Now this place is interesting… I went there to have my son’s very high computer cleaned of a nasty virus. I found the place because I was a client of the guy who started the company, a local from Glastonbury. They used to do house calls here. He has always had good staff and very reasonable pricing. Call ahead for appointment.
I passed it a few times far down Main Street, but found it eventually. Even the Entrance is hidden in the back & it was a loooooong walkup with a very heavy computer. It was hard to find it in the building, too.
I was happy with their communication and the expert young men working there. I felt it was honest work done right. Good advice, too. They even have free email tuneup specials for clients. I’d go again, for sure. It’s a no frills startup, but gets the job done correctly.

I’ve used them several times and have always been satisfied. They have gone out of their way for me.

I took my computer in because I was having several performance issues. I can’t lie, this wasn’t a magic fix. But what I did receive was help from patient technicians who were willing to work with me.
They were able to fix the original issue with my laptop and then even helped me a few weeks later with a second, resulting problem.
Long story short, I had to work with the technicians, they needed to know from me what the story was, but we were able to completely fix all the issues I was having. Hardware and software are both in their areas of competency.
Regarding the previous reviewer’s comments, I was treated with respect and was able to work with everyone I met. I wouldn’t leave anything I wanted laying around for three months, but that doesn’t excuse trashing a machine. Again, this was not my experience, and I strongly recommend PC Tech Service.

Very scary. Dropped of a computer that had a password encryption and I was assured they would be able to trouble shoot it. Three months later I was told they threw away my computer! After phone calls back and forth I was told they «located» my computer. I was told to pickup my unit, they left it outside in pieces! Even worse, they had given me someone elses harddrive and a faulty motherboard!
Yikes! beware! Now proceeding with legal action against them.
