Ate here for lunch. We got crabmeat aunt gratin, French onion soup, eggplant casserole, fried goat cheese salad. It was delicious. I can’t complain about any of it. Simply delicious.

The food is awesome. Price is very reasonable and you get a lot for it. All pasta dishes are tasty and I am sure you bring some home. Just hope that you don’t sit next to a snobby Mandeville resident as they are very loud!!!

We LOVE Café Lynn! My family and I have eaten here quite a few times and each experience is better than the last. The service is always excellent. You are made to feel like part of the family from the second you walk in the door. No matter who is working you are always greated with a very warm and welcoming hello as soon as you walk in. The owners and staff obviously take their jobs very seriously and always put the needs of the customer first. The food is just as empressive as the service. We try something new every time we eat here and have yet to be anything but pleased. The lamb chops are my favorite so far. They just seem to melt in your mouth. We also have an extremely picky eater in our family and the staff is always more than happy to accommodate them. While the menu may seem a bit pricy at first you soon realize that a side of vegetables and potatoes as well as a side sale are all included in the price of the meal and it turns out be be a great bang for your buck. They also have a beautiful bar that my husband and I like to sit at to drink and eat as well. The bartenders are super friendly and entertaining. It is so refreshing to see a small bistro-like restaurant take care of their customers the way that Café Lynn does. We like to think it’s the north shores best kept secret. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy great food and service in a beautiful setting. Keep up the great work guys!

The décor is gorgeous, a great place to stop in for drinks or a nice glass of wine after work. Get the marinated crab claws appetizer, you won’t be disappointed! The best filet is made in the kitchen here, it melts in your mouth with a warm brandy peppercorn sauce on it! If you want a light lunch, get the lump crabmeat salad and get the Vidalia onion vinaigrette dressing. Finally, when you have family in town and want a private dining experience, they have a special room for that too. Ask Brandi to pair the wine with your meal, she knows her stuff! I LOVE this place and the staff in it will treat you like family.

Food was average at best. What was very frustrating was my Dewar’s Scotch with«a splash of club soda» came with a 2.00 upcharge; our salads with blue cheese dressing came with a 1.00 upcharge as does their Ceasar dressing«…because of the ingredients». None of these picayunish charges were mentioned or on the menu. Will not go back because of the nickle and diming on the bill. The 6.00 upcharge cost them a frequent dinner. Bill was 145.00 for two.

More than an hour wait for very pedestrian blue cheese salad. Not sure there was blue cheese even on it

Café Lyn needs a higher rating! This is a great restaurant, with great food. Could be a little more reasonable on the pricing, but for what you get, it isn’t bad.

I wanted to like this place more than I did. I had heard good things from Tom Fitzmorris, so I figured it’d be really good. It was just okay. For the first time in a while, I sat down and looked at a menu and was not really interested in anything on it. I ended up getting a fish special, which was good, but not great. The corn and crab bisque was great though, so that was definitely a positive. The overall experience was just not that memorable. The prices here means everything should be great IMO. My wife got some wine and we walked out for about $ 80. Sure, it was a nice dinner, but I thought the food would be better. It’s almost as if it’s fancy for the sake of being fancy. The décor I’m sure is better than the old Burger King they were located in, but it just continued the«fancy for sake of being fancy» feel. It may have looked and sounded fancy, but I didn’t get the feeling it actually was. PROTIP: the parking lot behind the jewelry store does NOT connect, so don’t turn down the side street thinking you can still get to the Café Lynn parking lot.

Regular patrons with consistently excellent service and food. However the Friday before Mother’s Day was disappointing. Service was slow and inattentive… And while our appetizer was superb as was our salad… The entrees were less than anticipated… The soft shell crab was over breaded … Bland … And cold… With a mediocre browned butter sauce… Which we had to ask for extra as the dish presented dry. The filet au poivre was excellent but the sides of Brabant potatoes green beans asparagus and snow peas were under done … No doubt a consequence of a deluge of patrons… Our order came out after other tables were served despite reservations and being seated first… Obviously disorganized … Rushed… And forgotten. Some acknowledgement on the part of service or management would have been appreciated but it came late and after the fact and desperate. Very disappointing overall… Considering the cost and the importance of the occasion.
