I didn’t come here to get vegetarian! The manager of this store is very tight. Each time I get served by him the portions are very small and even though I order chicken or steak, I end up being served just rice and vegetables with a bit of meat, and have to buy an extra side to compensate. I ordered the steak dish and had 3 small pieces of steak, the rest was vegetable — what a joke? Don’t be so tight! Your other staff members are generous. The portions are so small that on most days, I go to Shophouse around the corner instead now, as then I actually get a full meal!

Lost one star for not keeping up with the demand of teriyaki chicken! We waited 25 minutes then we were given the wrong order. Otherwise good food and good portions! Perfect lunch on the go ~ if they have what you want ready to serve.

Always accommodating and when food isn’t perfectly fresh they’re glad to make new stuff. Newly remodeled/one nice thing new chairs don’t make the noise they used to when they’re cleaning the tables. Portions: cost a little above average for the area and you feel like you’re getting acceptable value generally, but look closely and lots of filler too; a little illusory actually. Parking never a problem. And the new rice formula sucks compared to the earlier recipe they used the first few years we came here.

We go to the 9:45 service near this Panda Express so we tend to be a bit hungry by the time services end. At first my mind told me that I didn’t really need much and I didn’t want to just waist money. I considered getting the 2 tacos for $ 1 at Jack In The Box but decided to give this Panda Express one more visit instead. Right off the bat I always wonder why just like last time there was only one customer inside. Of course we did get there just after opening but I would expect by then there are a of people just getting out of church and very hungry to boot. As we got there only a short time after opening, I decided to ask when the food was cooked. The young woman didn’t know so she asked the manager. The Manager came out appearing to be quite bothered anyone would be asking such a strange question??? Anyway, the food was cooked 45 minutes before opening so that meant close to an hour before we got there. After we got our food and sat down to eat it I noticed right after we sat down a few white customers came in and the manager was quick to come out and even smiled at them. Some of you will know what I am referring to. By the time we began to eat, our food was only a little warm but the rice and noodles didn’t taste fresh. My wife thought it may have been held over from the night before. This was the second time I was very dissatisfied with this location. We spent over $ 23 for food that wasn’t very satisfying. Since finding a few local Asian restaurants in the area, I’m done with PE.

This place is very similar to all other Panda Express restaurants I’ve been to. The employees I’ve encountered here are pretty friendly. The food is consistent. The orange chicken is always good as well as the mushroom chicken. The honey walnut shrimp isn’t something I would get again. But, the chicken teriyaki is a great choice if you’re looking for something good. They even give you the sauce on the side in case you like it heavy or light on the sauce. :) BTW, if you take the survey on the receipt, you get a free entrée with your next two item combo purchase! :)

You’ve been to one Panda Express, you’ve been to them all. Ugh, the food here sucks, but every once in a while, I crave their orange chicken. Yes, I am ashamed of myself but whatever. It’s good.

Always clean, fast and efficient. The workers are friendly and there is never to big of a wait. Parking is efficient and clean. I frequent when in the area and always good service. This location excels because it’s larger then most.

They’re always busy but always manage to keep food coming in fresh. And if it’s not they will have the cook make it fresh. Definitely a plus to me. Plus they’re all extra nice in there.

We stumbled across this Panda after waiting in the longest line ever at the location on Hawthorne Blvd.(near Marine Blvd.) It’s one of the few stand alone locations and it’s pretty nice. On the evening we dropped by there was barely anyone in the place and that’s how we like it. Not a bad experience and we would return, but I do have one complaint and it’s kind of a big one… they run out of food frequently! I’ve never seen Black Pepper Chicken here and each time that we’ve gone we’ve had to wait for something to be replenished because they don’t have enough or it’s so low that I won’t take it. Other than that, give it a try.

The only reason I checked this Unilocal was to see if they were open on New Years. Needless to say, I was SHOCKED to read all the horrible reviews. My fiancé and I eat here at least three times a month. This is the best Panda Express I’ve ever been to. The restaurant itself is immaculate and the food is always cooked to perfection and FRESH. This location gets extremely busy and they always move the line quickly and remake items at warp speed. The entire staff is extremely friendly and organized. Highly recommend this location, look closely at the poor reviews and judge for yourself. Btw if you live in the true South Bay you know this location has prime parking :)

I always get a kids meal. If I eat too much Panda I feel gross for about a week. I get brown rice w/broccoli beef or one of the other lighter options. It comes with a cookie and I get black iced tea. Good for lunch or dinner and I’m always full. If I’m a little hungrier I get a cup of hot and sour soup w/some crispy noodles. I never finish it all. Every Panda is the same.

mama got me a gift card cause she knows i love me some PE. but, man, it’s sure getting expensive. i felt ballsy cause of my gift card, but, almost $ 9 for a 3 item? damn. cool location. parking is kinda challenging cause it’s so small. exiting out of there during rush hour on Sepulveda is pretty NOT fun. the trays were full, the service was quick and the food was delicious. i’m just not digging the price points. eh, whatever. i don’t eat PE often so, i’m still a big fan.

Had a coupon for a free Surf and Turf, here’s how we did… Marisa L and I pulled in to this location around 7:40 pm. It was packed, probably 20 people in front of us. 15 of them had the same coupon we did. We ended up getting the family meal with Orange Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Mushroom Chicken and a double order of the chow mein. Ok, the noodles a the bomb. orange Chicken is always bueno but the mushroom chicken was just blah. The Surf and Turf was really quite interesting. There was more turf than surf and more veggies than meat. So in short I think the Surf n Turf was quite weak. There was more pieces of potato than anything else. But hey, free is free and I wont complain too much. Will I again?.. Yeah, the noodles are always tasty and the orange chicken is dreamy. Thanks again for the free coupon

This is a nice location with a good sized parking lot. The food at Panda Express is fairly consistent. They had a special«Gung Hay Fat Choi» Special on Wed 02÷13÷13, «Free» Shrimp, no purchase necessary — so, they give you a single serving order which mine was 3 jumbo prawns with some peas and vegetation. Who can complain about that? Great promotion !!! The cashier COURTNEY was extremely friendly and nice, the type of person who you always want to meet in a retail /service provider environment. When judging Panda Express, it’s unfair to compare to some of the Chinese restaurants where you sit down and order. That’s like comparing McDonald’s & Burger King with The Counter or even Fatburger. This is a steam tray fast food styled eatery. The food is not cooked to order, it’s served to order and sitting there waiting for you or anyone else who wants it. For those reasons, it’s probably one of the more reliable Chinese steam tray places where you know the food is fresh and not just sitting there. The portions are okay, for under $ 10, you can get a plate with 3 – 4 items and even save half for a second meal if you practice portion control eating. They don’t run cheap eats dollar menu specials like some of their American cuisine fast food peers, those burger joints. I think one day they’ll probably do a $ 2.99 steamed rice and one item«bowl» which would rejuvenate their business I think. Sometimes their«kids meal» has enough portions for a snack as well. This is one of my more favored locations for Panda Express.

I realized that when I have an opinion it’s a strong one. People from the East Coast are kinda like that. I’ll state my opinion once affirmatively and emphatically. I wont apologize for it. This can be polarizing and not everyone is going to like me for it. Guess what? People who sit on the fence with lukewarm opinions earn just as many haters. The irony is that with such an «East Coast» attitude. I LOVELA! I personally think EVERYTHING is better out here. The weather. The people are friendly. Drivers less rude. NOTOLLROADS. THEBEACHISFREE. So much to do in LA and OC. Cost of living is cheaper in almost every way.(When I first moved out here this kind of talk annoyed my East Coast friends. The ones that have never been were skeptical of my claims. The ones that have been probably got annoyed that its true.) Those who think I’m crazy describing LA as cheap, go try living in NJ for a while and come back and talk to me. and heres the post rant tie in… EVEN the Panda Express is better out here! See I never even looked at Panda as a viable dining option when I first came here. Out east Panda Express is only in strip malls and College food courts. The food is basically hot light food and free samples of cashew chicken on a toothpick are given out by employees in lets say … the Garden State Plaza. Here in the Golden State Panda Expresses are free standing buildings. They operate on what seems to be a totally different business model. The selection is expansive and the food is MUCH fresher. The fried breading is crunchier. For some reason it just tastes less soggy and less processed. I know, I know at the end of the day its all fast food but the difference between East Coast and West Coast Panda is NIGHT and DAY. Or should I say Winter vs Endless Summer. Way better than PF Changs, Way better than«Pick Up Sticks» And Way better 95% of 95 of the carbon copy no originality Chinese food places in NJ and NY. I probably have had better Chinese food but right now I’m having a tough time recalling. If you get the steak or shrimp items your meal can reach $ 8 or $ 9 dollars in price but its soooo dam good and you do not end up feeling ripped off. People here have the idea that Panda just ‘meh’ I guess they don’t have the reference point of the really crappy panda to compare it to. To paraphrase 2pac, every thing is better on the West Coast. Even the PANDAEXPRESS is better out here Well, except for pizza and sandwiches but thats a small price to pay in the grand scheme.
