Solid Brazilian food. Ordered picanha plate with fried plantain and it came out hot and fresh. The owner is very kind and willing to serve you the authentic dishes from Brazil. It also has fresh juices that you will not get from other places like cashew juice which tasted amazing! Try this place when you are near South Bay.

Its our firsf time here and we’ve been meaning to try this place out. Everything we ordered were delish! The small .65 cents per piece stuff(each of them), the steak, the chicken skewer, and the soup were all good! The plantain, black beans and collard greens and man even the rice were as yummy too! We’ll come back for sure!

Not bad! I had the grilled chicken plate. It came with rice and beans and a choice of two sides. I ordered collard greens and yucca as my sides. Everything was good, I can see how some may think the chicken was too dry… but it had a great flavor. Brazuca is operated by what I perceived to be a husband and wife team(I apologize if you all are siblings), who are very nice.

I’m a big foodie but honestly I know very little about Brazilian food but I was hungry and I saw this little place so I decided to grab a quick bite and boy am I glad I chose this spot. OMG! The best food I’ve had anywhere in quiet a while! The beans are amazing! The bacon wrapped chicken is to die for and even the plain looking potato is amazing! This is going to be my place to cater out next party.

Very nice owner, but the price is on par with Silvios and almost no flavor. Copacabana is cheaper than both and very flavorful. So from what I know of Brazilian in this area– it’s 3rd down my list. I really wanted to like it here, but it Needs seasoning. Or something.

Awesome, family-owned business in the heart of chain restaurant city — Brazuca is a true gem of Manhattan Beach. I absolutely love Brazilian food and was super excited to see Brazuca pop up in the neighborhood recently. I’m in the area at least once a week, so I stop in for my little açai bowl on warm days. Nothing’s better than a freshly blended fruit snack/meal to keep your work day going! I love that everything is made to order too. Even if it takes a few minutes longer, the flavor boost is totally worth it. This place is small so I don’t recommend dining-in for groups bigger than three, mayyybe four. But considering it’s limited size, Brazuca is full of character — soccer games on TV, Brazilian flag art on the wall, delicious Brazilian snacks & desserts on display… you get the picture, it’s a cool place! I also love their exposed kitchen & prep space — it’s so clean, organized, and altogether makes Brazuca an even more comforting place to dine. I typically call ahead and take my açai bowl to-go so I haven’t yet explored the rest of their traditional plates. However last time I spotted passionfruit smoothies on the menu… Um, YUM. I look forward to visiting soon just for that potential deliciousness! If you’re in Manhattan Beach and in the mood for some authentic unique flavors, skip the overhyped DT eats and check out Brazuca instead. You won’t regret it.

Fantastic! Made to order authentic Brazillian food. The owner took our order and then went and cooked it. Took a while but that’s always better. Stroganoff was delicious as was the steak plate. Best collard greens I’ve ever had… they still had a great crunch to them and very garlicky. Fried egg was done perfectly. White rice was flavorful and fluffy and I could have drank a tub of the black beans. We also ordered the passion fruit smoothie… so refreshing! The owner even brought over a couple of free cheese bread balls… yum! We took our flan to go and it was amazing as well. Not a lot of tables but I’m guessing they do mainly take out here. In addition to main dishes and desserts they also have a case of fun little snacks that I’ll be sure to try next time. Worth a stop for take out if you’re in Manhattan Beach orr they deliver!

Beans were good. Rice was delicious! And the cheese bread was pretty good too. I also liked the guanabana shake. You can get it as water based or milk based. Go with the milk based smoothie styled shake! The chicken was a good size but a little dry. Not bad though. I would come back to eat here. Also, the guys working here were friendly. Plenty of parking. Brazuca is right next to Lido Bakery.

Sadly I wasn’t a fan. I ordered the picania meat with beans and something that looked like potatoes on the side. The meat tasted great but the Pineapple Mint drink was too sugary, potatoes smelled like onions and the beans with flour tasted odd. The cheese bread was worth it though.

Found this place by accident and decided to check it out. I’ve been to Brazil and my family is from there so it was a pleasant surprise finding this place. They have mini coxinhas and cheese bread which are really good. Had the picanha which was also pretty good. I think the best item was the beans. Served as a side but it was seasoned really well and very tasty. They also have juices which weren’t the best but still pretty refreshing.

This place is authentic Brazilian food at an affordable price with great service. Not to mention it is super healthy and they make it on the spot! Definitely recommend for a great meal. Also the mini coxinha is a MUSTTRY!

Just stopped in here for a quick bite rather than hitting up one of the big chains close by. My basic takeaway is that the restaurant is small with ok basic food, but is fairly overpriced for what you’re paying for. They designed the place to basically be a take-out spot with only two small tables in front of the display case. I was going to get a basic steak plate, but could not bring myself to pay $ 14 for a quick bite, which is what this place provides. I settled for the $ 12 chicken plate since I was already there. The food was basic. Good, but basic. The chicken was grilled just like if you put it on your BBQ at home. No real seasoning. White rice out of a steamer. The side of beans and plantains were the best part of the meal. I like that it is a healthy option, but you may as well join one of those food clubs for those prices. I prefer Café Brasil which has a far better atmosphere or Pampas Grill where you can fill up on tons of good quality Brazilian BBQ. Keep in mind, I’m comparing to quick, grab a bite sort of places. If it was an actual sit down restaurant, I would rate differently.

Great service and fast delivery. We had the chicken stroganoff which was super tasty, shredded white meat chicken in a delicious sauce and the steak plate with collard greens which were freshly sauteed and plantains. Dessert were little coconut and chocolate macaroons of some sort. The kids liked them :-). Four stars as it was a little on the salty side but you could really taste the freshness in the food. We’ll be back for sure!

The Unilocal reviews never said«dine in is for a max occupancy of FOUR people.» I gave it a try anyway. With my 3 sons, we could not fit at a table. My kids all ordered the steak, rice and beans. Their steaks were very small and way too much fat. I ordered the fish, rice and beans. I should have realized the fish was not going to be good when it was $ 2 cheaper than the steak. Plastic utensils and plastic water cups were a total surprise. More of a cafeteria than a restaurant. $ 60 for cafeteria food is NOT a good deal! The owner was very nice, gave us all a free juice but it was a «one try and not again» kind of place.

The chicken sandwich was not bad. Fairly inexpensive but you could tell when it came to the quality of the sandwich. Perhaps if I think to go back again another plate would be better.

Awesome appetizers; and the passion fruit juice is on point! If you come here at 11, I’d suggest be sure you have a bit of time to spare as I needed to wait a bit for preparation of the food. I had the steak sandwich with the fries however they were a bit soggy to my liking. The sandwich however was great. The meat was point as well.

I have never had Brazilian food before I came here and I’m proud to say that it is one of my favorite foods! I start out with the service. Not only did the staff briefly explain to me what each of the items on the menu were, they helped me understand and directed me towards something they thought I would like. and they were right. I ordered the original Brazuca Chicken Plate, which comes with rice and black beans. I also got another side of beans which is just beans with cassava flour, bacon, sausage, vinaigrette. I also got another side of fried yuca. The pricing was amazing for the amount of food I got, and I would definitely come back again just for the great prices. I have never tried any of these things before and for being the first time I was absolutely swooning, and I can’t wait to come back and try something different! The staff was awesome, welcoming, and very family oriented. I appreciated the atmosphere and really enjoyed being around everyone. The restaurant itself was also beautiful, clean, with a T. V in the front and select seating also. The environment was very casual and comforting. I will definitely be coming back and I will definitely be recommending this to friends and family. Thank you Brazuca!!!

Stopped by for the grand opening of Brazuca Brazilian Cuisine. I was greeted by many warm smiles and lots of yummy samples. I put in my order and waited about 20+ minutes for my skewer plate. The food was good. Very flavorful and filling. I would probably get an extra skewer next time because the entrée only comes with one. Also the passion fruit mouse was really yummy. You can tell there’s some kinks to be worked out which is understandable for a new place. Mostly in regards to the wait time. But I see a lot of potential. It’s probably best to call in your order and pick it up. I will definitely be back though!
