Definitely not coming back to this location. Place is a mess and getting orders out is slow. Has a lot of traffic coming through so no sure if it’s an issue of not having enough people working to deal with the incoming people. If it is then the managers here should seriously hire more people to handle the orders and getting the food out at heavy customer times. Anything to save a buck by management though so don’t think that will happen.

They are incredibly slow. I rarely come here, but waited a very long time in the drive through, first to have my order taken, and then it seems they take 5+ minutes to help each car at the window. So slow!

When it opened it was a good place to eat at. Now I don’t know what happened but it’s not good anymore. The chicken used to be juicy and the skin very good. We bought the family meal and the skin was tough, chicken was dry. What happened!

Terrible service. Went to buy chicken at 8:05PM and they said they ran out of chicken. WHAT!!! That is the only thing you sell. I have had too many bad service issues at this location for the past 22 years. I used to eat here every week… then 1 time a month… then 1 time 2 months. Now I will stop eating at El Pollo Loco. I give up supporting this restaurant. They have terrible service. And I am an easy going person. Managers are terrible.

If you are unhappy at your job. Then maybe it’s time to look for a new one. Customer service is not part of this franchises list of priorities. I received my bowl in a bag that was too small and it was standing on its side. I had to take it out and ask for a bigger bag to carry it. Then I had to ask for the additional items I paid for that were never given to me. And was given attitude. Then I was charged $ 2 more for an item and was told they made provoking changes but have not fix there sign in the drive through. And was told oh well. Very disappointed, I would expect more such a large company.

Been here multiple times, the service just keeps getting worse. Sat at the drive through while they struggled to figure out my order then had to wait in the parking lot for 10 minutes for my order.

Went in for a quick lunch, while ordering heard the manager say they were out of rice and dark meat. It is 1 o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday. The soft drink machine did not work even though we’re given cups to get our own drinks. The place is not very clean.

Tried to use the drive-through but there were cones blocking it, so had to go inside. I ordered two breasts and was told they were out of chicken!!! It’s like going to Starbuck’s and being told they were out of coffee! The manager, Cynthia, needs to be demoted! As I sit here writing this, a few customers are going inside but most are driving away as soon as they see the cones blocking the drive-through. Poorly run business!

What are we talking about?! This place is awesome over KFC, pizza hut, j-stuck-in-a-box. Fast spicy chicken drown with salsa, any time fast lunch. Must eat a couple raw chilli otherwise it’s not 100%.

I hate to do this but this has happened way too many times. Almost every time I go here the salsa is bad. This time I went, the side of broccoli that I orderd(4 dollars I might add) was spoiled as well. I’m not sure why the vegetables are bad every time I come here but i won’t be coming back. I love the chicken tho, let me not jinx it.

The day«El Pollo Loco» got rid of its«Foster’s Freeze» items is the day I went a little sad. Back in the olden days(ahem, five years ago), I would do my full body workout at Bally’s then get a Chocolate Malt for my muscles on the ride home. Sometimes get a chicken leg, too, to gnaw on during stop lights. Anyway, to cut to the chase, if there’s anything new I like at «El Pollo Loco» its their Baja Shrimp items, with that smoky grilled flavor. I’ll be willing to be spend more than a buck on this. Poor health standards. I ordered 3 piece chicken all dark meat for my son. I got home and it was breasts. I picked them up with my hands. My son wouldn’t eat them so I drove back to exchange them. The workers there put the chicken I picked up with my hands back into the food they serve to other customers. Gross, a complete violation of health codes. Sorry if my finger prints were on your food.

2.5 stars. First time trying out this place, did the drive thru. Wife describes it as a fast food mexican place with fire roasted, marinated chicken. We ordered the 8-pc chicken with a choice of 2 sides, price was around $ 11. Tasty chicken skins for a fast food joint, seasoned well, nice slight char. The chicken itself was pretty dry though. The meal comes with corn tortillas so you can do a little self-made chicken taco if you order the rice & beans as sides. The tasty highlights for me were the mac & cheese and the creamy avocado sauce. The sauce had a nice fleshy-sweet avocado taste, mayo and slight heat. The Mac & cheese was done well, soft, rich and cheesy, couldn’t ask for much more from fast food, gave an extra ½ star for it. Would try again when looking for a somewhat healthier Taco Bell replacement. Wife said chicken was usually pretty spot on.

Not an over-the-top experience, but not a lost cause either. This El Pollo Loco location is located along my daily commute, so I stop by here to eat every once in a while. I usually opt for the double-chicken plates. The double-chicken enchiladas and the double-chicken bowl are pretty good options, especially if you’ve just come out of a workout. Their two-piece meals are mediocre. Consistent with the other reviews here, the meat can come in meager portions. Their drumsticks are lacking, so I suggest ordering breast pieces for this plate option. I ordered the rice and salad as my two sides. Both were pretty good, especially the salad. It came topped with a green sauce that gave it a good flavor. The drink selection is ok. I just get the unsweetened iced black tea. They have a mango version, but it doesn’t appeal to me too much. The rest is soda. Service was pretty standard. Nothing much to complain about. I guess for everyone else, your mileage may vary.

Came on Sunday 1240, place was filthy, not busy. Placed order, went to sit down, went back to counter and asked to have table cleaned off, the person grabbed a stack of napkins dragged them across the counter while wiping food that was on the counter on to the floor and said here you go, I rushed to eat then ran for the door. Not what I am used to from El Pollo Loco, I noticed on Unilocal average is Two stars. Eaters beware.

I only write bad reviews for restaurants that truly deserve it. I can genuinely say that I entered that drive thru in a good mood and left the drive thru with a bad taste in my mouth, to say the least. In fact, I won’t write a bad review on acct of one employees shitty day. But wtf is this sorry excuse of a drumstick. More like el pollo hobo. Yes this is obviously the drumstick of a hobo bum chicken. Service sucks. And employees won’t except more than 1 coupon @ a time. Chicken is dry. Forgot our drinks. No silverware. Churros were hard and cold.

Food is good. Tomatoes’ salsa not bad, guacamole salsa watery not much avocado like in the rest of the Pollo Locos’. The place looks like it has a new facelift, so it’s a plus when the owner of the one of the franchise is willing to invest in at a place like this. Now, this one is a big one for me,(SERVICE). Gets a fairly big line during lunch that goes all the way to the north entrance door, and the staff seems to be multitasking and pressure. I would recommend getting 2 more employees to help the rest of the staff that seems understaff and not happy. A good work environment usually trickles down from the owner to manager to employes. I hope to come again to this location soon and see some changes.
