Came in while waiting for an appointment. Nice little coffee shop. Had a blueberry turnover and some coffee, great service.

After reading some positive reviews I stopped by when I was in the area. Got some butter cookies and a cinnamon roll. The roll was fresh but only average. One kind of cookie was stale and the other was just ok. Both had a bitter aftertaste which usually indicates aluminum baking powder. Overall I’d say thus bakery really isn’t very good and sells old cookies.

It’s pretty good whatever you order is gonna be good in that place and the staff are super nice and funny it’s just how limited the food is and maybe it was just the time of day or season but there just wasnt enough selections.

Good neighborhood bakery on the Eastside of Manchester, corner of Lake Avenue and Hall Street. I’ve stopped in here a few times to grab a cup of coffee and a sweet bakery item. This«not so fancy» Greek American bakery has an old school atmosphere with counter, open kitchen, and a glass display case of small baked goods. They sell items such as cakes, pies, meat pies(pork, salmon, chicken), quiche, cookies, brownies, fruit squares, whoopie pies, eclairs, muffins, fruit turnovers, cinnamon rolls, and Greek specialties(peta, spinach pie, baklava, yogurt spice cake, katalfi, pastichio), and more. Fresh brewed New England Coffee is also available too. The prices here are very reasonable, a bargain! Some items such as the meat pies, 48 hour notice may be required, so call ahead. The pies can made«ready to bake» or they can«cook it out» and it’s ready to heat and serve. The bakery items I’ve had were pretty good. The baklava($ 1.50) is sweet, but not too sweet. The apple turnover($ 1.25) is made in a flaky pie crust instead of puff pastry. The brownie($ 1.25) has a soft texture. I enjoy the cinnamon rolls($ 1.25), which go the best with my coffee($ 1.25 for a large). On the last visit, I called in advance an order for a «cooked out» Salmon Pie($ 12.95) to serve for dinner, which had a bit of a pungent smell opening the box, a dense mix of salmon & potatoes baked in a flaky pie crust. The salmon pie went pretty well with macaroni & cheese and garden salad. However, I tried to serve the salmon pie to my folks who took a whiff and said«no thanks.» HOURS: 7AM-5PM(Tues-Fri); 7AM-1PM(Sat); Closed Sun & Mon.
