AJNY Nails

This place is terrible. Emily is rude. If you want great tips you have to work and be friendly. I had an early meeting, I usually get my nail done on the upper east side but I had to be on the upper west side, so I stop by to get a fill in. First of they don’t accept credit cards. Red flag here because they don’t want to give refund for their terrible service. I had just enough money to get a fill and to leave at least $ 8 tips. But Emily was careless, she was annoyed when I asked her to do my nail a certain way. She didn’t applied lotion before polish. When I asked her to do so. She replied later. When I asked her after I dry she was again annoyed as if I was bothering her. Then applied oil on my hands. Since I needed to be some where with clean nails. I left without saying a words, but looking at my nails in the taxi, what a waste of money, she did a terrible polish, I gave her $ 4 tips which I think she stills didn’t deserve. I hope they close this place soon because unacceptable service, and rude staffs.

A NIGHTMARE! Got Fungus on my nails after going to this place, the staff is horrible very unprofessional and hard to communicate with due to the fact that some don’t speak or understand English! I never had fungus before until I went to this place and it just won’t go away, I’ve tried numerous medication and it just keeps getting worse, I recently had to now make an appointment with a foot Doctor so I can get rid of the growing monster on my nails… Neighbors have told me this place has been closed numerous times by the department of health due to them being unsanitary and not sterilizing their equipments for the use of each customer, Others have complain about getting Fungus as well. Wish I would’ve known before becoming a customer in this place, it’s been Hell! And yes, Kim is the only one who does a good job on the nails, but how good of a job can it be when the equipment is not cleaned properly or sterilized after each use that the customers are ending up with Fungus!!!
