Tommy K’s

The food is good but the customer service is awful. I’ve ordered from this place 3 or 4 times this past week. I’ve requested delivery every time and there’s been no problem. I originally called their grand slam restaurant but they don’t deliver in my part of Manchester so They gave me the number to this place saying it was the same company and they deliver to my area. The reason I order from this place is because they have gluten free options. So today when I went to put my order in online I get a phone call saying oh we don’t deliver to your area your way to far out of our delivery area! I said excuse me but you’ve delivered to my house 3 or 4 times this weeks… How do you not deliver to my area. So the girl transfers me to some rude man and he says to me with a huge attitude you can come pick it up or we will deliver it to you today but it will be the last time. I canceled my order and will never order from this place again. The owner needs to get his stuff together and educate his employees.

Food is good, portions are huge, prices are right and staff is friendly. Sometimes they are a bit disorganized, especially if it is busy with take-​out, but we keep going back. Their entrée salads could easily feed two, I always add for a to go container as soon as I order to bring half home. The potato pizza is also delicious, 2 slices and I’m done.

Food is hit and miss. People I work with love the place. I threw in on lunch one day, got buffalo chicken fingers and fries, and I really enjoyed it. The buffalo chicken was cooked perfectly, they use a nice sauce with good flavor, and some decent heat to it.
Next time I ordered from them I tried their loaded baked potato pizza. Think Uno’s pizza skins. Instead of mashed potatoes, they use chunks of potato and the sour cream is applied as a sauce under the toppings rather than served on the side. Great in concept, and I love the pizza skins at Uno’s, so it seemed like a sure winner. Unfortunately, based on the texture and flavor of the chunks of potato, the potato is microwaved prior to baking on the pizza. The sour cream is mostly absorbed into the pie, or they don’t use enough. The result wasn’t impressive. I don’t like the flavor or texture of microwaved potatoes, or eating dry, fairly bland pizza. I took advantage of a coupon on this same order, for free breadsticks with a large pizza at menu price. The bread is excellent, and they attempted to season them, but the seasoning was burnt black and tasted burnt too.

If you like cold chicken soup and cold «fried fish» then this is the place for you! When we sent the fish back it returned to us in 2 minutes. I don’t know about you but microwave fish isn’t our thing! This place is terrible!!!

Really cool pizza shop/​sports bar. I happened to be staying at Manchester airport and found this place, glad I did! Super friendly staff and good eats. Pool table, darts ect looks like a fun place to be a regular if you’re local. If you’re staying near or laying over at MHT check this place out.

Nice place, friendly stuff, cozy atmosphere, appetizers were great but the calzone had too much cheese. I was able to eat only once slice.

I’ve had their food delivered twice. Both times, the order was delivered quite a while after the quoted time and I would call the food mediocre. They do not carry parmesan cheese with them when delivering pizza and honestly, I would skip the Pizza Florentine. However, I did like the Jalapeño Poppers, but if you want marinara instead of ranch, make sure to ask!

I only chose 4 stars because I’ve only had Tommy K’s pizza once, and that for delivery, but that time was great! We ordered a 3-​topping delivery pizza to the airport Best Western, using their online ordering system, and they got it there very quickly. The crust was light and tasty, cooked just right. They didn’t drown it in sauce, used plenty of cheese, and were generous with the toppings we selected. The online ordering system is easy to use — I even managed it on my phone. Tommy K’s is a great alternative when you’re working a convention at the Best Western and can’t get away to dine at The Yard.

Dinner was above par for the rest of my colleagues. They snacked on a succulent appetizer of backed mac-​n-​cheese bites and and good helping of mozzarella sticks. My order however was EXTREMELY below par as I wanted to order the chicken stir fry grinder with American cheese (which sounded delicious) and what was delivered to me was a gyro with American cheese … How to the two sound the same is beyond me? I can’t fathom it. I guess you have to spell out your order …

I am all about second chances! I went back, my Wife and I had a really good time. The service was great and the FOOD was great. Tommy was there and we talked about my last visit. He was a gracious owner. I am happy to try again.

We had steak tip dinner, lamb dinner and chicken tender dinner. Kitchen was short handed so salads took a long time to come out. Fresh ingredients and good dressing. All meats were fresh and flavorful. Veggies with lamb and steak tips were good. Mashed potatoes not good and the gravy was horrible. Kitchen cooked steak tips too little and lamb too much. Think they reversed the temperatures. Good portions. Sauces for tenders were prepackaged which didn’t impress. Will try again to see how other foods are.

Just went to tommy k’s for lunch with my boyfriend and we really enjoyed it. We both ordered subs, they were HUGE and delicious! Really well made. And the seasoning on the French fries was so so good. Fast and pleasant service, clean, we will definitely be coming back again!

Tommy K’s has great pizza, great chicken tenders, and great service. A+++

My husband and I tried Tommy K’s for lunch on ⁷⁄₁₇. Our waitress spoke too fast to be clearly understood and walked away without ever giving us time to even ask for extra napkins. She clearly needs to be better trained to deal well with customers. She picked up our glasses by grabbing the top rims, then added ice and beverages. VERY UNSANITARY MOVE! She took an order from a nearby table with her back to them as she cleaned up another table. She and the another server were much too casual, sloppy. I asked the difference between gyro and soulvaki. She said soulvaki is all veggies. WRONG! Learned later that soulvaki can be all veggies, but typically is served with pork. While our gyros were good the servers alone have discouraged us from ever eating at Tommy K’s again. Management must be aware of their inept staff, but don’t care.

My boyfriend and I were flying home from Manchester the next day. We were staying at the Super 8, and didn’t want to drive far for dinner, so we decided to come to Tommy K’s, which is next door. They’ve recently opened. When we got there, most of the patrons were seated at the bar, but we opted for a table.
I ordered their chicken wings appetizer and the bf ordered a gyro. It turned out his was the better choice. I like my wings and all, but there were 10, so it was a challenge for me to finish them. I thought they were on the spicy side, but the waitress had informed me of that. They were also a bit saltier than I’d like, but then again, what do you expect from pub food?
I gave them four stars because I like the service. Our waitress/​bartender was friendly and smiled easily. My friend ordered a Manhattan, which our waitress didn’t know how to make. She came to us and told him that she doesn’t know how to make one because no one has ordered one from her before. She said that she’s used to work at less classy establishments where no one orders a Manhattan. I thought that was a funny comment, but at least she was honest. My bf ended up explaining to her how to make one. Anyway, according to him, the drink was a bit more diluted than he’d like, but it was decent for a first time. She ended up charging him a very reasonable price for the drink, which I thought was very fair. If I’m ever in Manchester, NH again, I would definitely come back here.

Just got home with two calzones, and I’ll begin with the positive; the chicken parm calzone was good!
The negatives: I walked in, nowhere to pick up a takeout other than getting cozy with the patrons at the bar, I was ignored a few times, a bartender was able to ask me if they could help me then helped other people at the bar. When my food finally came out she had other things going on, poured some drinks and took my card to run, delivered a table or two, poured more drinks ran my card. But she was very pleasant, and looked busy so I’m trying not to fault her on that, everyone else that ignored me was my issue.
The bigger negative: my loaded baked potato calzone had uncooked potatoes in it. I’ve had it before and loved it, but undercooked or not even cooked foods turn me off totally. This place doesn’t deserve a 2^nd chance, but I may give one.

Rude on the phone. I ordered delivery 1.5 hours ago and haven’t received yet. I might never receive. Of course they charged my card already. I called twice to see where they are. Ruder each time. Ps i live 5 min from them.

The owner of grand slam has just revamped the old carbels into a new rap around bar with 10 draft system with some of his favorite items from grand slam rapped into a whole lot of new items on the
menu. The food here it great.
