Yuck. Ordered the Crab meat ragoons, they were soggy and had no crab meat in them. Pure cream cheese, plus I found plastic inside one of the ragoons. Also ordered the orange chicken, which was way over cooked, dry, and was way too sweet. Definitely would not recommend.

I ordered here about a month ago when I first moved to town. We ordered 2 pupu platters for two. It took over an hour for delivery. When the driver finally arrived he didn’t have any change or the large duck sauce I was charged for. While I was waiting for the driver to come back with my change i could hear another person yelling at him from the car to hurry up. After this whole ordeal the food was completely cold. I called and spoke to a woman at the front desk, she said if we brought the sack she would refund us. We did return it and they did refund us including the tip we gave to the driver. This is the only reason I gave it a two star rating instead of one.

I have not ordered from here for about six months so i ordered on 4÷1÷2016 @ 6 pm. I ordered chicken fingers(greasy and under cooked) and pork lo mein(tasteless) and chicken fried rice(greasy and tasteless). I’m not sure what happen but usually its pretty good. Hope they were just having a bad night!

We love this place and have never had a bad meal here. Our favorite dish is the white meat general tao’s chicken with pork fried rice. Their veggie dishes are also outstanding. The service is prompt and friendly. We’ve never had to wait for a table, even during busier times. We enjoy going out to eat there, but their takeout service is so convenient as well AND they deliver! Best Chinese in Manchester, by far.

Best Chinese food in Manchester. Period. The food is rich and flavorful, and everything is fresh. The service is prompt and friendly, and the meal comes with oolong tea. You can get some really Americanized dishes if you like, but there are also some more unique things on the menu so it’s win-win for everybody. They also deliver, which is great if you live in the area!

The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I ordered a pu-pu platter for two and the portions where on the small side. That being said the food quality here is really good.

Rated D for ‘Disappointing’. Went for lunch with three friends on a Wednesday. I chose because it was one of the better Unilocal reviewed assessments, 4 star overall, and I like Szechuan/Hunan style as do my friends. We each ordered from the Luncheon Specials menu that offered soup, rice(pork fried or white) an appetizer(egg roll or chicken wing). The hot and sour soup was the high point of the meal, deserving of 4 stars in it self. The egg roll was dry and very tough it seemed, not only the wrapper but the cabbage. It was finely shreaded, reminiscent of unraveled hemp rope. The flavor was mild/bland. My Hunan Beef was fair. The beef was tender with a nice texture and in sufficient quantity for a lunch special. It was overly soyed(salty). The Hunan sauce was recognizable but undistinguished, more a dull version rather than deliciously assaulting the palate. The shrimp with lobster sauce included several smaller shrimp that looked freshly prepared. The shrimp lo mein was undistinguished and rested in a pool of oil on the serving plate. The chicken with mixed vegetables was bland as to be flavorless. The caveat: it was a slow Wednesday at lunch time. My experience is that if you want to get the best of a Chinese restaurant then go on Friday or Saturday evening where one is sure to get the top line chef.

Worst Chinese I have ever had. I ordered a Pu Pu platter for 3 people and there was enough food for one. Also I ordered Crab Rangoons and they were so raw that the were completely white and mushy. The rice was cold. There was not any soy sauce included. And they are very over priced I paid $ 49 for low quality and amounts of food. The food was so bad that I had to call and complain to them myself and the lady on the phone told me that I’m only comparing the food to my past dining experiences. This was unacceptable.

Just had Szechuan House for the first time last week. We ordered the white meat General Chao’s chicken, pork fried rice, and crab rangoon. Everything had great flavor and tasted really fresh. The General Chao’s chicken was not heavily breaded like it usually is which was not what we expected, but it was delicious nonetheless. My only criticism was that the crab rangoon seemed a little under fried for my liking, but it is very possible that they softened in the time it took to be delivered. We ordered on a Friday night and were told we would have the food in 45 minutes which actually turned out to be more like 25, happily. Overall, they had good food with quick and quality service. Will order again!

We came here after visiting the Currier Museum, based on the Unilocal reviews, and we were very happy with the food and service. It looks kinda scary from the outside, in its tired strip mall, but inside it was really nice. We had egg rolls, fried rice, garlic tofu, and chow mein, among a few other things, and we were really happy with all of it. Fair prices, too.

Went to this restaurant solo on 12⁄28 after finding my nail place closed on a Sunday(Nails to Perfection). The place was empty but the phones were ringing off the hook due to their delivery option. I ordered the pork fried rice and Kung Bao Shrimp, both of which tasted fresh and delicious with hefty portion sizes. Easily could have been shared between two. I asked for a box to take the leftovers home, and the lady took the food in the back to package it for me. I did not ask for tea however they put a put on the table and it was fantastic, traditional for these restaurants(not green tea though). The rice was very fresh, 75% of the pork was real meaty and the other 25% was fatty so I pushed that to the side. The shrimp was medium sized and fresh, with an abundance of peppers and onions. The sauce was not too thick and medium to high spiciness. I asked for hot oil to put on my pork fried rice. The rice was perfectly cooked. The waitress was timely and brought pineapple slices over with the check. Overall 19 $ and I got two meals out of it. Still tasted great the day after when I ate it for lunch. I would definitely recommend this place.

One of the better Chinese restaurants in southern NH. Nothing fancy on their menu but they are on point with their flavor and cooking of the original dishes. They have a lot of space and never a wait to sit!

I saw that this place delivered and I was excited because it was the closest Chinese place to my house and it had the best reviews! I called and placed an appetizer of crab rangoons and beef teriyaki. She told me it would take a half an hour!!! How long does it take to make those and drive over?! I wasn’t expecting it to take longer than 15 mins. I hope it is worth it So they brought it to me in 20 mins. Somehow he ended up right outside my door. I’m in a secure building where you have to be buzzed in. So I don’t understand that. The meal cost $ 20 including tip! I don’t get how it was so expensive because each thing was about $ 7 so it should have been around $ 14! The beef teriyaki was okay! I’ve had better. And the crab rangoons were okay. Not what I was expecting since I like them a little more crispier. All in all this is an okay place. Not sure if I would go back. Maybe I’ll see what other places are around.

They delivered the wrong order. I called three times to alert them to the mistake(and to see if I could get the rest of the food I had already paid for) and they never picked up the phone. I won’t order from this place again.

Searched for the highest-rated chinese restaurant visiting NH for work. Glad I stop by this spot. Very solid. Here is the summary of my review: Service: 4 Food overall: 4.1 1. Wonton soup: 4 2. General Tso’s chicken: 4.3(surprisingly good) 3. Beef Lo mien: 3.9 By the way, the serving is large for $ 7 lunch specials. They also serve crispy wide noodles for you to dip into duck sauce. Always a plus. Def beats the brown thinner, barely crispy ones that many chinese spots serve… Aside from a lady across my booth coughing her lungs out, successful find overall!

If this is the best Chinese food in Manchester, then I’m taking a plane to China(not that they really eat the food American’s refer to as Chinese). I arrived here late Saturday afternoon. There were not many diners which should have meant that our server would have time to, you know, serve us. Not the case. I find most Chinese restaurants to have great service minus the attitude. Our server didn’t have attitude; but, he also was never around to exhibit any as we rarely saw him. The food… first, I was surprised to find that there were no lunch or dinner combinations specials which meant everything was a la carte which I’m not opposed to if the food is expecially good. I ordered crispy rice and chicken soup which was good. The eggrolls I ordered were mostly vegetables. I would have to engage the services of a bloodhound in order to find any meat; and, even then the hound would have had trouble. The food was standard to poor. The service was dreadful when the restaurant was empty. I can’t imagine the service if this restaurant actually ever gets busy. For good Chinese food, I’ll continue to frequent Heng Wong on Mammoth Road. For sit-down Chinese in Manchester, my search continues.
