Love this hole in the wall juice place. Because it is a hole in the wall, no need to pay for overpriced juice/​smoothies!
We’ve gotten to know the guys/​girl who works there and they’re very nice.
Can anyone find out what the coconut is in the Kale Monster? (Is it coconut milk, shredded coconut or actual coconut meat?)

OKkkk. Really great portions for the amount, however I question their fruit quality — is it organic? Either way, the drink tasted fresh and was prepared efficiently and quickly. Staff was nice and helped me pick out the best smoothie for my taste. I also like the plethora of menu options — it shows the staff has given thought to their recipes and aren’t just a regular joe-​schmo juice shop. Will stop in whenever in the area.

This strange little shop should stay hidden forever because it’s amazingly delicious and I don’t want anyone else finding it and drinking all the juice! The space is a little grimy and quite small; big enough for 3 ½ adults & a stroller. Pasted on the walls are so many different choices ranging from grass shots, smoothies and acai smoothie bowls. I order a strawberry, coconut & pineapple smoothie that originally came with banana. They were super accommodating and made the smoothie without banana or any milk. The medium was the perfect size and it was delicious. I was tempted to try and lick the side of the cup if we’re being honest. Will definitely be going again!

This place is a great find. it’s a small hole in the wall that you might miss but it’s the best juice & smoothie place around. the smoothies are medium $ 5 and large $ 6, both being pretty generous servings. it smells great in this place and they have really fresh ingredients! They also have seemingly endless amounts of options/​combos.

This place is amazing. I come everyday… the guys who work there know I’m addicted. Smoothies are fresh, and they use a bunch of yummy ingredients. My favorite is the papaya banana.
They started taking credit card this past week — $ 5 minimum, which you can meet if you get a medium juice or a large smoothie. Some other stuff may be more based on the ingredients (acai is $ 1 – 2 more)

Looked this place up to give it a good review because every time I’ve been here these guys are sooo nice and their bubble teas are so good! My favorites are the almond, coconut and honey dew bubble teas. And the prices are good. Very reasonable. They are not stingy with their bubbles either :) I think it’s always $ 3.50 for a regular size which always leaves me full and the bigger size i think is maybe $ 1 more. I always struggle to finish the small size though. It’s also sweet but I love it like that! You can ask for it to be less sweet.

I come here 3 – 4 times a week and these guys are great! Decently priced and quick service.

I love this place! It’s a small mom and pop store. I can actually see the fresh fruit used in my smoothies. My favorites are the fruit smoothies with mango, papaya, watermelon and lychee. My sister gets the taro bubble drink. The staff is always pleasant and service is prompt. They have menus of very creative drinks for different health benefits which I’ve never tried.

I work across the street from here, and it’s amazing. My favorite is the Crunch smoothie. Can’t get enough of it!

ORGANIC MY A**!!
This place claims to use organic veggies and fruit. but the packaging is right there, clearly NOT organic. when I asked specifically about the carrots, the server said, yes, organic. When I asked to see the packaging, he said he couldn’t show it to me. I would still be a customer if they told the truth, but they dont.
in comparison, Juice generation lists exactly which of their ingredients are organic and which are not. i’m going to trek down to 86^th and B’way.

Was craving some cold bubble tea after a run and found this small juice bar through Unilocal.They have a crazy selection of juices — got their mango passion fruit juice with tapioca and god was it delicious!

Forget Juice Generation and Jamba Juice. Overrated and overpriced! Cool Fresh has the same minus the fancy branding! But hey, if you want that special cup with the fancy name it’s your money.
The guys who work there are gems. They are knowledgable about fruit shakes and the bonus additives.
Check out their very affordable cleanses 1,3 and 5 day packages.
REMEMBER: it is CASH ONLY.
Be sure to recycle the drinking cups in those awesome BLUE BINS the city provides.

After a hearty spicy meal we decided to try this juice bar that’s been here a while.
I have entered before but felt ehh, not worth it. They offer bubble tea that’s a plus since there’s a lack of bubble tea in the area.
Ordered large mango & passion fruit smoothie. I wanted to add some strawberries and it was at no extra cost!
It’s made without milk just some water and ice.
It came out delicious! It was slightly sweet but perfect to balance the spice I just ingested.
The large is legit a large and at a good price point.
Support the little guys!

Bubble tea review only: bubbles/​bob are small and this location uses dome lids as opposed to those plastic seals that most other bubble tea places use. Dome lids are a no go. Flavors are also limited, everything is already sweetened.
The lady working was nice enough, but the place was kind of on the dirty hole in the wall side for a $ 4.50 bubble tea. Hole in the wall doesn’t have to always feel dirty, especially if you’re hawking all natural, clean, vegetable/​fruit drinks and what not.

Though they promote healthy juices, there is always something about Jamba Juice and Juice Generation that always come off as… well…artificial to me. Perhaps it’s merely their façade, their flashy logos, et al, but the seemingly «fast food» vibes of these chains don’t do it for me.
Cool Fresh Juice Bar, however, is a hole in the wall spot tucked unassumingly along Broadway, and they bolster quite a healthy punch.
With a menu of various fruit and /​or veggie juices, smoothies, bubble teas, and even a juice cleanse program, the price is right ($ 3.50 for a medium, $ 4.00 — $ 4.50 for a large) and the cups are CUTE! Yes, I prefer MY Spinach Kale Apple Parsely Juice in a plastic cup with smiling and dancing cartoon elephants, please. The opertion is small, with just one or two people in the back mixing up juices in a flash, but when that frothy green liquid is placed in front of you, you know you’re getting the real deal. This ain’t no Jamba Juice. That’s a VERY good thing.

Great place, albeit a little pricey, for the location, convenience, and sweet staff it is completely worth it! Very low key, in and out spot!
My smoothie was very fresh, and I love that it was made without milk!
