This is quite possibly the worst gas station in Mandeville. The one thing this station has going for it is the convenient location. It is located on the corner of Florida and Girod so despite knowing it isn’t the best place, I often end up stopping here. The pumps are not set up to be particularly easy to navigate. For some reason people don’t pull up all the way, or are blocking the entrances which makes it hard to fuel up. That wouldn’t be so hard to deal with if it weren’t for the odd crowds that seem to congregate here. Here are some of the things I’ve encountered: On one occasion there was a large group of juveniles loitering outside. I can’t be sure, but it looked like they were harassing people coming in and out of the store. They were pretty obnoxious. On my most recent visit some guy in a mustang was incessantly revving his engine and subjecting me to ridiculously loud exhaust. I could go one and on about the issues that I encounter here, but you get the idea. I understand that the station can’t have full responsibility for their patrons, but no other station has such a regular occurrence of obnoxious people or behavior. It never fails when I come here that there is some issue. I will probably end up here at some point again because of the location. I just hope that they work out a way to make it a more pleasant place to fuel up.
