Disappointed– leftover stale bagel. I was excited to get there when they first opened thinking that id get a bagel fresh and hot out of the oven– I should have known when they tried to toast it without my asking

Been there a few times. Always leave smiling. the food is great and the workers are always friendly. They actually have a worker there they call ben & jerry. He’s funny and his deli sandwiches are the best I’ve tasted in awhile. The wait is about average but worth it once you get a taste of it. Its exactly what manchester needs. Hope they decide to stay around awile. Its refreshing to sit and relax and enjoy a sandwich. The only problem i see is the parking lot is kind of small but not hard to deal with. Hope everyone gets to experience the New York style bagels.

Steve’s Bagels bagels are awesomesauce! The egg sandwhich is fantastic… freshly cooked egg! And plentiful bacon cooked perfectly. The cream cheese on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired though. I think it was the sundried tomato, garlic cream cheese and the vegetable cream cheese I tried. They both had barely any of the flavors of their namesake. The veggie cream cheese only seemed to have pepper, no other veggie. There should be more of the ingredients and chopped more fine to get the flavor. Poor hubby looked on their menu posted, saw chocolate chip bagel and chocolate chip cream cheese. Wanted both(ya he’s got that sweet tooth) but they said they didn’t have either. Soooo be careful to look at the labels on the shelves and not on the menu to see whats in stock. There seems to be some kinks in the ordering and pricing still but the staff is ever so nice. They also have some other like homemade muffins and pastries that are next on my list.

A egg white and cheese bagel from Steve’s has become a staple in my diet. I find myself heading across town at least once a week to get my fix! The staff is super friendly and(although I stick to my same boring sandwich) I am always interested to hear about what new offerings they have. I noticed a few comments about the service being on the slow side– I’d recommend calling in your order if you are in a hurry. I can’t say I’ve had an issue but on the days I’m short on time I call ahead just to be safe!

This place is right up the road from my job! It’s very convenient and the food is so fresh and yummy. I have only made it here for lunch but I plan a breakfast trip very soon! My only suggestion is they should have a variety of sides like a 3 bean salad or mac or potato or something… I heard one of the owners say they are going to soon so looking forward to that! Try this place out!

I’m torn between 3 and 4 stars, but I’ll give the benefit of the doubt. Over the weekend, I finally had a chance to stop in to check out Steve’s, while I was in the area running errands. I ordered half a dozen bagels for my husband and I, with plans to have a bagel extravaganza all weekend: bagel sandwiches for lunch, bagels for breakfast and figured we would have a couple left over that I would freeze. We ordered the Asiago, cheddar, salt and everything bagels. They were all delicious and super fresh! We went through all of them over the course of the weekend… A little embarrassed to say. I stopped again, this time for lunch, on Monday. I ordered a tuna melt with lettuce and tomato on an Asiago bagel. It tasted delicious, but this visit was the reason I would only give 3 stars. The menu states that all lunch sandwiches come with chips and a pickle. I got the feeling that if I hadn’t asked, I wouldn’t have gotten them, and it took quite a while for the man at the counter to put together and ring up my order, even though my sandwich was ready and sitting in a bag on the counter.(I called ahead.)When I finally sat down to eat my sandwich I opened it to find a sloppy mess. The tuna had leaked through the bottom, so the bottom half of the bagel was sitting in a mess of tuna, which made it soggy and a little disappointing. I may have been a little hangry at the time because I had just spent over 3 hours in doctors appointments while 7.5 months pregnant… But I was really looking forward to that sandwich being all that I had hoped. Overall, I like Steve’s, but I think they need to polish their presentation and delivery just a tad. Food is delicious though, and I will be back.

Definitely so much better than dunkin’s nasty breakfast. So glad I finally got to try them. I got a bacon, egg, and cheese on an asiago bagel and it was amazing! Only suggestion I could give is for one person to take orders and one to cash people out so there isn’t confusion. I have already recommended several people here!

This place is great!!! The food was delicious– I had the Mama Mia sandwich and it was so so yummy: eggplant, cheese, red peppers and arugula with balsamic dressing. Perfection. The bagels are made right there and you can watch them pop out of the machine as you eat. The service was great too! Super friendly staff, very kind, very caring about their patrons. We’re so excited to have just moved close to them. We will most definitely be regulars!

I visited Steve’s Bagels on my lunch break today and I have to say, the bagels are perfect! A light crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. I ordered a Lox bagel with tomato and cream cheese and it was delicious! I ordered a clam chowder on the side, which was also great, absolutely loaded with clam and potatoes. The cranberry nut muffins taste just the way my mother makes them from scratch! Steve’s Bagels is a very clean establishment, and the staff is incredibly nice. Definitely the best bagel joint in the area, I’ll be visiting again soon!

Absolutely delicious bagels, the best I’ve had in the area. The breakfast sandwiches especially are marvelous and a great deal for how filling they are. I’ve been eating here about once per week since they opened. The owner seems very responsive to feedback. The first week they were open I went in and was disappointed they were not offering salt bagels so he promised me he would make some the following week; he did. When they are out of a particular type of bagel early in the day he’s even offered to make some fresh. In terms of service, the employees there are extraordinarily friendly and kind. However, the place is still going through some growing pains. The first few times there when I wanted to order both a deli sandwich and a breakfast sandwich I essentially had to wait in line twice since you can’t order both at the same place(even though the restaurant is relatively small). I also had a few deli sandwiches that were sliced with the plastic wrap still on. As some reviewers have stated the sandwiches(especially deli) can take a bit of time, but I find that ordering ahead of time and picking up is a fantastic option.

This is what a bagel is supposed to look like and taste like! Fantastic in every way. And the folks working here are friendly and helpful. We’ll be back… again, and again and again!

Closest thing to a NY style bagel in the area. The only problem I have here is that they automatically toast the bagel but real NY bagels don’t require toasting unless requested. I tried the everything bagel which was covered on both sides and had good flavor. Bagels were on the pricier side but will visit them again if in the area.

Their bagels are awesome, and the breakfast sandwiches are amazing. They’re cooked to order, so you get real eggs and bacon — none of that nasty microwaved stuff you’d get at Dunkin’ or Between Rounds.

Tried this for the first time a few weeks back on the morning of a decent snow fall. Service was kind of slow but understandable seeing as they were packed! I had lox and cream cheese on a fresh baked bagel. Absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to back and try the French toast bagel. Place is absolutely spotless, service was friendly, food was a+.

My first visit here was good, I went around 2 pm so there was no line and was greeted by a wicked nice woman working. I ordered sandwiches(one on a bagel and one on a roll) for my husband and I and they were delish! Not a huge sandwich so for the price paid for two sandwiches(just under $ 16) I thought it was a little pricey.

Food Quality: AMAZING! Authentic NY style bagels which are impossible to find. Scratch made cream cheese and salads which were fabulous. Service: They just opened so they are brand new– service was slow and lacked knowledge on the offerings. A little more training and time and I know this place will be great– it has a lot of potential! Looking forward to coming back after they work out the kinks.

Updated review. Since I wrote this initial review, the company has contacted me twice to give them another shot — which I appreciate — and even mentioned that they updated their pretzel bagel recipe which makes the bagels larger. I went back today and again asked for a BLT — still not on the menu, but this time there was no confusion about pricing(or what a BLT was) and the price I paid was much more reasonable($ 5 — I even added cheese). They were out of pretzel bagels — I choose an everything, and it was definitely very good. I will be back to try the new and improved pretzel bagel. My only last critique would be to add one more slice of bacon to the sandwich(I still think it was just 2 pieces.) who wouldn’t love more bacon? ;) Very excited to have a bagel shop in town, and They are still fairly new. I went in and asked for a BLT — something they do not have on the menu. They were blown away by my request and must have asked a handful of times if I was sure I wanted just bacon, lettuce and tomato. Yes. A BLT. When it came time to ring me out — they didn’t know what to charge — I heard them debating — ‘what are we going to charge her? — ‘I dunno — $ 7.00?’ — they concluded $ 7.00(total closer to $ 7.50) would be the price because(as they informed me) it was Boars Head Bacon. The same bacon, mind you, that is on their egg sandwiches — which were closer to $ 5.00. For the amount of bacon, and the price — not worth the sandwich. Didn’t even come with a pickle.

The bagels have decent flavor and plenty of variety of both bagels and cream cheese but the service is horrendous. Very slow, they asked me what my order was 4 times and still messed it up and made absolutely no attempt at rectifying the situation. They just handed me a bagel I clearly did not want and were perfectly OK with that. I’ve had a chance to go back, and while the service is still a bit messy the bagels are good. Will go back

I wish my review & photos could share the amazing aroma in this bagel shop! Savory & sweet bagel options are made each morning. All of your regular favorite flavors are waiting for you too. A plethora of options are available to enhance your chewy & crusty NYC-style bagel: griddle-cooked fresh eggs, several cream cheese flavors, lox, quality deli sandwiches, even a Fluffernutter. These bagels are the perfect combo of chewy inside and a light crust outside. Choosing is the hard part– enjoying is easy!
