My company received one of their menus in the mail, so I decided to give them a try. One thing I really liked was you can order online, so I did, plus they deliver. The website was easy to maneuver — I paid the bill and was able to add the tip. At the designated time, the driver arrived with my hot food. My order was a plain cheese pizza and a small steak stromboli. Both food items were good. The pizza crust was thin, light and cooked perfectly. For the price ($ 12.49), I believe the stromboli could have had more steak in it, but it was also good. Their tomato sauce was good and not overseasoned with oregano. I too support the local mom and pop stores, so I would definitely order from here again.

My husband and I moved just a couple minutes down the street from Paradise and have passed it on numerous occasions, never mustering up the courage to try their food because of the building’s appearance. Boy was that a big mistake. Food is delicious!
Definitely would recommend any of the pretzel-​bolis and mac n’ cheese bites (if you’re looking for something to share or snack on!)
Staff is polite, ordering online is a possibility including — delivery/​carryout, and coupons are available. Pretty sure we just found our go-​to pizza place.

Paradise Pizza is the girl with supermodel looks who has no idea how beautiful she is. If Paradise Pizza were in an 80s movie, she’d wear glasses and a ponytail for half the movie, then «blossom» with some contact lenses and a down-​hairdo.
I’ve had pizza up and down the East Coast — New York, Philly, DC, wherever people say pizza is good. People talk about the greatness of Grimaldi’s and Bleecker St. Pizza in New York or 2 Amy’s in DC… Paradise Pizza is, no joke, on that level. I have a friend who grew up in NYC all her life, and I’d tell her about how this place beats New York pizza. She’d make fun of me for my high praise of it. When she visited me in York last year, I forced her to try some of this pizza. She sheepishly admitted it was amazing.
I eat at Paradise whenever I come home to York.

Previously known at Primo Pizza Express, Paradise Pizza Express is a solid choice. It’s a local business, which I support philosophically… it employs a bunch of local young people, which is a solid good for the community… and their pizza is very good and reasonably priced.
Better than a chain, with faster delivery and comparable prices. Winner.
