Ordered a chopped steak sandwich this weekend. It was $ 7.95 and came with your choice of side. I got onion rings which were very good but the chopped steak was just insulting. How can you justify serving someone a sandwich like this? It may have had one sliver of meat and one slice of cheese. Pretty much the most pathetic sandwich I’ve ever been served.

Its a great local place, nothing fancy but what they have is made well, and the service couldn’t be friendlier. They also have hand dipped icecream.

Stopped by one afternoon while in the area. They have pretty standard faire here, subs, wraps, burgers, and awesome milkshakes & ice cream. Dishes were served quickly, and prices were fair. I think $ 4.25 for a kids meal? The meals, hotdog & chicken nuggets w/fries were packaged in a sort of 1950’s paper convertible car, so that got the kids excited. The restaurant is themed around the locals school districts sports teams, the Northeastern Bobcats. It sports the local colors of Black & Orange, which excited my older son because he inherited a York Little league shirt from a co-worker.

Me and my wife love this place! The first thing you notice when you walk in is high schoolers working, the reason for this is for kids trying to get into business and it is like an internship for them. Everyone is friendly and the creamery ice cream is awesome! Pricing is reasonable. They also recently built a patio and whatnot behind the building, very nice to sit back there. Highly recommend to check out if you want great ice cream!

I have had ice cream here on two occasions and lunch once. Ice cream is great… I’ve had a milkshake with peanut butter ice cream, and always delish. Creamy, thick, and fantastic. Last week colleagues and I went for lunch. We all had the day’s special– chicken salad on a croissant w/fries and a drink. The chicken salad was fresh, flavorful, and chunky. Topped with lettuce and tomato the sandwich was great. Fries were hot and tasty. Service is friendly and fun. The Creamery has worked with Northeastern High School in Manchester(full disclosure: I’m the principal) to create opportunities for student involvement. Most of the employees are students, and a student«board of directors» helps guide the direction of the shop. So far it is doing great and it is a fantastic addition to Manchester/Mt. Wolf area.
