I tried the chicken & noodle soup from here a month or so ago. Nice for a cold winters day, however the pasta was way too soft as if it had been simmering in the soup for too long. I guess that’s perhaps what you’d expect from a soup cart… Not a bad deal though for $ 5 — a good size carton of soup with a fresh bread roll. Would probably just try a different soup next time.

Good, hot soup at a great price. Chicken & dumpling soup was simple but tasty. Gumbo and chicken noodle were fine but sparse… overly brothy.

I love this street cart. Now that the weather is getting cold, this is THE best place to go for a quick run for lunch. He serves about 8 different types of soup daily, and usually includes chili(my fave). For $ 5, you can get a medium soup and crackers or a roll. YUMM!!! Soups I’ve seen rotated on the menu include: Chili(both beef and veggie) Chicken dumpling Minestrone Chicken Noodle Lentil(one of my favorites!!!) Tomato bisque Lobster bisque Cream of mushroom Cream of broccoli Split green pea New England Clam Chowder French Onion Creamy chicken and rice Beef and vegetable Italian wedding Gazpacho In the warmer months, he also whips up smoothies. I highly recommend if you work in this area. The price certainly can’t be beat. Nothing like hot soup on a cold day!
