Came here for after work drinks with a friend. Quiet, comforting, cozy, nondescript but totally fine. Here’s thing thing: I looked at their drink menu, printed in a nice little faux-leather menu holder, and saw Jim Beam cost $ 8 on an extensive list of booze options. Ordered a Jim Beam neat and enjoyed a peaceful glass of whiskey. Got bill and there was a $ 2 up-charge for having the drink«neat.» Explained frustration to the bartender that it’s on the menu as $ 8, it should be $ 8 …unless there is some neat-related fine print(which there was not). Got some attitude. She explained«it’s been like that at every bar I’ve worked at.» Not helpful. No sympathy. Only condescension. I’ve had neat whiskey at at least 20 bars in the city with printed liquor menus and no one has ever surprised me with a $ 2 up-charge for… pouring booze straight into a glass? Maybe it’s a little more booze but either be upfront about it or be sympathetic when patrons question it. Not cool… Gramercy Park Bar… not cool.

This is what neighborhood bars are all about. Great space, personable bartenders, and perfect drinks. Been coming here since week 1 and it never fails. Becks and Ryan are a great 1 – 2 punch.

Monday thru Wednesday during the day is the best because of the day bartender, Kevin… a real pro who knows how to make the place«sing»! The ideal neighborhood bar!

It is a nice space with ok beer selection. But the bartender that night was unfortunately inattentive and just hung out with the regulars/her friends.

Great Spot. Love the place. Went in for some beer and sports, and the place hit the spot. Lovely and accommodating bartenders. Very attentive. Buy backs a plenty!!! Love the place. I wish the playoffs were longer so I can keep coming back.

Awesome, fun, down to earth bar /grill with great music, exceptionally well-made drinks and the friendliest, most hospitable staff you’ll find anywhere in NYC. Great spot for catching the games too, they have a batch of TV’s and will accommodate requests. Def my new favorite downtown spot!

Came here last night to meet up with a friend. It was loud, loud, and really loud. Most people there were overgrown frat boys/sorority girls… as evidenced by the late 20 somethings at the table next to use yelling and pounding shots. Drinks were alright, a bit overpriced. Bartenders were obviously very busy and it took forever for my pretzel to come out. The ambiance wasn’t bad and this seems like it would be a nice quiet place on the weekdays, but definitely never going back there on a Saturday night.

Recently moved to the area and been scouting some good bars and restaurants and came across this bar GPB. The crowd is great and the owner Ryan is a great dude as well as Rebecca one of the bartenders and Eva another great bartender and they also have some small bites of food which were all great. Definately will be back. Thanks GPB

I’ve never written a review before but I just celebrated my birthday here and their service made me want to write one. Everyone was great, very attentive and friendly. No one had to wait for a drink and when I walked in it was really nicely decorated, which I wasn’t expecting. I definitely recommend hosting a private event with them, they will take care of you!

My favorite bar in Gramercy. I’ve been going to this bar for the past two months and every time I am greeted with very friendly staff. During peak hours it can be quite crowded but seating is usually available. I usually like to hit this bar during non-peak hours with a couple of friends. I haven’t really tried any of the specialty drinks, but I can vouch for that they make a very very satisfying long island. I do recommend!

This place is a hidden gem. not too far from the Flatiron Building. Its a great place to catch a game and hang out with friends or coworkers. Conveniently located near grammercy park and not far from Park Ave.

In town from NC. Found this awesome bar with 2 super cute bartenders who even put the Duke/Carolina game on for me! Spinach dip was DELISH, but Eva and Rebecca were AMAZING!

I did drinks here last night with some friends. Very cute, cozy bar with great lighting. The bathroom even had a real lantern, which I thought was cool. Friendly bartenders, mine made me a whiskey sour just as I like it, which at $ 5 was pretty sweet. Overall a great bar for hanging out with friends or for a casual date.

The bartenders were incredibly rude serving us even though they were sitting behind the bar at peak hours on Facebook the entire time ignoring us. When we tried to order they screamed at us calling us children and continued to check their phones.

Great neighborhood bar with decent specials. They have a good crowd, not too young but not too old either. The bartenders are nice and pay attention to you. They also have a few tvs all over so it’s a good place to watch games.

This is place is cool. Usually a good ratio, nothing fratastic going on, tasty snacks, good lighting and a clean bathroom. All while having a few flat-screens just in case. Cool owner who is usually on premises which I think keeps service tight. Every hood should have a GPB.

This is definitely one of the hidden gems of Gramercy. Placed perfectly just below street level, it feels like you are walking into a members-only club that welcomes everyone! The bartenders and staff are more the happy to get you what your looking for; Ryan, Kate, Cara, Rebekah, Tyler and Philippe are always on point! Multiple TV’s for which ever game to be watched. Simple selection beers on tap or bottle with the right needs for a go-to bourbon. If you are here for a game, get the Wings!

I was visiting my mom who lives in the area, and we were looking for a more mellow place to have a drink. Gramercy Park was the perfect choice! Although Unilocal labels this as a wine bar, it’s really more like a sports bar. But it has a surprisingly good selection of wine considering it’s a sports bar. The bartender was friendly, and the drinks were reasonably priced. We were stuffed from dinner earlier, so we didn’t order any food, but the menu had lots of good bar snacks like grilled cheese. If you are looking for a mellow bar to have a drink in Gramercy, definitely check this place out.

This place has changed names/themes so many times over the years I had nearly given up on it being a spot worth patronizing. I’m happy to note this newest incarnation is friendly and unpretentious. The bar stocks the standard brands and the people working behind it are friendly. They will make any drink you’d like, as long as they have the ingredients. Haven’t tried the food.
