Went to Big Wok for lunch today. Good as always. I did the 2 bowl trick so I would have to go back. Everyone there was very nice and polite. I’ll be back soon!

The food is really good and the customer service is great! The bread is my favorite part. Get the regular bowl and you get to take home the left overs! Awesome place

It is pretty much understood that when I ask my old coworkers out to dinner that is code for«hey wanna go to big wok?» Not much I need to say about tasty ayce Mongolian bbq with free rice/bread on the side. All the beef, lamb, chicken or pork you want with veggies, noodles and diy sauce. They even do gluten free on request by cleaning off the grill or using one they haven’t slathered noodles over.

Great selection of meats, veggies and sauces! Service is also nice, friendly and efficient. Don’t forget to ask for the complementary sesame bread!

Took my kids here for the first time and they were so mad I’d never taken them here before For once they were able to pile as much meat as they could onto their plates. We arrived at 4:30pm on Saturday, and by 5pm the place was super crowded. Not much ambiance, typical Mongolian Barbecue set up. Comfortable seating and very casual. Wait staff is adequate, though not very friendly. But for all the fresh veggies you can eat, with delicious sauces and lean cut meats, I can overlook the less than perfect service. We will definitely be back soon

Big Wok serves some darn good Mongolian B B Q. You can eat to your hearts or bellies content. The reason I like this place over others is the quality of the meats they use with very little fat! This place is busy but the line moves fast. Very reasonably priced considering the overall quality.

In my opinion, hands down the best Mongolian BBQ spot in the South Bay. The restaurant is very clean and all staff are friendly. This place does get very busy. I recommend going right when they open or closer to when they close. There’ve been times I’ve came during a busy rush and spent almost 30 minutes in line to have my food cooked. But… Worth the wait especially if you’re craving it. If you haven’t been here yet done hesitate!

Lots of food for a decent price. Tastes good too! You can get a large bowl or regular and you stack as many and as much frozen meat and fresh veggies.

Forget the white rice… just get that delicious sesame bread. Keep it coming! Can’t tell you how delicious that hot sesame bread is dipped into sauce and noodles. Yum yum yum You come in and get the AYCE. So if you have teenage boys or other bottomless pits of eating I would bring them here. I always see guys from the football/wrestling teams of the local high schools here. AYCE dine in is about $ 14. I like this place because they offer great meat selections: lamb(which you don’t normally find), beef, chicken, turkey, pork. All the usually veggie fixings, and delicious sauces. I always pile on a couple scoops of normal sauce, 1 hot, 1 lemon waters, 2 garlic scoops, 2 ginger water, then a nice sprinkling of cumin powder works great with the lamb meat. Remember to bring some dollars to tip the nice men cooking on the hot plates. You can order this to go… they’ll weigh your final order and charge you by the pound. You get rice and one sesame bread. I usually sub out rice for one more sesame bread. Any extras after that are an extra charge.

Came here with coworkers for a Friday lunch. One coworker was particularly craving for pan fried noodles so I recommended Big Wok. I made the right move. She said it’s the best place around company! Yay! Food is pretty good. thin cut meat(chicken, turkey, pork, beef, and lamb). I chose chicken, pork and beef. Would love to try the lamb next time. I’d say its good to get two bowls, one for meat and sauce, the other for veggie and noodles. They really have a pretty good veggie selections. I picked out spinach, mushroom, tomato, corn, broccoli, and tofu. If they have iceberg lettuce I would come back here everyday! I followed the instruction for Light sauce. Light in sodium, but I wanted it spicy! Spicy soy sauce, lemon water, garlic water, BBQ sauce, bbq oil and Dragon Chili Sauce makes an awesome flavor yet i don’t feel thirsty afterwards. Topped veggie bowl with noodles, it’s the wait time. Today was not too bad for us. Took about 15 minutes to get my food done off the grill. I love how they clean the grill for kids who can’t eat spicy food. The food is really good and hot. Sesame bread on table is surprisingly authentic to my Chinese palette. I am glad I can find something so traditional on the west side without having to drive in traffic to SGV area. Service is great. Prompted drink and water refill. No problem splitting our bill into 3 credit cards. I can understand the heat of this place now. This will become a popular lunch spot for our team: D

Always a great experience, however today really cemented their reputation, we had a going away lunch for 18 people, made the reservation the night before got there at 11am said we had a couple more people and there was no problem adding the extra table, The waitress are always on top of everything, making sure everyone has enough drinks, bread and rice. Super service, super easy for a large party and great food. Highly recommended A+

This is my favorite Mongolian BBQ place hands down. It is AYCE, the vegetables are fresh, and the meat is not too fatty. A friend said you leave with a food baby every time you eat here and I can certainly vouch for that! You pick your ingredients and sauce and the chefs grill it for you on a round, flat iron«big wok» Meat choices are thin cuts of chicken, pork, beef, turkey or lamb. Vegetable choices include spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, tomatoes, squash, tofu, bean sprouts, peppers, carrots, baby carrots, water chestnuts, and pineapple chunks. Sauces include regular BBQ, spicy BBQ, teriyaki, garlic water, ginger water, curry, and the spicy stuff. They have oil but I don’t think it’s necessary. Sides include white rice(definite filler) and crispy, toasted sesame bread pockets. I recommend getting 2 separate bowls when you get your food as the cooking time is different. Put your meat in 1 bowl and the vegetables and noodles in the other. Put the sauce on the meat portion. They do have some suggestions for how to make your sauce. I don’t like too much salt in my food so I use a little less of the BBQ sauce and I don’t add the oil(you get plenty from the noodles and the grill). You then bring your food to the grill and salivate as you watch them cook your food right in front of you. The smells are heavenly! Beware the fact that you can get some leftover taste from the person before you if the grill is ready for a rub down(hence less on the salty sauce is often better). They do try to clean it frequently to avoid this. No one leaves this place disappointed. There are unlimited refills on soda but only 1 refill on the flavored ice teas. No desserts other than corny fortune cookies, but I’m usually way too full for that and I always leave with a happy belly.

Came here with my fiancé for the first time the other week for dinner. Found out it was buffet style as soon as we walked in. It costs about $ 10-$ 13 per person, all you can eat. And its worth it. You get seated at a table, where a server will get your drinks for you, along with some rice and pastry to place at your table. When you’re ready you walk up, grab two bowls. Fill one with your meats, veggies, and sauces. The other with your noodles. Then get in line for the cooks to grill your food right infront of you! Took about 7 mins. The food was delicious. I devoured my plate, and wish I had room in my stomach to go for seconds.

Oh how I love ALLYOUCANEATMONGOLIANBBQ! Forget the food court at the mall when you can get it all you can eat for $ 14!(About $ 17 including tax and tip) I’ve been coming here with my family for a long time however I don’t get to make the trip out here. It’s a buffet style so you get to pick and choose your meats, veggies, and sauces. It gives you more variety than the mall and then you get to watch them cook it on the grill. It’s fun and delicious! They also have the best sesame biscuit bread! Sometimes I get too much on the first plate but I always have to get the second. It’s worth it. Some tips: Rip the sesame bread in half to make it into a pocket, and put your noodles and veggies in it. Another good way to eat it! Use two bowls: one for meat and the other for veggies and noodles and put sauce in each bowl. This way both the meat and the noodles have more flavor!

One of our favorite places to go. I love that you are able to add what you want and they cook it up. No messing it up that way. Totally recommend Big Wok to anyone.

have you ever had the one of the greatest mall food called Great Khan? this is very similar, except the asian lady in the counter is not looking at you nor tell you not to press the meat down… there are 4 types of meat: beef, chicken, pork and lamb. there are several types of vegetables and a whole lotta sauce… at first i disregard how much sauce went in, but when i follow examples of others and the menu, the food tasted sooooooo good… i usually use two bowls one for veggies and one for meat and noodles… the seating area is pretty generous and it does get filled up pretty quick during peak hours, come little early or later and you won’t have that problem. service is friendly and the staff is friendly… good place to go if you like Mongolian BBQ

3.5 stars rounded up. After a run on the Strand, my BF and I were looking to eat something nutritious and delicious and packed with veggies. We usually go for Mediterranean but just had that last week so wanted something different. We were actually on our way to a different restaurant, when we saw this place on the way, and my BF asked me to Unilocal it, and we saw 4 stars and he said that he’s always wanted to try it, so he made a u-turn, and there we were! The place had a good amount of people for a Monday at 8pm. It’s a spacious restaurant too, I can only imagine how busy it gets on the weekend since there was a good sized line of people wanting to have their food cooked. To my disappointment, I was told that it was all you can eat only, and it was $ 13.45/person. I’m not a fan of ayce, because I tend to eat too much, and it’s not anyone’s fault but my own, I know… I was hoping it was not all you can eat since I usually like to eat half my meal for dinner and bring the other half for lunch the next day, but not gonna happen here since as most ayce, we can’t bring home leftovers, which is definitely understandable. So now it’s time to approach the food. Overall, I was impressed with the selection, they had a great variety of meats and veggies. The only things missing that I noticed with kale, sweet potato or squash, and fresh garlic would have been nice. The first time I went to get food, it was kinda a hot mess as in there were serving utensils everywhere and they felt kinda sticky(gross!), and a lot of containers were almost empty and some of the veggies from one container were spilled into others. The sauces also didn’t look very appetizing. The second time I got food, the station looked better maintained-I hope that’s how they normally keep it. I recommend using two bowls, and loading up on veggies and meat! Also, don’t put too much teri sauce or it will be too salty! Overall, we enjoyed the food and service, and it was a great deal. I just felt that the beef got over cooked, and was kind of tough. I really enjoyed the sesame bread, but we didn’t touch our rice. I don’t foresee us coming here often since it’s overwhelming to be surrounded by so much food and causes me to eat more than I should… Again, my fault!

BESTMONGOLIANBBQ!!! Amazingly large food selection, big space so you never have to wait too long, and the price is unbeatable for all you can eat. Which is a nice style because you don’t feel pressures to fill your bowl to the rim. This is a shout out to impatient people in line who only want a few toppings and have to wait for you to put on a ton of toppings(which you are entitled to so go for it!)…your loud sighs just make me want to go even slower… and it feels so good…

I LOVE Mongolian BBQ so much! Especially when the sesame pocket bread comes along with it! I get so disappointed when that bread is not part of the meal… Anyway, this place — Came here for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. They have a huge variety of meat(turkey, chicken, pork, beef) along side various vegetables. Top it off with noodles(optional but do it) and then you basically follow the guidelines to make your dish spicy, or curried, or however you choose. There’s a gigantic hot stone where all the food gets cooked… and FAST. I would suggest getting the all-you-can-eat. And try different ways of making your stir-fry so that you can figure it out for the future. Rice is served with it, but I would say keep your carb intake for that bread! The meat will shrink a lot so load it up. Don’t expect great service but it does the job just right and all I ask is for a Mongolian BBQ spot with sesame bread to hit my area soon.

I love Mongolian BBQ. I remember my first time at Big Wok was way back in elementary school. I am surprised to say that it still looks the same! I went in for lunch and it was a little over $ 11 per person. You take a seat at your table and your server brings you a tub of rice and/or some sesame bread. Both are delicious and goes with the Mongolian BBQ. FOOD: Good and absolutely filling. It is AYCE and you can eat as much meat, vegetables, noodles, and rice as your heart desires. I always go with some beef, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, noodles, etc. I won’t bore you with the ingredients in my bowl. It is so good though! The whole process is easy. There is also a sauce station where you can season your noodles/food and make it as spicy as you like! They list some directions for you so it extremely simple. If you want extra heat like me, they do have a chili sauce that is placed on your table. SOGOOD! Afterwards, you go to a circular station where the cooks make your food right in front of you. This is such a different and entertaining dining experience. Trust me, you will love it and the food even more. SERVICE: Basically self serve but all of the servers bring the water consistently. PARKING: Lots and lots of parking.
