After a morning walk in Manchester with the dogs and scenic drive around the rural area we stumbled upon idyllic downtown Manchester hungry and eager to enjoy breakfast outdoors. This was the only open place and looked cute so we popped in. The space houses this place(breakfast and lunch) and a tavern(dinner and drinks) and is small, dark and cozy. The menu has a good selection with breakfast(served all day) written on the back panel of the menu. With two tables outside not being in use we made our way to the bar where we were greeted by a mopey waitress. She just kind of looked at us and so I said, «Hi, we haven’t been here before,» to which she asked us if we wanted to eat in or takeout. We said eat outside to which she said, «technically I can’t serve you out there,». We said we’d get it to go and eat it outside. I also ordered coffee and after about five minutes she told me where to get it. By the time I made my cup our food was ready and we moved outside. The tables are pretty dirty but not horrible. The breakfast sandwiches were okay but poorly constructed. They were lacking cheese. If I were in town again I’d stop by but I wouldn’t make a special trip.

The staff was friendly and their breakfast fare was good. The prices were also very reasonable.

My wife and I were sightseeing with our two boys in Manchester when we stumbled upon the Coffee Mill Café. What a pleasant surprise. The staff was extremely attentive(they made you feel like they were welcoming them into your house) and the food was great. We focused on breakfast food. The omelets were great as were the pancakes. If you’re ever in Manchester, check it out.
