Our waitress Sara D was the sweetest, she took care of my family, she was just wonderful. Thank you to the manager Mike for his help as well! We were here for Mother’s Day brunch as well. I just can’t say enough, they are amazing. The food is awsome, grounds are beautiful, and the service is outstandong!

The deck is a fun party area… The food is TERRIBLE!!! Was expecting decent food for being at a golf course, we were very disappointed.

When I used to live in NH this was the place to go with your friends and chill on the porch, listen to music and drink beer. So here I am with only 72 hours in NH, this was the logical place to have our friends come out and meet us. I guess we got lucky because they weren’t busy at all on a Monday night so we took over an entire section of the bar. Some of us got an appetizer platter that I picked off of which was pretty good. Our waitress was fantastic! We asked her for a couple different beers which she double checked and they didn’t have. Lo and behold! About 30 minutes later, she and the bartender found two six packs of Seadog Sunfish that we had asked about earlier! They pulled both out and left them for us!!! My drink was never empty before she would show up and double check if I needed another one. We had such a good time we practically closed the place!

Had a friends and family get together here for drinks after a long day. Unfortunately didn’t get to experience the golfing, but the bar was a good time. The most impressive thing was our request for SeaDog Sunfish beer. The server and bartender advised they were all out, but about 30 minutes in, the bartender came out with 26 packs and set them aside for us. He found them buried in the back and he was the hero of the evening! My father-in-law, wife, and I love that beer! It was nice to see some serious effort was made to find us some! We had the entire side of the bar to ourselves by the porch doors and our server was super attentive to our needs. We had a blast spending time with friends and family and we couldn’t have picked a better place to do it. Not too much selection for TVs and such, but I imagine it’s a great stop on between the front 9 and back 9 if you’re out golfing for the day.

Not sure what’s up with all the bad reviews. This place is fun, burger was good. Our waitress was cute and had no problem throwing sass back at my girlfriend’s dad(in a good way) who likes to clown. Good spot for a game/tunes.

Food was average for a CC but chef was very accommodating to special diet. Would definitely go back again. Indoor golf was fun too.

The atmosphere is nice, but this place has very average food. Last week I got the french dip sandwich made with prime rib. When I order that, I expect the meat to be reddish/pink– not grey. I specifically asked the waitress before I ordered it if the meat would be grey, and she said no. I explained to her that the last time I ordered a french dip at a restaurant the meat was grey, and she told me that probably means the meat was old. I literally said«if the meat is grey, I’ll send it back». Moments after that very conversation, my sandwich came out and it was GREY. Umm ok.

Atmosphere is great and fun to watch the game. But the food is another story. After getting the burger special we soon realized why it was a special. Completely inedible! I took two small bites and couldn’t stomach the rest. Of course I was still charged and the waitress didn’t bother to ask how it was or why it wasn’t eaten. Im assuming she knew. But $ 6.99 plus tax and tip leaves you w an $ 8 burger and they shouldn’t serve food like that. If it’s a special you are doing it to promote yourselves and get people to come in… Not encourage them to leave.

This place use to be great. I went last night with my parents and the service was good but the food was terrible. I have gone here many times over the past few years. I get the same thing often but last night it was totally different. My boyfriend got fettuccine alfredo and added blackened chicken. It came out with spaghetti and 1oz of tasteless chicken on it. The waitress said they never have fettachini and it’s a different pasta all the time.

We live and work really close to the Derryfield so I’ve experienced them at corporate events, lunch, and evening events. The food is good — not amazing but good. I’ve never been disappointed, except the salads could be better. The inside is roomy so you don’t feel crowded at lunch and the staff is nice. What I love about this place is the back deck that overlooks a beautiful golf course. You can sit in the sun or under the canopy and its a nice breeze. The corporate event room is spacious and has good audio visual capabilities and the staff are helpful if you have technical issues. Food at the events I’ve been to is average banquet quality and reasonably priced. Not every time, but often enough to comment, service can be slow. So if you’re in a hurry beware. But if you have the time and you’re having drinks on the deck, it’s nice to sit and talk without being rushed through dinner. I’ve also been here for live music events… These tend to fill up quickly and it turns into more of a bar/club scene that draws a 30 – 40’s crowd. The events were fun, but crowded and difficult to get a drink.

This was an awful experience. While sitting on their deck trying to enjoy the sun a huge fight broke out. It turns out, an off scheduled employee started the fight. I actually watched this man punch a woman in the face and knock her to the ground! Unbelievably, he was back at a table drinking after the police showed up and took everyone away! The management actually condoned this persons behavior! This is not a place that my girlfriends or I would ever return to again. Truly the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant.

UPDATE(6⁄2014): Since it was a very nice evening, my buddy and I headed to The Derryfield for dinner and cold drinks on the big outside deck. The inside restaurant was very quiet, but the deck was rockin’ out with live local music, no cover charge. I haven’t had dinner on the deck in 5 years, so it was like a reunion of where I used to have my outside dinners. There were a few bouncers in red shirts present to keep things in check. We sat up at the bar and ordered some drinks and got menus. We started out with the Ultimate Nachos($ 10.59), which came out very hot, a HUGE pile of warm tri color tortilla chips covered with lots of cheese, lettuce, salsa, and hearty meat & bean chili. We dove in and finished the very generous pile of nachos. We proclaim these nachos and the nachos at Billy’s as the Best Nachos in Manchester! For dinner, my buddy ordered the Pan Seared Haddock($ 13.99) with rice pilaf and fresh season vegetables(green beans, zucchini), which was pretty good. I ordered the Fish Tacos($ 11.99), which were 2 fish tacos(crispy battered haddock, lettuce, salsa, melted cheese stuffed in hard taco shells inside and a grilled soft shell tortilla on the outside. The side of cole slaw was very creamy, sweet, and on the wet side. The steak fries(wider than standard) were crisp outside and soft inside, salty tasting. The service at the bar was very attentive and prompt. I was given countless refills on the Diet Coke($ 1.99) and my buddy enjoyed 3 Tanquerey & Tonics($ 6.19 each). Also, when my big dinner plate of fish tacos, fries, and slaw arrived, some of the fries fell onto the counter. The staff promptly brought out a basket of fresh fries on the house, now that’s great customer service. We will be keeping The Derryfield on our dinner out rotation, especially on nice weather days. This restaurant offers good food and good portions at good prices. Adding the extra star back.

The Derryfield is a fun place for hanging out and watching the game, or just hanging out on the deck, listening to the band on a great summer day. It is the spot for meeting up with friends & family and enjoying some tasty apps or a great meal together. It is also THE place for having your next event — they do an outstanding job! Oh, and if you like to play golf, great course!

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a very long time. Most of the waitresses had their bra straps(or half of their bras) exposed or a hickey on their neck. They all looked hung over. I don’t know any other facility where jean shorts, mismatched white tanks tops, and messy buns are an acceptable uniform. We waited for about 10 minutes for a waitress to take our drink order. Our sandwiches easily took 30+ minutes. The chicken Caesar wrap had almost no caesar dressing on it. The chicken bacon ranch was completely missing the ranch. We asked for a water when we got our food and received it when the waitresses was clearing the plates. We heard the table behind us ask for specials(at 1:30 in the afternoon) to which the server informed them that they still had to be typed out. Upon exiting, we did not see a sign off to the side asking customers to walk a certain way around the bar. When a waitress saw us, she proceeded to yell at us. That was after we played a whole round of golf, ate at their restaurant, and were pleasant throughout our terrible meal. I have worked in restaurants for 8 years and it takes a lot for me to write a bad review, but this place was that bad. It appears that there is absolutely no management.

Nothing makes sense here. The online site makes you think this place is high end… It is far from. The food was only mediocre. The drink menu is from 1960. The bathrooms are a mess. The waitstaff was very helpful and very pleasant. The people watching however, is priceless. Quite the eclectic group of people.

Went here on a Sunday for dinner… BIGMISTAKE! Very noisy, everyone at the bar was yelling and talking loud… profanities shouted out. Not an enjoyable experience The food was OK. even though I didn’t get my meat medium but well done. Server seemed to be more interested in the bar crowd than us. Will probably go back when the patio is open.

We went here today for lunch because the weather was great. My in-laws were visiting also, so I thought it would be nice to sit on the deck and enjoy the weather. Three of our party ordered the Lobster Roll special because it was only $ 7.99! Wow! We even said to the waitress before we ordered how great the price was. When the check came they were $ 13.99 each. We asked the waitress what happened to $ 7.99. She said, «oh sorry, I’ll check with the manager». She came back and told us they made a mistake on the special list and thought all the misprints were removed. We had 3 menus and all said the same $ 7.99 price. Worse, the manager was a coward and sent the waitress over to do her dirty work. I was shocked they didn’t fix the check since it was their mistake and honor the price. Who does that when it’s their mistake? Won’t be going back!

We hit this place on a Friday night. It was packed with a mixed crowd. There was a decent live band, and the beer was cold. Not a bad take in on a Friday night in Manchvegas. We didn’t eat but saw some giant appetizers coming out of the kitchen.
