I have given this restaurant many, many tries… the food more often than not makes me ill.

There is a reason this is one of the top ten diners in the country and possibly higher. Outstanding food, service and prices. Great atmosphere, like a time warp.

Nice classic diner. Food is fresh and good, place is clean, and the prices are great. We had the hash browns and kielbasa with eggs and the French toast platter. It’s not an upscale place and it doesn’t pretend to be. It’s a bit like Denny’s but with a classic diner feel and you get to set and sit where famous people have been like Adam Sandler. Oh and it’s open 24 hours.

I still stand by my words and of the waitress who admitted the food was it all prepared fresh so the ignorant troll who attacked my spelling and grammar just because I exposed this place to bad go ask the people who work there someone who personally attacks someone’s spelling or in general shows that they are just a weak troll so fu to the freak who did not like the truth

This cozy little diner in the heart of Manchester New Hampshire is serving up all those homemade recipes and grub that you have grown to love since you where a kid! As you walk in its a seat yourself with badges of famous people who have shared your set and lots of historical pictures from around Manchester that grace the walls and some of the famous people that come by Adam sandler being a regular here as well. I have been here many times and from all hours of the day and night and always find the food comforting & delicious, the fried mac n cheese balls are great crispy on the outside an creamy n cheesy on the inside they are topped in a cheddar cheese sauce an are the size of tennis balls you get 2 fir under $ 5bucks and there’s plenty to share ! Ahh let’s move on to my favorite that my me’mer used to make the pork pie generously served up hot an in a crisp flaky crust topped with brown gravy an served up with your choice of 2 sides I had onion rings & hash browns both of which were crispy n fresh and great tasting! There burgers are awesome along with there chicken tenders ! The staff is prompt and pleasant giving you the lowdown on the daily specials an some favorites of there’s as well made me and my lady feel like old friends and ringing the bell to welcome travelers from far last night a couple from Maryland had come to visit so the bell rang out an everyone clapped an the staff all thanked them fir coming! Great place, great staff an most of all GREATFOOD! If your ever in Manchester make a stop anytime day or night at the REDARROWDINER!

Holy. Diner. Batman. wow a place on Guy Fieri’s list that is actually… AMAZING? Incredible. This place has the charm and longevity that accompanies the true diner-y feel. Often raved about by my bf, my first visit was last night. finally! upon entering you see a 50’s style diner with some modern adaptations to both menu and flow of the place. Neon lighting everywhere makes me rather happy and boosts the nostalgia of this place. Service was prompt and very friendly, made us feel right at home. If you are a first timer– get ready you are gonna get called out and a bell will be rang and you;ll be announced as a newbie — and if you like your city and state too. It was cool, last night a few people came in from Alabama. I spared myself the embarrassment but I thought it to be a cute and unique idea. Everything about this place is both cute and unique. especially the existence of a POUTINEMENU — within the expansive spiral bound menu YES there is a poutine menu! I feel like it was an answer to a prayer I made as a child. «please God, give us a menu with JUST poutine options». Thing you can get on them include kielbasa, bacon and chorizo! Insanity of the best kind. There are all kinds of options on the menu,(breakfast 24⁄7) excellent breakfast from what I’ve heard — and a bunch of different kinds of Eggs Benny, pancakes and french toast creations. Good choices for sides like fried mac n cheese(INCREDIBLE –see photos). I was once told you really can’t order anything bad on the menu because all of it is fantastic. I think this is a gross understatement. I had a classic burger piled with my favorites — it was cooked PERFECT — I mean PERFECTLY so much so that the cook should teach chefs at upscale steak houses on the proper doneness. My beau had the pork pie and loved its homestyle comfort slathered in gravy and hommade crust and out of control good onion rings. My handcut sweet potato fries were absolutely no lie — the BEST i’ve ever eaten. I could have just had a truckload of those fries — plain with no ketchup or any dipping sauce. Out of control. The environment is a casual one, with last call /after bar crowds making more entertainment(or annoyance depending on how you look at it haha) Its clear that an older generation/couple started this business and they carried their values, and cooking with heart and soul down through to their employees and it shows, brightly here. The nostalgia and just straight coolness oozes out of the cute pictures, clippings and local memorabilia in such a way that makes you feel like you belong there like its your grandma’s kitchen. Only downside is upon finishing your meal you realize theres really no place like this one and that all businesses should really follow the model of Red Arrow’s. Its been a long time since I’ve been astounded at all facets of the diner experience and overall blown away and expectations not surpassed, but like exploded. Even if its a bit of a drive, this place is 10000% worth it. You’ll find somethin you like on the menu! Its not been 24 hours since I walked in the door at Red Arrow — but I am unable to contain myself on wondering when I can return the soonest.

Great Food! Wonderful service. I loved the eggs Benedict. It is crowded and tight seating but the food is worth it!

It’s just diner food, I don’t get the hype. There’s absolutely nothing special or unique about it, other than it’s the only 24⁄7 eatery in Manchester. The chili is decent, very ketchup testing though. Not much else on the menu I’d recommend.

Just a good all-around 50’s-style diner. The menu is pretty standard diner-fare(breakfast, lunch and dinner) but it’s always been good. The only reason I stopped coming here was the size. It’s a very small diner and feels very cramped, even when it’s not that busy. When it is busy, forget about it! They have a very small doorway and no waiting area if the tables are all occupied. You’re just standing blocking the entrance and traffic-flow area. Luckily, they built a second Red Arrow in Londonderry right near my home, which is much larger and more comfortable, so now I go there for my Red Arrow fix. I will say what makes this diner stand out to me is the dessert portions! You order a «slice» of pie and they give you ¼ of a pie for the same price you’d expect anywhere else for a smaller slice.

A real gem in NH. Fantastic chili. Had a patty melt and cup of chili and both were incredible. So much food that I could not eat all of it and very reasonable pricing. Super friendly attentive service. You cannot go wrong here. Only drawback is the parking situation. Find a spot on the street and walk in.

Ate a late lunch here a few days ago. The food was perfect diner food — exactly what we were looking for. I had a mushroom Swiss burger, and it was amazing. My fiancé had the pastrami sandwich, which he said was really good. The eclairs are great, definitely save room for one, or get it to go. Service was a little slow, but it was just after the Sunday church crowd would have come through, so I’m assuming they were just catching up. We weren’t in a hurry, so it wasn’t a big deal. We’ll definitely be back if we are in the area again.

My boyfriend and I went here very late one night because we were looking for something to do at 10. We went here and we were pleased. The place has a lot of history which were both history nerds. Our server was nice and ecstatic for working at a restaurant that late. I was so happy they make poutine! You can’t find that in a lot of places, and it was wonderful! I also tried their famous chili, but for me it was on the sweet side, they do have a spicier one I believe. My boyfriend got pancakes and bacon and he was pleased. Our portions were huge, and the service was quick. We’re not fans of the location though, it doesn’t seem to be In a nice part of Manchester, so for that reason we may come back but probably at the Londonderry location.

This review is mainly about the service at the Manchester location. It’s best described as «hurry up and be ignored». The waitstaff seems to operate under the misapprehension we work for them for some odd reason. Are they aware that they work for tips? That the money we pay supports the business they work for? The food? WONDERFUL! The turkey club is a thing of deliciousness. The home made chips are WELL worth the extra charge. Fortunately, the quality of food is uniform throughout the three restaurants. Unless you have no choice, head to their Milford or Londonderry locations.

Okay, I’m just a huge fan of diners. Being from Philly, I’m used to the breakfast all day, club sandwich, open face turkey with neon yellow gravy type of place. Well, the Red Arrow goes beyond the hype of the political and celebrity visitors and puts out real true diner food and with real personality and kindness. Even though it was 2 in the afternoon, the gang pretty much wanted breakfast. Between us we had a ham florentine benny, pancakes and a cup o’bacon, chili(I know, not a traditional breakfast meal to most, but still breakfast), and a chili omelet. Awesome, awesome, awesome. Can’t believe we haven’t been here before and with the perfect diner menu, there were more things we need to get back to try — like all of lunch and all of dinner.

Went here on a Saturday midday recently. The place is small, but the line moved fast and we waited only 20 minutes. There are several cool photos of previous guests at the diner adorning the walls, so lots to look at and chat about while you wait. We were seated at the counter and the waitress was very attentive. She had a lot going on, but still moved around very efficiently and was super pleasant with a great sense of humor. I had a Reuben Sandwich and it was excellent. The cole slaw was truly exceptional. My daughter had the«deep fried» French toast. That’s right, they deep fry the French toast! She was very pleased with her choice. We would definitely return to The Red Arrow Diner.

As far as diners go, this is the best I’ve ever encountered. It’s small, quirky, famous, crowed, noisey and they serve straight up, greasy, American food. Think scrambled eggs, coffee, bacon, french fries, burgers, mac & cheese, pie slices and meatloaf. Those are the dished that keep this place going, year after year, after year. Best times to be at the Red Arrow would include the weekend breakfast hours or the late night drunk crowd hours. Any other time to eat here would be unacceptable(in my opinion). Go Red Arrow! You’re arguably the top most important restaurant in the city of Manchester, NH.

My favorite diner! This is a Manchester GEM! The atmosphere is so awesome in here I love reading all the history of the Diner on the walls. A lot of famous people have come here and have there names on the wall, or even sat where your sitting. Open 24 hours and always really friendly people working! The food ranges from breakfast-luck-dinner-desert options at all times! There Reece’s waffles are the Best!

Would have been a 5-star review if Jon hadn’t left! Best server ever! Food and service are always good. Expect a wait on most days unless you go at like 3pm on a Tuesday. They’re always really fast though. Just make sure you line up against the WHOLE length of the wall when waiting for a table to avoid getting yelled at by the help :)

Really fun place, but not all that impressed with the eggs Benedict I ordered which the server said was the best ever. It might have once been great, but once the fandom food people praised it they let go of needing to have good quality food. It is a great experience for first timers to the area and people are super friendly, but the potatoes and the eggs Benedict were pretty bad.
