Not my fave! You can buy really stylish, nice, NEW children’s clothing for your child at the same price as what these guys want for their USED stuff! They have garage sale quality stuff for high prices. I was not happy with what I bought for my kids. I regretted buying anything from these guys.

You know one of the worst things of having a kid, the amount of stuff you go through. Hand me downs are great, because imagine a world without recycled kid stuff? We’d have to wade thru toddler shirts and junked out exersaucers along the roads. I’ve always been somewhat offended at how much clothes for little kids cost. The size of the clothes is smaller than adult sized clothes, yet they are not much cheaper. Weird. The great thing about Once Upon A Child is that you can buy stuff that’s gently used on the cheap. Don’t worry about paying $ 25 for toddler shoes, you can get them here for $ 4. The amount of clothes and toys you can get here is fantastic. Some of the clothes even have tags, because a lot of people will give you clothes that you forget to take back or use before it’s too late. If you want to save some cash to put towards the kid’s college fund, go to this place and buy that used tricycle and give a good new home to that VTech playset that you didn’t want to spend $ 55 on because you know your kid may only play with it for three months. They also buy your used stuff, but according to my wife, she’d rather donate it than take their offers, so sellers beware. We always seem to manage to find someone to give our used stuff to, so it’s not a huge deal for us. The bottom line though is that OUaC seriously can save you money, and make you feel like you’re helping the planet at the same time.

This place leaves a little to be desired. I feel like its kind of a huge cluttered mess. Trying to squeeze through the racks to see if anything is worth buying almost isn’t worth it because everything is so jammed in there. I really dont feel like they pay people a fair price for their items. I have sold things here before just to see them mark them up 3 times what they paid me and sell them=/ I understand they née to stay in business but that doesn’t seem reasonable.

Once Upon a Child is a great place to buy children’s clothing, toys, etc. This store is very useful for parents or anyone wishing to buy high end items for kids and not spend a fortune. It is also useful if you want to sell some of your child’s old items that they never wore, or are in good shape. The clothing section is not what one would expect. While these items are technically pre-owned, most of the items look as if they have never been worn. Many still have tags and cost significantly less than new. There are also some real bargains to be found in the toy and stroller sections. There was a $ 300 jogging stroller that looked brand new for $ 75. There were also motorized cars, bouncers, high chairs, and all other kinds of kid type items. I highly recommend this store. If you’re a guy, you will feel out of place(when I went, I was the only guy), but for the money you save, who cares?

Consignment store that carries clean kids’ items in excellent condition for a fraction of the price of buying new. Definitely worth checking here before you purchase new.
