I went with my family and each of us ordered something different. Everything was excellent, from drinks to dessert. We had fried green tomatoes, duck, brisket, steak, and the fish. The pecan pie was outstanding. They were very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely return. Highly recommended, especially if you have visitors.

Not so good I’m sorry to say. After we sat for 15 minutes, we had to ask for a waiter. Two of the four meals were cold and had to be sent back to be reheated. And the waitress kinda rushed us. She didn’t mean to, she just wasn’t experienced with the pace of fine dining. But, the food was good once it was finally ready to eat.

The food, the setting, the service was all amazing! We started with the oysters, they were perfect, cooked just right and the butter/garlic sauce was delicious. My husband has the fried catfish and smothered okra, the fish was fresh and flakey, the batter not too thick. I had the seafood pasta, crawfish and shrimp were fresh and the andouille perfect, the sauce had just the right amount of cream without being too heavy. For dessert we shared the pecan pie and bananas foster bread pudding, they were perfect.

We had an excellent meal with oysters and Cajun duck. The ambience was awesome and the layout of the space is intimate but not pretentious. I felt that I was eating in someone’s home I was enjoying some of the best authentic cooking that one could prepare.

Excellent food, atmosphere, and service! Everything is very well priced and the presentation is flawless. My group got the onion rings, stuffed mushrooms, house salads, sautéed seafood platter, fried catfish, and brisket popoy. There wasn’t one item that we didn’t thoroughly enjoy! I’m so surprised that this place hasn’t generated a bigger audience. The chef even came out and made sure everything was they way we wanted. We will definitely be back!

Had the chargrilled oysters, excellent! Then seafood gumbo and Caesar salad. Top notch then finished with the Duck we’ll seasoned and moist. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a very high end flavor!

We found this restaurant by accident, we’re new to the area, and were looking for a non seafood restaurant to eat at, and we scored big time. I had the roasted duck, with a side of potato dujour, and my wife had the crispy gulf fish ponchartrain with the crispy boudin balls, we shared the praline crusted cheesecake. I have to say that this was probably the happiest I’ve ever been, while paying $ 80 for an impromptu meal.

We’re so lucky to have such a great restaurant in the area. Definitely 1st class. You could bring the family but I prefer this place for just my husband and I. Perfect location too. It’s on the corner across from OLL. The chef prepares to perfection.

Honestly don’t know how this place has stayed open for a year(?) and would be surprised if they make it to their 2nd anniversary. We went here when it was Juniper and I don’t see much difference in the interior nor in the food now that it’s Jubilee. The main problem we had with our experience was the wait staff. There were two very young(high school aged?) girls as waitresses. I’m not sure about the other one, but ours knew very little about the menu or wine list. In a fine dining establishment, when you order a cabernet sauvignon you expect the waitress to know what that is and not have to explain it’s a type of red wine. Right? Or is it just me? Any way, hubby got the truffle fries and said they were«good». I had the cauliflower cream soup and I’d rate it somewhere between good and very good. For our entrees with had the grilled Mahi and the crispy redfish. The mahi was overcooked and dry with way too much seasoning rub on the outside. It was also sitting in a puddle of sauce that was more like oil. I’d give this 2 maybe 2 ½ stars out of 5. Hubby said the crispy redfish was very good. We did not order dessert as the ambience in the restaurant is just plain sad and we wanted to leave. We were there on a Saturday night and after a while of being the only table there, one other table was seated. It was eerily quiet and you have to wonder why a nice restaurant in Mandeville would have virtually no diners on a Saturday night. On a positive note, we took our 19 month old with us and they did not give us any attitude about having a baby. I guess since there was no one else there, it didn’t matter if she got a bit rambunctious. Nothing about Jubilee peaked our interest enough to return. It’s sad to see a restaurant with potential faltering but they are really missing the mark on service. When we left there was a hostess at the stand and she didn’t even tell us goodbye and thanks for coming in. Just waved at our daughter(who waved at her first). If I was the hostess and I only had one or two tables, I would make a point to thank the heck out of them when they left and invite them to come back. On a related note, with only one table, why wouldn’t the chef or kitchen manager come out and ask how was the food and thank us for coming in? So overall a «Meh» experience. Not worth the price of admission.

We ate the oysters for our appetizer. They were wonderful and HUGE! I had the fish and loved it. My boyfriend had the lamb chops and wouldn’t stop knawing on the bones. He NEVER does that!!! Definitely going back.

Had a wonderful dinner with friends. The staff was professional yet personable and assisted with choices we made from the food paired with wine to dessert.

Last Saturday we decided to venture out and find the Jubilee restaurant in Mandeville. We had heard that the former Chef from Broussard’s in the French Quarter was in their kitchen. We loved Broussard’s. We found this perfect little neighborhood restaurant to be just a block or so from Lake Pontchartrain. Tables were elegantly set, the menu was varied enough to please anyone’s taste and the service was impeccable. If you want a great meal, friendly service and modest pricing, you have to try Jubilee. We are already planning our next trip there for an evening dinner out. Can’t wait. Tom and Maureen

Nice place! Went for lunch, split a salad and poboy. Very tasty. Reasonable prices especially for a white table cloth place. Service was excellent. Will have to return for the Sunday Brunch.
