I know it may sometimes take longer than usual to get your plants but it’s well worth the wait. My plant came super healthy and lucious. Mike did not answer my call but when I left a message he got back to me in a timely matter. Would do business with him again. Just be patient and know you’re getting a good plant for the price.

Recently, I became interested in carnivorous plants. Living in the South Bay, I was thrilled finding this gem on Unilocal and decided to give this store a call. Just like the other reviewers had mentioned, no one answered my calls. Living close by, I decided to pay the store a visit, only to find the store does not exist. What I did find at the said location was a wig store that looked like it had been there for quite a long time. Apparently, it was closed on a Saturday afternoon. Look up Wig Salon in the city of Manhattan Beach and compare the address to Southbay Traps (same address, duh!).
What a bummer! Needless to say, this carnivorous plant store doesn’t seem to exist!
I took a picture of the store front. If you blow up the photo, you will see the (½) in small text following the 1809 address.

My order was placed on July 14th, shipped on July 29th, and received on July 31st. I messaged SouthbayTraps twice through the messaging system on their website, emailed, and left a comment in one of their pictures and I received no response. On July 22nd I requested a refund because the pots and plants I needed didn’t arrive on time. They completely ignored all my attempts to communicate with them. Yet, they continued to post pictures on Facebook and left comments on Instagram. They also deleted a question I left in one of their pictures on Facebook and blocked me from leaving future comments. Overall, this has been really disappointing. All I wanted was some communication but I received none. However, the plants were well packaged and in good quality.

Haven’t received a 2000 $ order and it’s been 2 weeks, going to have to deal with disputing charges of I don’t hear something from this company. They don’t answer their phone or emails, so im questioning legitimacy.
