Ed was great. Sold a couple watches with him! I walked around 47th street and got appraised by 10+ people. Everyone there told me low prices for my item while Eddie told me the highest price compared to everyone. Eddie is super professional and I would recommend anyone to go to him for anything. Alot of the other guys on 47th street will talk down your item to get your item at a lower price. Dont waste your time in the other shops. Go straight to Eddie You wont regret it!

I recently came in to sell some gold and sat down with Ed. It was refreshing to get an offer right away and not play the«so how much do you want to get for this» game that other gold dealers I have seen play. Ed is looking to build customers who will come back and make referrals — not just make a quick buck from someone and never see them again. Overall I was satisfied with the experience, since I am not a gold aficionado but feel I was treated fairly.

Ed is very nice and easy to talk to. This is the first place I ever came into to get an idea of what my items could sell for. I didn’t feel pushed into anything at all. He gave me a price way more than I expected. When I told him I need to think about it he totally understood. I’d go back to 47st buyers!

I went to 47th St Buyers on a very rainy day. The gentleman who helped me, I believed his name was Tony, was very courteous and professional. The quote he gave me for my jewelry was higher than another place I went to. This caught me off guard and raised my initial opinion of 47th St Buyers. I highly recommend this business to anyone who want to sell their jewelry.

These people are great! I walked out with more money than anyone on the whole block would give me… I don’t know how they do it, but they really give you the most money than anyone else on 47th street. And they’re friendly and welcoming. I’m never goin anywhere else!

Just went there this afternoon. I got screwed. I had an idea of the weight and gram price. The guy gave me a weight which i thought was grams but actually was pennyweight. Needless to say i got the gram pay out. This guy just wanted to get me in, cheat me, and get me out. And thats what he did. I walked out $ 700 short of what i should have gotten. Its my fault i should have slowed this guy down and had everything broken down by karat and had everything written out. Lesson learned. This place says they pay out 98%…only if you know what you have. Def not an honest establishment. 1÷30÷14 update: The comments below were just posted… over 2years since i wrote my review. This company never reached out to me. As to why i couldn’t get my property back, they threw it into a large box of mixed jewelry before i could respond to the offer. Also the offer was one lump sum. I had mixed karat pieces and instead of weighing separately they threw everything together. If possible i would give zero stars

i wouldn’t call this place an appraisal shop. The guy basically looks at your jewelry and offers you a price for it. More of a pawn shop. And you can go into any other store on 47th street and have someone do the same thing.
