I would highly recommend this store for anyone looking to buy middle eastern food products! The selection is great, the location is convenient and the people are nice as can be. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner a couple days after they moved locations, and he was extremely helpful and pleasant!

It was fun looking at all the Middle Eastern foods. I bought a bottle of orange blossom water, and I will be back.

Went back this summer. The restaurant was closed — they said the lady managing it had left, though they were expecting to re-open in a couple of weeks. The whole place seemed like a sad shadow of its former self. There was an energy to the place a couple of years ago, the shelves looked well-stocked, there were customers milling about… but at this last visit it seemed rather dirty and dingy and barren.

There are a variety of packaged foods not available elsewhere BUT beware. All the refrigerated peynar cheeses were expired… some for months and months. One package that I picked up was covered with goo that left a vile smell on my hands. Many items throughout the store have no prices marked on the packages or shelving. There was very little fresh produce. The store was dusty, dingy and none too clean. I won’t be going back.

Perfect middle eastern shop for your needs. They specialize in foods of that region and have nearly all the basics from India to the mediterranean, even saw Goya on the shelves. The bagged spices were very reasonable with all the big names known through the region. Rice and grains well represented and they have bulk sizes. There was a butcher counter and lunch counter there, too which I have not tried yet. Overall I am pleased with this place and the items they stock. Staff was very friendly as well.

Exceptionally friendly and meticulously clean. Both the store and the restaurant were excellent. The schwarma was about $ 6 and fed two of us with no problem. The store side has a great selection of Middle Eastern products. The frozen section has the best selection of prepared Indian meals in the area. I typically get Deep Malai Kofta. I usually pay $ 5.79 in Boston. It was only $ 2.99 at Spice Center. I wish they had more Turkish products. They seem to focus on Lebanese.

I took my family there right after the holidays for shwarma and falafel sandwiches. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I’ve recommended it to friends and co-wokers. They have expanded the seating area, so I will be going in more often for falafel. Today, I was on the West side and I went to Ali Baba’s for a falafel wrap. It was very good, but it was not as good as the wrap at the Spice Center. The Spice Center puts babaganoush and hummus in their falafel wrap. I am more drawn to the Spice Center because their store sells ethnic foods. Ali Baba’s is a beautiful store, but it sells organic products at prices that are more expensive than other parts of town. These two stores are jointly owned. My recommendation is to shop and eat at The Spice Center.

Great store for picking up all your ethnic foods and spices. I found everything that I was looking for. They also had a butcher in the back that has cuts of lamb, beef, and goat. Prices are good here.

This is a pretty neat little spot in Manchester. It is primarily a grocery store for ethnic foods — it has a great selection of Middle Easter and Indian, as well as a butcher shop in back. It’s got some recent press as a restaurant though. I went their with my family and it’s really not a restaurant, but a kind o a la carte sandwich deal. There are a few counters and 5 stools, so it’s a pretty small place. The food is pretty fantastic though, with the main attractions being chicken or beef Shawarma, or falafel wraps. There are some other options too, but this is really what you should be getting. If you’re looking for a quick sandwich for lunch or grabbing something to go, this is a great authentic option that tastes great on the cheap($ 5, or $ 4 for vegetarian). Highly recommended, as long as you’re not expecting a sit-down restaurant.
