Great place. I’ve been here twice now with damaged tires and both times they patched up for free. I would have gladly paid for the service but I guess that’s just how they treat their customers. I will definitely be coming here if I have any car/​tire/​brake problems in the future.

The best tire service in Southern California! Free coffee and water while you wait. Plenty of food options nearby and they call you when your car is ready. Only waited 45 minutes, without an appointment. Very friendly staff! Will be back for all my tire needs! Thank you!

Excellent service for an excellent price! I needed a new rim and tire for a late model car, and Nadine at the desk took the extra time and trouble to find me a changeoff rim for half the cost as well as calling around to find my particular tire. They have connections to car rentals, so that part was easy too. Even though I had to wait a few days for the parts to come in because of holiday delays, they did all They could to help my experience be easy and not horribly expensive. The shop is incredibly busy, and the service is why. Great people!

I got a flat on the freeway the other day, and had AAA tow me here, since I had to replace all the rest of my tires anyhow. The staff was all friendly and got me processed really quickly. The woman who worked there was very attentive while I was waiting and gave me status updates every so often (even dragging in one of my other tires to show how badly it was worn). Glad I went here and would definitely return!

I would recommend Globe for all tire and auto repair needs. The staff is very friendly. I worked with Josh, who let me know where things stood as they tackled an electrical problem in my daughter‘s car.
You won‘t go wrong taking your car to Globe. They are a lot more than tires and wheels.

«Honest» and «auto repair» don’t usually go together in the same breath, but I can say without hesitation that Globe is the most honest repair shop in Manhattan Beach. We have been going to Globe for over 20 years and they are always fast, courteous and fair priced. Today they repaired my tire and refused to charge me. Where does that happen these days!

Went in for a slow leak, 20 minutes later and for $ 0 my tire was fixed. Will defiantly buy tires from them next time!

I had a fantastic experience here today. I caught a flat on the way to work and just Unilocaled for the closest tire repair place. Was so happy it happened to be this one. They fixed my tire in 15 mins (although they initially quoted an hour I was happily delighted). And the most insane thing was they did it for FREE and with a smile and didn’t stall around for a tip or anything. I was completely shocked by that as I usually have had to pay at least 30 dollars for a tire repair and wait a lot longer than I did here. Also it is really nice for an auto shop– they had free bottled waters for their customers and up to date women’s magazines which as a woman I could really appreciate. I will come here if I need to purchase tires. These folks were running on all cylinders (excuse the pun). Friendly, Quick and most importantly good. They really made my day.

The first time I was in here was this past December, everyone was extremely nice and helpful. They were quick to make sure I was thoroughly taken care of and got me the best deal on the best tires, no questions asked. Today, I ran over something on the freeway and popped my tire. The guys here took my tire off, checked it out to be able to explain to me exactly what happened, and gave me an even better deal than last time. Their water bottles, coffee and kind attitude made for an easy, cool place to escape the heat and fix my problem.

If you’re anything like me, you hate taking your car into a mechanic, and believe me, I knew I had car problems for some time now and kept putting it off, I was referred to Globe by my older sister who has always had great service from this establishment and I finally brought my car in last week, when I say that they treated me like family, I’m totally not exaggerating, Josh the service manager and John the owner explained everything to me in great detail and were completely honest and professional.
I highly recommend Globe to anyone that dreads going to the mechanic (which is pretty much everyone) I won’t be taking my car anywhere else, great cost and my car drives like its brand new again! Friendly and professional staff!

The person who helped me was named Dave and he was not friendly AT ALL!!! This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. He was just plane RUDE! I came on a Tuesday because I had a nail in my tire. Dave said he needed to order me a tire because they didn’t have my tire in stock. He said that it would be there the next day (Wednesday). I called on Wednesday afternoon and Dave was very short with me, while explaining that my tire had not arrived yet and that it would be there on Thursday instead. I called back Thursday afternoon and Dave simply said, «it’s not here yet» with no further explanation or attempting to gather an ETA.

These guys are legit. I went to Globe tire because I had a machine screw in my brand new Pirelli P Zero Nero 22 on my new 2015 Maserati. This was after driving up and down PCH and each auto store blowing me off, or ignoring me when their reps were chatting on the phone with who knows who. I don’t fall for that crap.
You blow me off, you’re done. Firestone Tires told me to go there because they could not service me till the next day. But I am a lawyer and had court the next day so this was urgent. When I walked in Dave Porter was on duty. A really cool guy and he did not disappoint. He said I may have to wait an hour but he would handle it.
I stood by and within 40 minutes the tire was removed, patched and placed back on the car. I explained to Dave that I would tell all my friends and family and that as a former U.S. Marine, this is what I expected because this is what I would give. Going the extra mile is part of doing business. He agreed and said «no charge.» I was floored and immediately told him I was gonna go the extra mile for him and give the tire store a good review on Unilocal!Semper Fi Dave!

Great proces, great service. Got 4 new michicillen super sports for my m3 for under $ 800. There was an issue with my presure sensor but they fixed it right away the next day. If they are bsy, it’s because they are good and worth the wait.

I’ve been dealing with a slow leak in my rear passenger side tire for a couple days. Planning my routes based on gas with air pumps. A co-​worker recommended Globe Tires.
I went there after work when my tire pressure was low again. Was greeted with a friendly «how can we help you?» Told her about the tire and gave her my keys. It is nice that they offer a cold bottle of water as you wait especially on those hot Summer days.
After about a fifteen minute wait my car was done. The problem was a nail and they didn’t even charge me. I even asked if the tread was too low and was told they were good. The customer service is great and I will come here when I do eventually need to purchase new tires.

Do not go any further. This place is truly the best place to get your tires from. I’ve heard of people traveling 40 to 50 miles if not further to come to the tire store. As an FYI I was one of those people. Buying tires is about trust safety and confidence. These folks embrace all three.

They have a sign on the door that’s says ‘just be nice’ and they mean it! The nicest friendliest service ever!
They are great with communication, very honest with pricing, knowledgable and being on a budget even helped me prioritize fixing the problems my car was having.
I will never go anywhere else now!!!

This is the best place in the south bay by far for tire and alignment needs. Super professional. They really are much more professional than most shops: 1) they know how to properly raise a car (jack points, etc.), 2) they always use torque wrenches on the wheels instead of impact wrenches, 3) they have experience with luxury cars, 4) have the latest hardware machines to do alignments, 5) they never use plugs to repair flat tires. What prompted me to write the review tho is last weekend I came in to get a screw patched and they did not charge me anything. Amazing service and competitive prices. At this point Im a customer for life. Highly recommend this shop.

Purchased tires here in November and was happy with the service. Stopped by today to see if they could check one of the tires for a leak and was told they were too busy to get to it today. Fair enough, but then after asking when they might be able to perform this 5 minute follow up job all I received was a list of the other things they had to do.
Since they’re not the only tire shop in town, you’re better off going elsewhere.
* Update * A 2 minute drive down Artesia to Pep Boys resulted in friendly service, no wait to check my tire, and a FREE patch which had me fixed and back on the road in 15 minutes. What a surprise the chain store provided better service than a local shop. Globe should take note before they’re out of business.
