Met up with large group for a late dinner. Our waitress was awesome, and was very accommodating with pulling the tables together to fit everybody. The food on the other hand… Nice presentation, lacking on flavor and quality of product. Too much breading, gristly meat, oily chicken wings, canned tasting gravy — the list goes on… They also didn’t have enough plates and glasses Hopefully our subpar visit, was a fluke.

Awesome spot! Jamaican cuisine was absolutely amazing! People were friendly and I would definitely visit this place again!

They have an eclectic array if beers on tap and a normal pub type of menu… Accented by some Jamaican flair. Pretty solid Caribbean stuff too. During football season they have great specials although their spelling leaves some to be desired.

Best beer selection in the city, hands down. Staff is well educated on the products they pour. Apps were good, but great beer makes everything taste better.

The food here has it’s own spin on classics, not always my favorite but if you’re looking for something a little different not a bad choice. Definitely a good choice if you’re looking to have a few beers, their drink specials are pretty good and the drinks are reasonably priced.

The oinkers are worth the trip here. There is a great beer selection and the staff has been great every time. The Jamaican theme combined with the pub atmosphere is weird, Mobutu it so works.

This place rocks. We got takeout here, so I can’t speak to the service and the atmosphere didn’t look great, but for comfort food takeout with an awesome Jamaican twist, this place is great. The portion sizes are generous and fairly cheap for the quality. The Monte Cristo is fantastic. Real ham steak and roast turkey with yummy jam, sharp gruyère cheese and good bread, all deep fried. Sounds like a heart attack waiting to happen, but ooh so good. The spicy pig is also great… Kind of like a Jamaican grilled cheese with lots of meat and a nice mango chutney for some sweet and heat. We’ll be back.

Not sure the last time this place cleaned their taps, but my brothers and I grabbed a couple beers here and right away we all could tell by the taste of our beers that something was wrong. Not much later that night we all got very sick.

We had a late lunch there on a week day. It made me a little nervous that it was pretty empty, but we decided to roll the dice since it was an odd time. Atmosphere is Irish pub and the menu is normal pub food EXCEPT the back of the menu is all Jamaican food. Apparently, there was a revamp of the menu. We got the friend green beans(pub) and fried plantains as apps. Decent. We decided to roll the dice again and order from the Jamaican menu… Snake eyes baby… Delicious. Jerk chicken is cooked perfectly from scratch(cooked from scratch per order) half a chicken on the grill. We also got the tripe and beans… Spicy and tasty. The roti(flat bread like naan) and veggies were all also perfectly cooked. Even the kids chicken and fries was unexpectedly awesome as there were 3 fresh chicken cutlets pounded and fried in their house batter. The prices were very decent to boot! Sometimes it pays to gamble…

I agree with the service being slow and awful reviews, I sat at the bar and waited over 5 minutes before I was even addressed while the bartender sat chatting with regulars. When I looked behind me at the open kitchen, I saw chicken bones on the floor of the restaurant and staff was walking by and ignoring them. I drank a beer and left and can’t imagine what goes on in the kitchen if they don’t even care about garbage laying around on the open floor of the place. I’ll not be back to find out.

Food is OK. But speed of service is among the slowest in town. Do not go there if you are on a lunch break or any kind of schedule.

Where to begin… the beer or the food? I guess beer…20 taps or so offer a large variety plus bottles. My beer of choice is 312 and I am lucky enough to find it here. They have a seasonal brew from a local joint named Milly’s and I often give it a try and have not been let down. The help is happy and friendly. They have been properly educated on the menu and have all the answers to my questions. Down home comfort food with a neat mix of Jamaican flair. The goat and ox tail are fantastic. Large portions and big sandwiches highlight a smart menu. For the money, the best thing on the menu is the oinkers. Best way to describe them is they are like a chicken wing, only they are pork. Delicious! In closing I should say that I come in on Saturday afternoon for lunch and Becky behind the bar is the best. Always on point with a freshie for me and a big laugh. Chris is one of the owners, he is very welcoming and treats me like a friend he has known for years. Great place, don’t skip it.

This bar is a really nice change from a lot if the bars in Manchester. It’s definitely nicer, cleaner and I like the crowd there. However the downsides to the bar is that the beers definitely seem more expensive there. Granted a lot of those beers are craft beers. The bartenders are great with beer suggestions and will definitely give you samples to try before you buy. I haven’t tried any of the food here so I can’t speak to it. Great vibe in the bar, definitely one of my favorites to go to. Bartenders are always nice.

Service and food is amazing! Jamaican food is the sweet spot but save room for the strawberry crack cake! Lots of beers on tap and a great selection of bottled beer. If you are looking for a chill place to catch a game and have some good grub check it out!

This is a great place. If you like the Chive, get the KCCO beer here! Only place in town! They are prepping for live music and have their food out in the open to see just how well it is prepared. Great experienced staff and Wed is half off draft beer and apps! Great place to watch the game!

Good atmosphere. Nice place to watch the games. Good beer selection. Food average at best. Service so so. Both meals I had featured dry poultry. Kitchen staff does a lot of texting. I recommend eating dinner before coming.

We stopped by The Pint for dinner on a busy weeknight. The place was almost filled up and the atmosphere was a bit noisy. We sat up at the bar and the bartender promptly took our drink orders and gave us menus. This pub offers 20 beers on tap and over 30 bottled beers, plus cocktails and non alcoholic drinks too. The food menu consists of sandwiches, paninis, burgers, salads, flatbread pizzas, appetizers, and several dinner entrees with Jamaican flair. Specials are posted near the front entrance. For a starter, we got the Pine Island Pretzel Sticks($ 2), 4 hot soft baked pretzel sticks(not salted) served with hot garlic butter for dipping. We also requested Grey Poupon for some kick. Very good! For dinner, the Port Royal Platter($ 13.25), a generous plate of baked haddock served on top of Jamaican rice & beans and topped with peppers & onions and brown stew gravy, served with fried plantains and a Port Royal Fritter(cod fish, peppers, onion, garlic & scallions). This dish had spicy and savory flavors. The Caprese Panini with Chicken($ 10.50) was pretty decent, which had thick tomato slices, mozzarella, & grilled chicken on grilled soft flatbread, served with one side(chose garlic mashed potatoes). The food overall on this visit was 3.5 stars. Though very busy, the place was fully staffed to handle the crowds. The service at the bar was very attentive. The food was served to us in a timely fashion. The bartender made sure my Diet Coke was kept full and refilled(several times). My buddy enjoyed 2 pints of Guinness with his dinner. Despite the several low star reviews here, we had a pretty darn good experience at The Pint on our initial recent visit.

I am very, very hard to displease. I am willing to forgive quite a bit. I also really, really want a bar in Manchester with good beer and decent food — a nice, non-club, non-gross bar to hang with friends and enjoy a good drink. Manchester desperately needs this. I was very much rooting for the Pint to be it, and oof, this is not that place. The renovations and atmosphere are spot on, but the rest is just bad. OK, not all bad — the beer selection is decent and would have been great had we(fiancé and I) both gotten the beers we ordered. Still, it’s hard to screw up beer that’s good to begin with. So that was good. I read the first review of this place and thought the temperature was an odd thing to mention. It is not, in fact, an odd thing to mention. It is ridiculously hot in there. It made me not at all in the mood to order anything other than a salad. But, unfortunately, we ordered more than a salad. The caprese«panini» was like a strange, cruel joke. I am all for roti bread, but it is simply not sandwich bread. It immediately disintegrated and left a weird(and unappetizing) mess through the wire basket onto the table. Inedible, even with fork and knife. We were pretty excited for tots, but unfortunately our nice waitress(or the kitchen, who knows) mistook the order for the flatbread with the same ingredients. Since the other main dish we ordered was a flatbread, this turned awkward real fast. The flatbread we actually ordered was pretty good. The other was not. Our waitress did mention that the staff had to do a beer tasting to understand what they’re serving. Points for this. I am an irredeemable eavesdropper and heard one party leave after no one came by to take an order and another who were less than happy with the food. When combined with our experience this is not awesome. I can — and have — explained away issues as newly opened jitters. These issues, meaning the food, seem pretty fundamental. Spotty service, temperature — hiccups like those are to be expected. Food that bad is another thing entirely. Two stars for atmosphere and beer selection.

Here at The Pint! I only have a limited experience here, mainly because as we walked in, we started to melt. As we waited for our beers, all of us proceeded to start sweating, and it wasn’t from the anticipation of trying their beers. Air is stifling. I can’t breathe. I may not finish this review before I pass out. Still waiting for beer… water…anything liquid would be fine. I think we’ve decided to leave.
