Lincar Salon

Lino is fantastic! It took me years when I moved back to New York to find someone that I trusted. He has a natural talent when it comes to hair. Great with both styling and color. The staff is wonderful as well. Cannot say enough about this salon.

We went here for styling before my sister-​in-​laws wedding (the bride and bridal party had their own in-​hotel option). I wanted curls and something interesting. I’m in my mid-​30s, and I should have guessed by the clientele that this might be a more mature salon, if you will. However, I let the person assigned to me do what they thought would look good. The curls came out well (better than expected), though I was tossed over to an assistant for that part. Then, my hair was put half up. Though this looked okay from the back, my crown was propped up with a big ol’ pouf… definitely not age appropriate or in style. I also didn’t like being told that this made me look softer (leading me to wonder if I looked hard???). Anyways, all and all, the hairstyle actually worked with my vintage looking dress. However, I would definitely not recommend the salon to anyone under 45 or those looking for a more youthful look.

I have been going to Caryn for years for my color from different shades of blonde to warm browns shes the best !! She even did corrective coloring to bring my hair back from three to four shades fixing someone elses mistakes… Leno gives amazing blowout and haircuts they are the perfect team !

Most amazing staff ! Everyone who works at Lincar Salon is extremely talented and friendly. You can never have a bad hair day after leaving this salon !

I have been weary to post a review because it forces me to acknowledge that my gorgeous auburn hair is not God given, but in fact Lincar given and will be as long as I have it.
Caryn Kinney may not know it, but I consider her to be a chemical engineer as well as a joy to be around and I look forward to my appointments knowing I will be able to relax and always leave the salon looking and feeling better.
I cannot recommend this salon and the skills of the staff and owners more!
