Halal Cart

Got half chicken half lamb. $ 5. Generous amount of white sauce! The man and woman running this place was very nice^^

Consistently good the 6 times I’ve ordered the chicken and rice. The brother and sister preparing the food are friendly and always smiling. They often throw in an extra falafel ball to sample. Chicken is fresh and not dried out. Rice is well seasoned. A great reliable place for lunch. Too bad it’s only available during the work week.

Pretty good stuff. I got lettuce, tomato, chicken and rice with white sauce and a free pita with a drink for only $ 5! My only complaint is that the rice tastes like spanish rice and not the kind you get at halal carts. It struck me as an odd standout but it’s not a deal breaker. The chicken is juicy which is always good and there was a line of people waiting for their orders from the cart. The lady and man working inside seem really sweet and don’t seem to have that gruff new yorker street vendor-​ness to them yet which is nice… I like to see a smile when I get my food. :)
