The food is absolutely amazing. I first tried Feed Your Hole when they came to the CU area for the Food Pod. Our group decided to order a bunch of different items so that we could try everything. We had 3 different burgers, an order of their hotdogs, and fries. Everything was cooked perfectly and had so much flavor. I mean the second we were done we found ourselves trying to find out where they were going to be next. So that we could plan out our next meal. Sadly we all have been quite disappointed as we haven’t been able to find the truck since. They make it VERY difficult to find them and because of this I must take off 2 stars, yes 2. We used to follow them on Twitter but we realized that all they do is talk to other people or post pictures of food — never where they are or a schedule. A bunch of us then e-mailed them to try and find out where they will be, but no one got response. This review would’ve been 5 stars if they just told people where they are or posted a schedule or responded to at least ONE of the many messages — anything! *sigh*

Classy Burger Truck, despite the crazy paint job… Went with the Cheeseburger with Balsamic caramalized onions, and the home made lemonade. The guy even offered a complimentary rum spike in the lemonade… which I thought was a nice touch. Regardless, it was cooked perfectly, and had all sorts of upscale topping options.

Dear Feedyourhole, You have no idea how to run a business. Im sure you make great good but why dont you announce where you are located? Id love to eat there because I hear great things, but where the F**K are they located? I have tweeted /called /emailed using the contact information on their website, but whoever runs this food truck doesn’t respond. Their website is dumb in the sense that it posts pictures of food but doesn’t tell you how you can buy said food. Sure that big burger looks delicious, thanks for the pics… but now HOWCAN I BUYIT? Where are you located? Why do you make it so difficult for people to find you? Are you an inside joke that I have fallen for? Starving and cranky!

Best burgers. Period. I don’t even think they can be considered a burger, because what they do is like art. They love burgers, & you can tell when you take your first bite. The fresh bun, the beef, & they’re service are all better than any burger place I’ve been to. It’s as close a religious experience I ever had or will have. I have to recommend my favorite, the Old NY Way: burger w/fries & a hotdog on top. Then there’s the double double. Two patties drenched in cheese. When I die, I hope it’s right after eating either of these masterpieces on a bun. The guys are all super friendly. I never had bad service. I joked with one about the previous guys order(well done burger) & they gave me free chili fries!!! Another time they gave me a free soda for it taking so long. Negative criticisms? I really have to search deep down to find any. It really is perfect… Um… Ah! There’s only one of them!!! I’m mad they haven’t gone through some sort of cellular reproduction & take over different areas of the city with their copies. This would make me happy. Science should solve this.

Awsome burger. I had the diesel burger with basically everything on it topped with the garlic mayo. I was certainly surprised as I was not expecting anything special. I also had a side of cheese fries which were not bad either. I will certainly eat here again and am looking forward to tasting the nut burger next time. I would definitely recommend.

It’s getting hard to keep up with all the trucks now in Midtown East neighborhood. Once you get used to one up pops another one, so here’s the latest one to pop up. I saw this truck parked on 46th& Vanderbilt early this morning so I looked them up to see what the deal was and the reviews seemed pretty good so I said maybe I’ll give them a try for lunch depending on how I feel. So lunch finally rolled around and I took a walk and saw my other favorite truck parked on the other side«KORILLA» and right away the thought of a burger started to slip away but I managed to talk myself into trying this new truck as Korilla is always around and I can always find them to get my fix! So anyway there was practically no line at the FYH truck so I stepped up and took a look at the menu and ordered the Diesal which is sufficient enough for us ladies lol read the reviews on the fries so decided to just stick with the burger. The Diesal comes with one patty, bacon, cheddar cheese and Ranch sauce which was fine until I saw he garlic mayo so I stepped up to ask for the mayo instead of Ranch dressing and he said«your not going to be a pain in the #@# are you, I want you to try it with the Ranch sauce» exccuusee me? my BX instinct kicked in and was about to fire back that I’m the one paying for and eating this so just give me what I asked for BUT I held off as I wasn’t sure if he was joking so I just smiled and said nooo and stepped back and waited for my order. Lady on the side of me was ordering for the first time also and said she hoped she would be able to get the fries as he said he might not have enough because he has to cut them… One thing made me want to leave and not get my order at all and that is the handling food and money at the same time with no sign of a glove in sight. To be fair I did not see him touching any food with his bare hands so I tried to convince myself that«maybe» he has tongs inside to pick everything up(it’s the only way I was going to get through eating this thing now) so I took my burger back to my desk and opened it and yea it looked like a shake shack burger as I cut through it I was praying that it was cooked well enough and it was cooked okay I would have liked it a little more well but I didn’t see any blood and it wasn’t too pink so I picked up half and ate. Verdict: Solid burger, seasoned very well(taste like shake shack but seasoned better) and I like that he crumbled the bacon on top of the burger. Very good burger not sure if I’ll be back because of the whole glove thing but who knows? We’ll see…

This review is for the hot dogs and fries… which after reading these reviews I realize I should’ve been ordering the burger instead. Anyway, ordered a couple of dogs which took an incredibly long time for the food to be ready. I came to this truck because I had to jump on a conference call and couldn’t wait elsewhere… what a mistake. They really need to figure out the logistics of delivering the food here. The food itself… the bun fell apart, the fries were soggy by the time I got back to my desk, and they forgot some of the toppings on my hot dog in their haste to get orders out. Maybe it was a bad day… but with all of the options in Midtown, you gotta be on your game or be apologizing profusely for taking twenty minutes to deliver a couple of hot dogs when I’m paying $ 10 for them.

The Double Double(which is now $ 8, by the way, no longer $ 7 as mentioned in an older review) is an outstanding burger with cheese and pickles, particularly yummy when you add roasted garlic mayo. They cooked it to order«medium rare,» which is something most food trucks won’t do — in fact most are incapable of doing it, since their patties are so thin that you’d never be able to make out any pinkness inside anyway. Not so here; this was cooked properly. They also stuck a free can of Coke in my bag, even though I don’t remember seeing any«buy a burger and fries, get a soda free» signs on the truck. Can’t argue with that. My only problem(hence the 4 stars, not 5) was that I ordered my fries without salt, and they salted them anyway — and they were kind of soggy and mushed together. But they were still tasty.

THis is one of my favorite food trucks to go to.PERIOD. I like it this much, I stand by that people should like the burgers here. I have been here at least 4 times. FIrst, heard about it through the TENKA site. They did a NY Burger deal. YOu had to just get the code and get a free burger from them. NY Burger was kind of a standard burger, and by standard I mean NOTSTANDARD. It was sort of Jalepeno cheese on it, no lettuce or anything but alot of other good stuff like onions and I think horseradish mayo. It was made pretty well done. I liked it. –HAVE also come here before and tried the Fries. They are really good and you get alot of them. Also the Porky hot dog is excellent. I mean EVERYTHING tastes better with BACON, right. Nice and tight… It is a bacon wrapped hod dog for $ 3.25(around that price). They also had the SYCK as FK sliders for a while, not sure if they still do. Check it out, they are usually around 28th street and Park Ave, or in the general area, DIFFERENT streets, check their twitter. I need to go back for another visit actually.

You know those really bad car chase scenes where the«evil» car has a scary, fang-filled, Jaws-like mouth painted on the grill? Imagine that barreling down the streets of Manhattan, but instead of trying to run you off the road and into a ditch, it’s offering you such delicacies as «SYCFUK» sliders, bacon wrapped hotdogs, all organic toppings and more. Well then you’d have the Feed Your Hole truck. The day of my visit, my former boss and I ventured over to the area around18th Street and 5th Avenue, where the truck was parked that day. Feed Your Hole had been on my food truck list for awhile and I was über excited to try it. Especially since I had a Tenka deal in my pocket for a free Porky Dog! The porky dog is a fried bacon wrapped hotdog, served with a topping of your choice. But alas! When I finally arrived at the truck, the Tenka deal had run out!(There are a limited number per vendor, and if you don’t get there in time — too bad!) When I ordered my porky dog, cause hells yes, I still wanted it, and lamented to Sean, the face of The Hole(haha) that I had just missed the deal, he was nice enough to still give it to me for free! YAY. When I got back to the office with my dog, I couldn’t wait to dive right in. The hotdog was the perfect size(not too big, not too small, juuuuuuuust right — like Goldilocks!) Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The bacon wrapped around it was cooked to perfection, and the garlic mayo topping that I chose was delicious. It was just garlicky enough for me(I love garlic!!) And not too mayonnaise-y(I loathe mayo as a general rule, unless it’s in chicken salad, pasta salad, etc.) The fries I got with my meal were salty, moist and chewy. Not too dry, and not mushy. They were like McDonalds’ fries classier uncle. The Feed Your Hole porky dog was amazing. And I can’t wait to try more of what they have to offer. I mean, how can you go wrong with a truck that looks like it does?

It’s easy to screw up a burger. It’s especially easy to screw up a «gourmet» burger. The food truck trend is a great way for some talented chefs to get their names and skills out there. But it also results in some semi-talented people creating trucks that offer interesting-in-theory dishes while churning out average to mediocre product. The Feed Your Hole Truck, in spite of its name that doesn’t seem to give a crap if you enjoy what you stuff into your body, is not one of these mediocre trucks. It’s a truck that takes the concept of burgers on a truck and takes it up a notch. I’ve had two of their sliders: the peanut butter and bacon slider and the cheddar and caramelized onion slider. In spite of my near obsession with bacon, the cheddar and caramelized onion slider really took the cake for being a flavorful piece of beef first, and letting the toppings compliment rather than overwhelm. Again, it is ridiculously easy to screw up a burger. These guys don’t. Eat their food.

I’ve read some good things about the burgers here(especially the double double) so I’ve had this truck on my list for a while now. I finally got around to trying it today. The burgers are really good. I got a double double(8 oz. of beef with white American cheese, pickles, and special sauce on a potato bun) and a smaller slider with cheddar and horseradish mayo. The meat on the double double was smashed and the whole thing had a really soft feel. The cheese was gooey and perfectly melted. Produce isn’t really needed for this kind of burger since the meat, sauce, bun, and pickles give it more than enough flavor. The slider was also really good and a nice alternative to fries(in a sick kind of way, I thought I was being healthier by doing this). I’m giving this review only 3 stars because of the wait time. When I got there, there were about 5 or 6 people waiting for their food(they had already ordered) and 2 people ahead of me on line waiting to order. It took a real 15 minutes of waiting on line before the guy ahead of me was asked for his order. When I was finally able to order, I ended up waiting for another 15 – 20 minutes for my food. I got here around 12:15 and walked away with my food at 12:55. That’s a really long time to wait considering the fact that only about 8 people were served their food before me during this timespan. If I walked by this truck and saw no line, I’d definitely get this again. Otherwise, I appreciate the fact that everything is made fresh(it shows in the food quality), but they need think about figuring out a way to do this more efficiently. Wait times like the ones I experienced today could be a deal breaker. I’ll update my review/rating if I see that serving times improve.

Sorry Unilocal,I only remember to write reviews after particularly awesome consumer experiences… FYH Truck was one of them! I suggest bacon bits and hot sauce. Their hot sauce is actually hot :) I was pleasantly surprised. FHY = Delicious good quality food for a low price paired with excellent customer service.

The burger here was really awesome. I had the double double, 2 patties with a ton of cheese and pickles. I’d say it’s definitely better than 5 guys, but not as good as Shake Shack. It’s more similar to a shake shack burger with the potato bun. When i ordered, I didn’t realize that the burger didn’t come with lettuce, tomatoes, and ketchup, which i think would’ve made it a little better. Fries were also pretty good, kinda soggy, which i dont mind, and they come with a sauce. I got the garlic mayo which was very good. $ 10 for a burger and fries is pretty comparable to other places with the same quality. I definitely wanna come back and try the Bronx Bomber(2 hot dogs and chili cheese fries in a burger bun).

I came here again due to another tenka deal, but came back the same day to get another porky dog. I’d have to say that hands down FYH serves one of the best, if not the best burgers in the city. In my opinion, they’re better than Shake Shack, Five Guys, and Elevation Burger. Go try their Double Double for $ 7. I got it and I was expecting a burger with 2 little skimpy beef patties similar to In N Out or Five Guys, but nope, these were easily 1 inch thick patties. These 2 massively fat patties were cooked perfectly(if you like the burger cooked medium-rare/medium). Sean didn’t ask any of us how we wanted our burgers cooked, but the meat was perfectly soft and melt in your mouth goodness. You can’t insult the artist by telling him to cook it to a burnt hockey puck — that’d be such a waste. The melted cheese just oozed everywhere. I asked for some Ghost Chili sauce and it was watered down with plain hot sauce — it has a little bit of burn to it, but I inhaled the burger so quickly I guess none of it hit my tongue. I wanted to try the ghost chili, so I came back an hour later to get a porky dog. It was worth it. The thick bacon was cooked perfectly crisp. I scarfed it down and left in tears because it was so hot — just the way I like it. It’s a good thing he thins out that hot sauce, otherwise, he’d probably have make people sign waivers. For a food truck, it does seem to take a little while, but good things come to those who wait.

There was a deal on Tenka for a free burger from this truck so I decided to walk to 30th and Park from my office(which was nearby), especially since it was such a nice day outside today. I had previously gotten the bacon wrapped hot dog as part of another Tenka deal, which was delicious, but the price seemed a bit steep for a hotdog($ 3.25). I wasn’t sure which burger the Tenka deal included, so I stood to the side and waited after I showed them the deal. However, while I was waiting, about 3 – 4 people had showed up after me and gotten their food before my burger had even appeared! I think they might have forgotten my order, but once they remembered, the guy in the truck kept apologizing for the delay and tossed in an extra side of cheese fries with the burger. I didn’t mind the wait, as it was such a nice day out. I took my food to Madison Square Park to eat, and once I bit into the burger, I immediately forgot about the long wait it took. The Double Double burger I received was super delicious, and totally made the wait worth it. It has pickles in it(and I’m not a big fan of pickles) but the deliciousness of the burger made me forget all about the pickles. The cheese fries were also pretty decent. I will probably be coming back to this truck, as I was eying the«Bronx Bomber» while waiting. Would love to try that next time!

Travelled all the way from 50th and 6th ave to 30th and Park to try this place. Tenka had a free bacon wrapped hot dog deal with this truck and I wanted to give this a try. When I arrived and ordered, they told me that they had ran out of the bacon wrapped hot dogs BUT I could get any dog I wanted(with any toppings). I asked for a recommendation and ended up with the chili dog and a side order of fries($ 3). Also tried the double double burger. Nothing on it but two patties, pickles and a ton of cheese. It was so simple but so good! The wait time seems to vary. My first experience, I waited 5 minutes or so. For my second, I waited 30+ minutes. No joke. But I’ll still come back: D

Wowie, wowie… I never thought I’d see the day! I’ve been a die-hard 5 Guys fan for about 15 years now and thought for sure that would be my favie burger for life… until today. Feed Your Hole’s ‘Double Double’ just blew my mind. I think I said«wow» about 16 times as I walked away eating the damn thing. So far that’s all I’ve had from the truck but if that’s anything to go by then this place is the real deal Hollyfield. Word.
