Zimax Water & Fire Damage Restoration

This is an honest and unbiased review from a real customer. I just purchased my first apartment in west Hollywood. It was the biggest purchase of my life. I decided to do some work around the apartment before I moved in– get rid of popcorn ceilings and walls, install recessed lighting, paint, crown molding, etc. I initially received a low cost bid from a competitor who I went with. This ended up being the worst mistake of my life. This contractor literally ruined the walls to the point where they were wavy, sanded improperly, shoddy paint job. I called Milan and zimax who come within the hour on a Saturday morning to evaluate the damage caused by the now fired ex contractor. I could immediately tell the difference in professionalism between my old contractor and the zimax guys. He told me the work that had been done was bad and told me exactly what he needed to do to fix it. The next day he gave me a complete estimate and started work on Monday. This was a heaven sent. Milan got the repairs and improvements done in 4 days. The other contractor sent over 2 weeks ruining my apartment. This was all done exactly to budget.
I know they don’t have a lot of reviews, but you need to take a chance and go with these guys, they will not let you down.

I was lucky when I hired Zimax to handle my water damage. I had a sink overflow and my entire kitchen was disaster, black water everywhere. Upon their arrival they explained to me every step about the work they will perform in the next couple of days. My kitchen was packed, moved, tested for asbestos and mold, with all reports.
After completion of drying they repair affected areas, ordered a brand new kitchen and entire loss was covered by my insurance company.

They were unlicensed when they contracted with us, agreed to get approval before they exceeded 5000 dollars, then gave us a bill for more than 5 times that amount without speaking to us. These are not the kind of people you want to do business with, unethical is too kind of a word.
