I can’t warn people enough. This place should be sued by more customers. But that wouldn’t fix the problem. Part of the problem is they use ASAP Auto Glass.
They had repaired the roof of the car after some hail damage, but it was leaking again a few months later. They were very nice and offered to fix it for free. I said thank you.
I came to pick it up and it was not raining. I park in a garage so it took a week before i got rain on my car. I realized they had actually caused more leaks. After the work they did, the car started leaking ALL OVER. I had one leak when I first came in, a month later my car has 4 – 6 areas with water staining the inside. I called back with all the politeness in the world. The lady said she would fix it for real this time. They had the car for a WEEK.
Mind you they didn’t give me a loaner, so each time was an ordeal getting a friend to drive me out there. Worse my job depends on me actually being there.
When I came back, I asked her to REALLY check it this time. She pulled it out and said it’s all good we just ran it through a «pressure tester» and if air can’t get in, then water can’t either.
I get in the car, and what do I do? I touch the ceiling, and wow it’s soaking WET. I had her actually go touch the inside of my car.
So she explains the glass guys have to put the seal on it and then I can come in and get it for the final time. I came in and didn’t let my ride leave. The rubber seals along my roof were just laying there, not even glued down!!! They were obviously completely ignoring my car.
So They «fixed it» and I came to get my car. I left and voila it rains and it leaks. The seal was bulging up in a small area, but clearly water could get in. So I call them and they send ASAP Auto Glass to my place to do the fix. I told them I would pay them to fix the car, but they said they were just under orders from CCC.
The ASAP Auto Glass guys were the most unprofessional guys ever. They pry up the seal with a screwdriver (scratches?), apply glue, and push the thing back down. I asked why one part was still bulging, the same part as before. They said they couldn’t fix that, but I could push down on it while it dries. So I did. I must be a real sucker. I sat there for 30 minutes pushing on the seal to hold it down. Even paid a homeless guy to push on it for another 30 minutes.
WHAT WAS I DOING?! These people were taking me for a ride.
I went to a dealership, asked for their advice. They said I could have it resealed by any glass company for cheap. It’s an easy fix they said.
So I called Custom Car Crafter’s Leila (she’s nice), and had them fix it one more time. I suggest they actually fix it this time as I would hate to have to take other legal actions.
They didn’t get out any of the stains that they caused.

i have had my cars at the north location for minor body work on several occasions and have always had a really good experience. i have found these guys to be honest, skilled, and knowledgeable. i really would not take my car anywhere else at this point.
today i brought my car in because of some damage my 16 year old did when she misjudged the proximity of a curb stop. there were some scrapes on the underside of the front bumper, two of the bumper latches were broken off, and something was making a clackety noise. i told leila the adjustor that this one would not be going through insurance due to the fact that my 16 year old was the driver.
leila got all around and under the car, jiggling and jostling the bumper, looking for the source of the clack. i asked if she would go for a ride with me so she could hear it for herself — and she agreed. but suddenly no clackety noise. we suspect that she jiggled something back into place earlier and that the phantom noise was, at least for now, gone.
she told me she wouldn’t worry about the scratches since they are hard to see and since a 16 year old driver is bound to get a few more. she told me not to worry about the bumper either (it wasn’t going anywhere despite having lost two latches. and she said if any of the noises come back, to stop back in and see her.
she didnt try to talk me in to work i didn’t need. she took the time to investigate the problem. she was pleasant and honest the whole time — even though it ended with no work ($) for them.
highly recommended.

If I could rate them any worse I would! I will cut to the chase by telling you that I left my car at the south Austin location to have minor cosmetic work done on the front bumper. When I got my car back there were 40+ miles on the odometer that weren’t on there when I initially left my car there, my console was cracked, my vanity mirrors were ripped from the sunvisors, the screws on my stereo amp were stripped. «Billy Bob» at the main location on McNeil vowed to clean up the entire mess over the phone, however when I showed up in person for some reason his entire attitude had changed. He attempted to deny everything and I nearly had to take legal action against them.
They eventually fixed the damage, but I was out of my car for a month thanks to some in-​house joyriding and vandalism. TRUE STORY… do with it as you may, but consider this fair warning.
They would rather violate, lie and consequently replace thousands of dollars worth of vandalism on a high end sports car than just simply provide honest, quality customer service in exchange for the customer’s patronage.
What the fuck? I wouldn’t leave my worst fucking enemy’s vehicle at this place for service.
