Went twice last weekend cause you’re the best bob. I had the burrito on the first visit and steak & eggs on the second one. Farmers burrito made me so full but steak & eggs was the bomb. Def gonna comeback so see on march 5th.

Love, love, love Bob’s skillets. You can also get eggs any way you want them. There is almost always a line, so go at off-times if you want to be seated quickly. It’s tough for groups bigger than 5 — it can get tight, but it’s worth it. Breakfast sandwiches are also always right on target. Service is always excellent and with a smile. Food is really great and exactly what you would expect from a good diner. You can see that the«Bob’s» in the«Bob’s Diner» sign is a bit different than the«Diner.» That’s because it used to be the«Best Diner» sign and they just replaced«Best» with«Bob’s» and didn’t get the match exactly right. You can’t go wrong with Bob’s…as long as you can find a space in the parking lot.

A favorite of mine for breakfast. I usually get the waffle(with real maple syrup) with a side of sausage and home fries. Best waffle ever, seriously so good! Home fries are perfectly greasy with onions mixed in. This is making me hungry right now! Reasonably priced, super nice staff, and cute environment.

I had the delicious Corned-Beef hash with 2 eggs over-easy, home fries and white toast, washed down with a few ice cold Pabst fizzy beers. I don’t really like Pabst fizzy beer but it was only $ 1. Will definitely come back if they let me.

Just a solid American diner. Good food, good atmosphere, good service. Everyone I went with enjoyed their food when we stopped in as we drove back from Vermont. I got Farmer Bob’s Skillet, which had a hash of eggs, sausage, lots of Vermont cheddar cheese, toast and home fries. The food needed a little seasoning, but nothing that a little salt and pepper couldn’t fix. Overall, I was extremely filled and satisfied. If you’re passing by Bob’s Diner and could use a good meal, you should stop in. No frills, nothing special, just a good meal.

A must for breakfast. The service is quick, always packed with locals and families traveling through to Manchester or one of the many local attractions. A true piece of Americana the way diners use to be.

Tl: dr; great diner with great food in Manchester. Really all you could want for some tasty breakfast and/or lunch The longer version: It’s a little off the main streets of downtown Manchester, but the trek out to Bob’s Diner is well worth it. At first, we expected a place that would be as old school and traditional a diner as you might expect, but not so. The inside is a mix of old and new school with a pseudo modern chic décor theme going on. It’s weird — especially when clashing against their cash registers from the 80s — but it works The service is so nice and sweet as I was totally expecting, and the lady serving us brought a big smile to my face. She was a hawk on the coffee and water refills which was very much appreciated The food was pretty darn good too. The omelettes they made were on point, and the home fries were a tasty(not spectacular, but very tasty) accompaniment. In all, a definitely great cozy way to spend breakfast, especially on a super chilly day

Ordered a cheeseburger medium, took one bite of a bloody rare burger, it tasted so horrible it made me sick. It was the end of the night and close to their closing time, I didn’t bother to reorder, the waitress seemed nice enough, but the kitchen staff Were, let’s just say, they are all kids working there and they could care less how the foods comes out, I didn’t dare send it back after hearing the conversations from the kitchen staff. I just left. Won’t make that mistake again.

The waitress was friendly and the juke box was appealing. However, the meatloaf was reheated and had two kinds of gravy on it. When I enquired I was informed that new staff put turkey gravy and then when it was caught, they just put on the beef gravy. The meat loaf was ok, and the mashed were fine. The intrepid eater had eggs benedict which he liked. I am down grading this to two because in addition to the the gravy fiasco(the plate should have been redone), there were a lot of flies in the restaurant, and the air-conditioning was an antique,(in keeping with the fifties theme,) the air conditioner sounded like you were near an airplane about to take off. I probably should have left and gone down the street.

After one breakfast here, I am ready to pronounce Bob’s to be the perfect diner. The all-important hash brown test? Passed with flying colors. Our waitress said the cornbeef hash would be the best we ever tried — and she was right! Everything is made from scratch with wonderful attention to detail. Now I really want to go back to try the beefalo and other lunch and dinner items. It looks like my sister in Vermont is going to have to tolerate more frequent visits from her Connecticut brother.

There are diners that are the real deal: classic railway style, all gleaming chrome and worn formica, an artifact from an age when everybody smoked before, during and after their meals. And then there are«prefab» places, seemingly springing up like a context-free mushroom, devoid of place or past. Bob’s is in the latter category, but that’s only going to bug you if you’re a diner cultist. Forge on, check out the giant menu. Plenty of burger choices celebrating«beefalo»(bison/beef cattle cross). These were pronounced very juicy but strangely devoid of flavor. House made hash for the win! Long strands of corned beef, nicely sauteed onions. I bypassed the hollandaise option, but in hindsight I’d say go for it. What does one drink with a «backwards dinner»(aka breakfast for dinner)? Can you pair a wine with hash(white? red? sparkling?)? I went with Vermont’s Official Beer — Switchback, and was happy. Only a little sad on the way out when I saw a poster touting that Citizen Cider is now available at Bob’s. Personal practice suggests that cider is THE beverage to choose to compliment a backwards dinner. Our lovely young inked waitress was unflappable in the face of this table of 13 or so. Props to her for dealing with complicated check breakouts, people arriving at different times, etc. She’s a pro at a very young age.

We were actually really impressed with this place! We have affectionately nicknamed it Chrome Bob but the breakfast was delicious! The waitress, who was so incredibly friendly, told us the corned beef hash was the best ever tasted. She was right! SOOOOO goooood!!! Definitely worth the stop!

Visiting family for the holidays from NYC. The prices were perfect and the food was great! Adorable atmosphere and sweet staff. There were 7 of us and it accommodated well. $ 1PBR!!! Only problem is the little table juke boxes ate our quarters and didn’t work. We tried 2 of them.

Food was very good and came out fast. Just passing through town-never been anywhere around here before-and this diner made our journey much more pleasurable. It was very crowded and this looked like a real local place. Definitely stop by for some home-good-feeling breakfast or lunch!

Solid diner with great service. Came here before heading to the outlets on a weekday morning — the locals were already set up at a big table when we walked in, so we grabbed a booth. I ordered an omelette with sausage, onions, peppers and Cabot cheese — very good! My boyfriend ordered one of the skillets and loved it. The coffee was also pretty decent for a diner. Cash only.
