sure you get the right archery rig for your specific needs. Although I live in Arlington, about a 45 minute drive away, I will consider the professionals at Xtreme to be my local bow shop. I spent four hours in their shop today pondering a new bow and set up, trying(shooting) multiple bows, handling and examining several accessories(release aids), asked tons of questions about arrows, rests, sights, etc. and Bobby and the boys took good care of me. I highly recommend their shop for all your archery and bowhunting needs.

I have been to this establishment once to buy a bow for my little sister as a surprise birthday present. The experience was excellent. The gentlemen had a thorough knowledge of the field. I left with the bow I’d purchased and returned with my sister later that day. The owner took the time to take her back and fit her and they even gave her starter lessons! I will be back. The prices are a touch higher than other sporting stores but the value is unbeatable!(I negotiated.)

I have ZERO bow experience. I bought my bow online through ebay, a Stinger 3g. It is the ready to hunt package and my first bow ever. I feel like I got a good deal on it, but I would have done just as well had I gone to Xtreme Archery(formerly B&B). The above review is correct. It has new management, but when I went in it was the original owners/creators of B&B who just took over control of the business from whoever bought them out. I went in to get my bow set up($ 50). If you buy a bow there, they include the setup in the price of the bow. So overall, I didn t save on the bow compared to just going in to the shop. They set the weight, draw, replaced the whisker biscuit whiskers? for free(damaged in shipping), and even let me shoot in the store — at a target towards the back of the shop. They gave me a couple of needed pointers, and overall were very friendly. Zero judgement. I will say that I went to Dawson s Small Arms first, but was turned off by the statement We are a gun shop first, and do archery on the side. The store is very well stocked with bows and accessories. I also bought 6 practice arrows for $ 45. I m pretty sure he put them all together right there. I was looking around and the arrows were ready pretty quick. I also bought a target for $ 70(Morrell Super Duper). I m just getting into archery with my son(7 ½), and now my wife wants to play too. I m almost positive I ll go back and buy my wife s bow here. B Sr. also gives lessons for $ 40/hr. That seems reasonable to me, but I ve never shopped around for lessons. Overall, I was xtremely(pun intended) pleased with the shop and the guys in there. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.
