The Gingerbread House! A local landmark. A place which figures prominently in many a child’s nightmare, around here. Err – well, at least it used to. Yeah, it used to be that any youngster for miles around – in this neighborhood –I’m talking every generation since WWI – knew about this house. Mysterious and uncanny! Why don’t more playgrounds look like this? Okay its a private residence, I understand that. But this kind of magic is what the world needs more of, not iPods. A must-​see place to stroll by with your little ones before they meet the world of computers. Oooh and aaah from the sidewalk and let them gaze in awe and wonder…
