Judith & her lovely staff will assist you in finding truly beautiful & high quality yarn. Judith is super sweet, patient and has a lot of expertise. I picked up a premium hand painted yarn, spun from kid mohair, super fine alpaca & mulberry silk by ROWAN, a South African company. I also purchased precision wooden knitting needles turned from North American White Birch(available in US sizes 7 – 17) made by Serendipity(made in Rhode Island). The needles are smooth, light and easy to work with. Yarns For Your Soul sources high quality materials so you can create pieces that will last and be enjoyed for many years. Happy knitting.

I have to say after treking out to the store from Bennington, I was really disappointed. Maybe it’s because I have an unbelievably awesome yarn store at home. One of the first things that bothered me is that my friends and I were asked about three times if we needed anything. That kind of thing always drives me nuts. There also really weren’t too many yarns I was interested in. I’ve never been a huge fan of Noro and this store had it in abundance. I really didn’t like the way the store was set up. The aisles were extremely narrow and cramped. Anyways, if you need a yarn fix and you’re in the area, it’s certainly good for that.

Lovely yarn shop with varied selections of high end to medium quality yarns: Rowan, Noro, Nashua, Disriga, Karabella, Debbie Bliss, Cascade, Colinette, Artyarns, Ironstone and Berocco. Many hand crafted needles in precious woods and unique buttons are available. Excellent selection of the newest couture knitting books as well as discounted knitwear magazines from the US and Europe. I could not resist the German magazine, Rebecca, which has gorgeous knit patterns that come with an additional English translation. I also bought a few Rowan books, a Gedifria book and one Fiber Trend baby pattern. It took all my willpower to hold off choosing any of the many awesome new knitting books on the shelves. The shop owner Judith, runs knitting workshops at Stratton Mountain, Mill House on the Village Common. She also has a large comfortable couch with a TV set up in front of it. Perfect for my Husband to relax on and watch Sunday football, leaving me and my gf to our druthers in perusing what the shop had to offer. Smart lady. Nice shop.
