Martha Graham once said; «Great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion.» As soon as you walk into the Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Manhasset, the instructors’ love of dance is not only infectious, but they are also driven and enthusiastic to pass this joy on to each of their students. The four instructors are all individuals in their own rite, but by coming together they create a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Eugene’s cheerful wit combined with Marisa’s classic elegance, Alex’s patience for perfection and Tara’s sweet zest for life make each lesson utterly enjoyable and a pleasant way to end your evening.
A little over a year ago I started taking dance lessons at this studio to fulfill a desire to explore my creative soul. Dancing not only enabled me to live my truth and express my feelings, but helped me further embrace life’s blessings. This studio is truly a special place and I highly recommend pursuing lessons here. It is a place where you’ll not only learn the technique of dance well, but your life will be enriched by being exposed to the art of dance.
