Says they are open till five… We were here a few days ago and They kick everyone out 10 mins early. Today we raced over to get a souvenir sweatshirt for a little girl with us. We broke our backs trying to get over here. We got here 5 minutes before they «closed» and they were all locked up. We called to see if they would open the doors the woman was very rude. She just kept repeating we are closed we can’t open back up. Fine merchandise but very rude staff.

***Nice gift shop in Central Park – a decent variety of good quality clothing as well as educational toys (magnet selection is just okay); water bottles, umbrellas, maps, and other park-​related items are also available; it is a perfectly fine gift shop, but it does not stand out compared to other gift shops; layout is nice though and it has an upscale décor***
I am not sure what the parking situation is at Central Park, but I imagine parking around here is expensive and difficult.
