Joe fixed my heel of my leather ankle boots perfectly. It was around Christmas and he fixed them fast. I was very impressed at how well he fixed my heel and how reasonable his prices are. I will definitely bring the rest of my shoes that need repair to him.

I have been going to Joe’s Shoe Service for well over 20 years. Service has always been excellent! As another reviewer stated, Joe is a true people person — always friendly, cheerful and helpful. Over the years, he has re-​heeled /​resoled many of my favorite shoes, replaced zippers on coats & a hockey bag, & re-​sewed a boat cover. I can’t speak more highly of Joe, and the work that he does!

I’ve lived in Manchester area for 11 years and I have been going to Joe’s Shoe Service pretty much that whole time.
Joe had a smaller store front a few doors down, and business must be good, because he moved to a bigger and brighter location in the same plaza.
Many of my friends are surprised when I tell them to take their bags/​shoes/​belts to a cobbler. They look at me like I’m crazy. I tell them for under $ 10 they can pretty much get their favorite shoes or accessory fixed and they’re hooked just like me.
Joe has repaired/​brought back to life many of my shoes. If he can’t fix them, then it’s time for a new pair.
Joe is always pleasant, professional, and he does great work. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
If you don’t want to blow money on new shoes and accessories just because you’ve worn out your stuff from wear, Joe’s your man.

Nice to see an old fashioned business like a shoe shop thriving in this economy. Despite the fact that Joe is located in a sad strip mall in a declining commercial town, his small business is thriving as good as any possibly could.
I was referred to Joe’s by the local hockey arena. Indeed, Joe will apparently fix anything that can be sewn back together, hockey equipment included! I had three trouble spots on various pieces of equipment, and the seams he put on there appear professional and strong. We shall see just how strong in the months to come.
$ 20 was my total, a very reasonable price indeed for this type of repair. Only knock is the turnaround time, which was six days… Perhaps next time I’ll ask if he can provide quicker service. Joe is a very nice guy, so I’m sure he’d be willing to try if you need your items in a pinch.

Charismatic, personable, talented… just a few words that come to mind when I think of Joe’s Shoe Service. The owner is not only one of the friendliest people you will ever meet, he is incredibly skilled. Being a «people» person myself, I really value owners that make it a point to genuinely ask how their customers are doing, and really get to know them.
The first time I visited his store was actually because my then puppy had chewed right through the leather handle of a bag I had just received as a gift. He fixed it and it looked as good as new for $ 10. Over the last few years, he has brought life back to several pairs of shoes for me, a service I wish I knew about in college! Boy were all those nights at the bar (and those walks home!!) rough on my shoes… and they usually ended up in the trash after a year or so.

Great business. I have gone here a few times for various reasons. First being to get a shoe polish for a unique colored pair of leather boots I had just purchased. Let me say that this shop has an extensive selection of shoe polishes, waxes, and creams. So many different brands, varieties, and colors. All of which are priced very fairly. I have also gotten new heels on leather boots here and they came out great. They were ready on time and looked good as new. Again, the price seemed fair. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend this shop for any shoe needs you might have.
